Chapter 285: Kidnapped ( 2 )
Meanwhile, Yan Yuling, unaware that a group of men had broken into her house, was sleeping in her room. Due to her pregnancy, she often felt sleepy and lethargic, so she would take a nap after lunch.
As she was in deep sleep, the door opened, and two men entered the room. One of them quickly covered her mouth with a cloth while the other restrained her hands, preventing her from moving or fighting back.
Startled by the sudden attack, Yan Yuling opened her eyes and let out a muffled scream, "EMPH!!!"
She struggled to free herself, but her strength was no match for the men, and with the sedative, she soon lost consciousness.
The man let go of her once he saw she was no longer moving. He carried her on his back and said, "Let’s go."
Soon after, a black van entered and left the house. In the middle of the day, Yan Yuling was taken away without anyone noticing.
When Aunt Chen returned from buying groceries, two hours had passed since Yan Yuling was kidnaped. As she entered the house, she noticed the gate was wide open and sensed that something was wrong.
She quickened her pace and saw the main door was also wide open. Worried about Yan Yuling, she put the bags down and checked the entire house, "Madam, where are you? Madam!"
Aunt Chen checked everywhere but found no one. When she rushed to the bedroom, she noticed Yan Yuling’s slippers were still there, but the bedsheet was in disarray. She looked around and realized that everything else was intact, and nothing appeared to be missing.
A bad premonition rose in her heart, and she quickly dialed Feng Zhexuan’s number.
In the Feng Group’s President’s office, Feng Zhexuan was in a meeting with the Cyber Vision team when his phone suddenly rang. He checked the caller ID and frowned.
Picking up the phone, he said, "Hello, Aunt Chen."
Before he could ask what was going on, he heard Aunt Chen’s anxious voice, "Master, Madam is gone!"
As soon as he heard this, Feng Zhexuan’s heart stopped for a moment, and his face turned pale instantly.
"Aunt Chen, what do you mean? What happened to my wife?" he asked anxiously.
"Master, I can’t find Madam, and the house is in a mess," Aunt Chen explained.
"Where are the bodyguards?" Feng Zhexuan asked.
"I didn’t see them either."
Feng Zhexuan took a deep breath to calm himself. He hoped his wife was simply out shopping.
"Aunt Chen, go check my wife’s car," he ordered while clenching his fist tightly.
"O-okay."
Feng Zhexuan felt each second tick by like torture as he waited for Aunt Chen. After a while, he heard her voice again, "M-master, the car is still here."
As soon as he heard this, his heart sank. He felt dizzy and almost collapsed.
When his subordinates saw this, they exclaimed, "President Feng!"
Although they wanted to help him, they were across the world and could only watch him worriedly through the screen.
When he staggered, Feng Zhexuan quickly grabbed the desk to steady himself. Forcing himself to calm down, he instructed firmly, "Aunt Chen, call the police."
After ending the call, he turned to his worried subordinates and commanded, "Mobilize our elite team. Locate my wife immediately."
Realizing the gravity of the situation, the team sprang into action. Phones buzzed as they made arrangements, each person carrying out their assigned tasks with urgency.
Meanwhile, Feng Zhexuan swiftly accessed his home’s security system. His hands moved rapidly over the keyboard, line after line of code filling the screen.
Within minutes, a video appeared on his screen, showing his wife being abducted. Though he suspected the car’s license plate was fake, he still took a screenshot and made a call.
The line connected quickly. "Hello, Zhexuan," a deep voice greeted him with a hint of surprise.
"Uncle, I need your help," Feng Zhexuan said directly, with a hint of urgency.
He Yan, on the other end of the call, froze when he heard this. It was unusual for his wife’s nephew to contact him directly. Sensing his urgency, he asked, "Zhexuan, what happened?"
"Uncle, my wife has been abducted. I will send you a plate number—please help me to track it."
He Yan’s expression hardened as he detected the undercurrent of fear and desperation in Zhexuan’s usually composed voice.
"Leave it to me," he replied firmly.
"Thank you, Uncle," Feng Zhexuan said before ending the call.
Shortly after, He Yan received the photo. Without delay, he mobilized his resources, directing his team to locate the vehicle and its occupants.
Back in his office, Feng Zhexuan sat with his head lowered as his clasped hands trembled. A wave of fear unlike any he had ever felt coursed through him. Even during his own abduction 15 years ago, he had never felt this powerless.
After nearly ten minutes of battling his inner turmoil, he took a deep breath to steady himself. He couldn’t afford to fall apart—not when his wife and unborn child were in danger. With renewed determination, he opened his laptop and accessed the dark web, a place he had avoided for years.
The moment his profile lit up, countless messages flooded his screen. Feeling impatient, he blocked all of the messages and posted a mission request.
Mission Target: Yan Yuling, 20 years old, Female.
Request: Locate her whereabouts.
Reward: $10 million.

The cyber world was instantly abuzz as soon as his request was posted.
Jian Yuan, who was tracing his sister’s whereabouts, also noticed the appearance of a long lost friend. As a seasoned figure in the cyber world, he was taken aback when he saw his old friend’s profile activate after years of silence.
Driven by curiosity, he opened the new mission request. The moment he read the mission, he was stunned. He read the mission over and over again before a thought flashed in his mind. His eyes were wide with shock and disbelief as he refused to admit this thought.
