"Instead of thanking me for dealing with her, you are upset. Don’t forget, we have an agreement with the Li family. If Wufeng remains involved with that entertainer, how will we explain it to the Li family?"

Chairman Guan was disgusted by the sound coming from the other side. But, he still kept his calm and responded, "Since my son already has someone he loves, let your son marry the Li family’s daughter instead."

Angered by his indifferent words, Madam Guan replied, "Husband, my son is the rightful heir of the Guan family. Forcing him to marry that woman would ruin him!"

"If you knew she was unsuitable, why agree to the engagement in the first place? Since this was your arrangement, let your son fulfill it. As for the actress, I want her to return in two hours. If she loses even a hair, I will make you regret it."

After speaking, Chairman Yan hung up the phone without waiting for his wife’s reply.

Hearing the busy tone and recalling the warning in her husband’s voice, Madam Guan felt a chill in her heart. Their marriage had been arranged by their family for business interests. So, there was never love nor respect in their marriage over the years.

Although she had two sons and a daughter, they were not the children of her husband. Instead, it was her lover’s children. Although both her lover and her are married, they are still entangled. They stopped seeing each other only when her lover’s wife threatened to expose them.

But that didn’t stop her from finding handsome young men to be her lovers. She never felt guilty toward her husband. After all, her husband had never touched her even once since they got married, let alone fulfill his marital duty as her husband.

She had always known her husband intended to leave everything to his son with that dead woman. But, because of her family’s power, he at least kept up appearances in the public and never intervened with her private life.

Today, however, he dared to threaten her openly for that bastard. It seemed Wufeng had finally known how to get his father to support him.

Grinding her teeth, Madam Guan said, "I would like to see what you can do to me. Asking me to hand her over? Keep dreaming!"
