With trembling hands, Jin Rongsan dialed his granddaughter’s number. The call was answered shortly, and he heard her voice, "Grandpa, it’s rare for you to call me. Have you returned from the capital?"

"Yuling, something happened to your father," Jin Rongsan said hoarsely.

In the president’s office at the Feng Group, Yan Yuling stood up abruptly from the couch and asked, "Grandpa, what do you mean?"

"Yuling, Jin Zhiwen is your father. Something happened to him, and he is in the emergency room now."

Yan Yuling’s eyes widened in shock as she said, "Grandpa, I will come as soon as possible. Please send me the name of the hospital."

"Okay."

After the call ended, Feng Zhexuan walked over to his wife and asked, "Wife, what’s wrong?"

Yan Yuling looked at her husband and said with a trembling voice, "Husband, Grandpa found my father. But something happened to him, and he is in the emergency room. I need to go to the capital."

Seeing how pale her face was and how panicked she was, Feng Zhexuan embraced his wife and said, "Wife, don’t worry. Your father will be alright. I will go with you to the capital."

Yan Yuling looked at him and said, "Husband, I can go alone. You are busy with work. If you come with me, won’t it tire you?"

Hearing the concern in her voice, Feng Zhexuan kissed her forehead and said, "Don’t worry about me. We have an office in the capital, so I can work from there."

Yan Yuling didn’t know much about her husband’s work, so she simply nodded and said, "I will go back and pack our clothes."

"No need. We can buy what we need in the capital. Wait here, and I will prepare everything," Feng Zhexuan reassured her as he stopped her from leaving.

Hearing this, Yan Yuling didn’t insist and waited in the president’s office. Although she had never met her father and he was essentially a stranger to her, the news of something happening to him made her feel worried and anxious.

She didn’t want anything bad to happen to her father. Even if he wasn’t the father figure she wished for, she still hoped he would be alright.

While she waited anxiously, Feng Zhexuan instructed the staff and pilot to prepare the helicopter.

At the same time, he asked Wei Zheming to push back his entire schedule. Important meetings would be attended by Wei Zheming, and any work-related documents would be sent to him via email.

An hour later, Wei Zheming entered the president’s office and announced, "President, Madam, the helicopter is ready. I have informed headquarters about your arrival. They will prepare everything for you there."

Feng Zhexuan packed his laptop and said, "Thank you. I will leave everything here in your hands. Inform me immediately if anything urgent arises."

Wei Zheming understood that he was referring to the situation involving Yan Liguang and Feng Bohai, so he nodded and replied, "Understood."

Feng Zhexuan grabbed his bag and walked over to his wife. He took her bag, held her hand, and said, "Wife, let’s go."

Coming back to her senses, Yan Yuling stood up and followed her husband to the rooftop, where the pilot and co-pilot were already waiting for them.

Seeing them approach, both greeted them, "Boss, Madam."

Feng Zhexuan shook hands with them while saying, "Captain, Vice-Captain, thank you for coming on short notice."

"President Feng, it’s our duty," the pilot replied with a smile.

After they boarded the helicopter, Wei Zheming watched from the building as it took off. Looking skyward, he sighed and dialed Xiao Wu’s number.

When the call connected, he said, "Xiao Wu, pack your clothes and head to the airport. I have booked a ticket for you. You will need to leave for the capital in two hours."

Xiao Wu, who was eating in the cafeteria, quickly swallowed her food and responded, "Understood."

Knowing she had been sent to the capital so urgently, Xiao Wu assumed something must have happened to the Madam. She hurried to finish her meal, rushed back to her house, and packed quickly, taking only two sets of clothes and some personal items.

Upon arriving at the airport, she checked in and was led directly to the VIP lounge. Half an hour later, she boarded the plane to the capital.

Three hours later, a helicopter landed on the rooftop of Feng Group’s headquarters. After the engine shut down, the door opened, and Feng Zhexuan stepped out before helping his wife.

Since the press conference had been broadcast live, everyone working in Feng Group headquarter and the subsidiary companies already knew who their boss’s wife was.

So, when a group of directors and managers saw them walking hand in hand, they greeted them, "President Feng, Madam."

Everyone’s hearts were in their throats since no one knew the reason for their big boss’s sudden return. At their last meeting, the big boss had even mentioned that he planned to stay at the Haicheng branch a little longer after completing a project. Unexpectedly, he returned just a few days later with his wife.

Feng Zhexuan nodded and said, "Prepare my car."

The moment he finished his words, a woman stepped forward, and said, "President Feng, I will get your car right away."

When he heard this,Feng Zhexuan paused and looked at her. Seizing the opportunity to get his attention, the woman smiled shyly and added, "President Feng, I’m an excellent driver."

Noticing the hidden invitation in her tone, Feng Zhexuan frowned and asked, "Who hired her?"

The HR manager quickly stepped forward, saying, "President Feng, I’m the one who hired her."

"You receive a warning for hiring an unprofessional staff member and she is fired, effective immediately," Feng Zhexuan said coldly before walking away with his wife.

Yan Yuling turned her head, noticing the woman in tears and the middle-aged man looking stunned. She glanced at her husband but had no intention of pleading on their behalf. It was good to use them as a warning for other women.
