That ocean of clouds was formed from the blood, evil Qi, and souls of countless demon beasts slaughtered on Wuji Continent years ago.

Although the Barrier exists, every ten years a crack would appear, allowing the Beast Blood Clouds within to take the opportunity to drift into Wuji Continent through the fissure.

Once the Blood Cloud enters the continent, it absorbs the magic elements between heaven and earth and devours living beings. Over time, it gains spiritual energy, turns into a Demon Beast Embryo, and once the embryo matures, it will burst forth from the clouds, becoming a high-level Demon Beast.

The Demon Beasts born from the Beast Blood Cloud are not like the common Demon Beasts of the continent; they possess extraordinary talents, with some even capable of wielding terrifying magic.

The peril the villagers faced was due to this Beast Blood Cloud.

Upon discovering the existence of such Beast Blood Clouds, most countries on the continent would kill them before they could hatch and break free from the clouds.

Yun Canghai was a member of the Yun Family; although he had betrayed his family for his wife in his early years, he couldn’t bear to see his kin and their subjects homeless and displaced.

Ahead, a colossal Blood Cloud loomed like a raging beast crouching on the sands — it was where the village once stood.

"This rich, blood-like color, with the heartbeat of a fetus audible from afar, this Beast Blood Cloud will break out of the clouds within half a day," Yun Canghai saw the expanding volume of the Blood Cloud that completely covered the entire village, his expression as somber as still water.

Before even getting close to the Blood Cloud, a small tornado tumbled out from the midst of the clouds.

Yun Canghai swiftly chanted, and a dazzling rocket hit the tornado.

The tornado dissipated, with the rocket vanishing alongside it.

The sky was painted a deep crimson.

A sound like the singing of the wind emanated from within the Beast Blood Cloud.

"The Demon Beast within the Beast Blood Cloud is on the verge of hatching," Yun Canghai no longer hesitated. His tall and thin figure, like a javelin, plunged into the Blood Cloud.

Not far away, Little Black hastened over, and upon seeing Yun Canghai dive into the Beast Blood Cloud, it followed suit and leaped into it as well.

Two hours later, Yun Sheng and a young man in white, along with two others, rushed to the desolate plains.

On the horizon, a blood-red mushroom cloud rose, which, upon shaky inspection, resembled a blood-colored Lingzhi.

A crack continually grew from within the clouds, where a hideous demon beast writhed, resembling both a worm and a maggot.

Half of the demon beast’s body had already emerged from the Beast Blood Cloud, covered in incubation fluid and towering like a small building.

There were no villages, plants, or any living things around.

"It’s a Wind Maggot Beast," the two boy mages said in unison after seeing the demon beast’s appearance, their eyes filled with pity as they looked towards the girl.

The Wind Maggot Beast, an Eighth Rank Magical Beast, came with innate Wind Magic known as Wind Vortex, with an astonishing devouring power.

The girl’s father must have been devoured by the beast.

"Father!" Yun Sheng searched all around, but there was no sign of Yun Canghai.

"Don’t be reckless!" The teenager pulled Yun Sheng back, and the two other children were shocked again. Junior Fate actually disregarded his cleanliness to grab hold of the filthy girl?

"Let go!" Yun Sheng tried to shake the boy off, but despite his frail appearance, his strength was surprisingly great; his grip was like iron, firmly restraining Yun Sheng.

A massive Fireball burst out from the Blood Cloud, like a conspicuous firework lighting up the dark night.

Upon closer inspection, it was not a Fireball but a person.

There, amidst the Beast Blood Cloud, a figure stood suspended in mid-air.

The person stood in the sky, and behind were a pair of Elemental Fire Wings formed of the Fire Element, drenched in blood, yet the Magic Wand in hand still shone with a dazzling light.

Unexpectedly, in such a remote part of the central nation, there appeared a Sky Mage.
