He Ao, holding the medicine, found a plastic spatula to apply it, and handed it to the Wilderness Wanderers outside.

After a simple demonstration, he asked Penny to help the Wanderers apply the medicine to each other. Then he went to a nearby supermarket and bought some simple liquid food.

Once everything was in order, he let the Wanderers rest inside the store, locked the door, and then left the old street.

However, he didn’t head straight to No. 79 Avenue, but raised his wristband, placed a tiny earpiece into his external auditory canal, and then opened the wristband browser to input a complex web address.

A loading circle appeared on the wristband, and as the circle vanished, a simple but cool pop-up with a grey and black interface sprang up.

The pop-up was simple, aside from the background image there were only two fields, one for [Account], and one for [Password].

He Ao clicked on the account field, quickly entered a 108-character alphabetic and numeric random combo, then opened the password interface and swiftly keyed in a 108-character password.

Then he clicked confirm.

The pop-up flickered, then a download bar appeared, indicating a program was downloading.

After a while, the program finished downloading, and a new pop-up emerged.

[Do you want to install custom system?]

He Ao chose yes.

[Scanning system environment...]

[Checking system software...]

[System will restart, after the restart it will enter the motherboard’s basic input-output system, you will need to install the system manually after the restart.]

Subsequently, the wristband restarted, presenting an extremely simple interface with only words and options.

He Ao selected the system installation package, and after a flash, he was taken to the system installation interface.

Waiting for the system to finish installing, a new pop-up window emerged, still the simple account and password fields.

He Ao once again entered a different set of 108-character account and password.

Completing the input, a silver, mechanical-style page unfolded.

He Ao sequentially registered various biometric information. Finally, all pop-ups led to the last one, with a sound wave pattern on it,

He Ao looked at the wristband and said softly, "Hello, Eve."

The wristband flickered once, all pages closed, and the system interface reverted to its appearance before He Ao’s program download.

A gentle voice rose in He Ao’s ear, "Hello, K."

It was a success.

He Ao breathed a sigh of relief.

This was a little backdoor he had left in the Eve system.

As the creator of Eve, Vian had the highest authority over Eve, and the old butler had the second-highest administrative authority.

Betwixt these two levels of authority, He Ao had created a new one, belonging to ’K’.

This authority surpassed the butler’s and was roughly equivalent to the creator’s.

This authority wasn’t tied to any one individual but was composed of several hundred sets of verification accounts.

Each set of verification accounts included two sets of account-password combos, corresponding to first-time and second-time verifications, each consisting of 108 randomly generated alphanumeric characters.

To prevent brute-force attacks, every device and network address had only one chance to enter the password—any error would result in an immediate lockout, forbidding further access.

Once an account or its password is correct and the other is not, the entire set of two passwords will be silently disabled and will be unusable for the next three months.

The first verification is used for website download verification, and the second verification is for identity recognition. After successful recognition, the bearer is granted ’K’ privileges.

The privileges are valid for 7 days, and each set of passwords is invalidated after use.

To continue using the privileges requires reauthorization.

These hundreds of sets of passwords have no patterns nor logic; they are entirely random.

Ordinary password combinations need a logical regularity or special machine encryption storage, especially these 108-bit special passwords, which require a progressive memory method to ensure that users can remember them. However, this indirectly makes the passwords susceptible to being cracked.

He Ao doesn’t need that.

He has Super Memory.

After connecting with Eve, He Ao took a taxi to No. 79 Avenue.

No. 79 Avenue is also in Aston District, and it’s near the high walls, but He Ao didn’t go directly to No. 135 on No. 79 Avenue. Instead, he asked the taxi to stop at the intersection.

As soon as he got out of the car, he was met with a dreary silence.

This street is unlike the bustling Eighth Avenue in Crown District and also different from the chaotic streets of Aston District filled with gunfire.

On this road, there are only ornamental trees standing on both sides of the street, and factories that still shine with light deep into the night.

This is the Industrial District of Aston District.

The sidewalks on both sides had not been maintained for a long time, making them uneven and bumpy, while the central roadway was solid and clean, with the occasional roaring of heavy trucks speeding past.

The cold streetlights emitted a yellowish light, illuminating the path for pedestrians.

The cold wind whisked across He Ao’s cheek, and the sounds of massive machines roaring from the enormous buildings surrounded him.

Every inch of land in Dawn City is precious, so even the factories are mixed in with tall buildings.

Theoretically, the high-rises housing factories should have good sound insulation and higher reinforcement standards.

But better soundproofing and reinforcement mean higher costs.

Therefore, it is an industry norm for high-rise developers to cut corners here.

The business owners renting the high-rises pretend not to notice these substandard aspects, in exchange for lower rent.

After all, business owners seldom visit their factories; they’re more often found attending upscale balls in Crown District or engaging in intimate conversations with beautiful, dancing women in Alisel.

This knowledge wasn’t something that Wilderness Wanderer Ronald had; it came from Vian.

Vian’s college life was spent in Dawn City. During this time, many business owners and executives, trying to curry favor with him, would share some not-so-secret ’inside stories’ of the industry.

He Ao gathered his thoughts, continued striding, and gradually approached No. 135.

Unlike other factory buildings on No. 79 Avenue, which often crammed several factories into one building, the building at No. 135 belonged to a single factory.

"Kyle Manufacturing Company"

He Ao stood outside the factory’s fence, his gaze penetrating the high-voltage wires on the fence, and saw the giant signboard hanging on the building.

Just as he paused, a slender figure suddenly sprang from the fence not far from He Ao, leapt over the high-voltage wires, and fell to the ground. After a brief two-second pause, he struggled to get up, seemingly having planned his escape well, and immediately took off in the opposite direction to He Ao.

Shortly after this figure took off, a series of urgent footsteps sounded; then, a heavy iron gate near He Ao was pushed open, and several burly men came out one by one.

They glanced around.

A few of them spotted the fleeing figure, "Over there, chase him!"

However, not all of them went after the figure. Two of them, while glancing around, noticed He Ao, who was standing under the streetlight not far from them.

The appearance of a Wilderness Wanderer and that of someone who lived in the city long-term were slightly different, and skilled hunters could tell at a glance.

These two men turned back to say a few words to the other burly men and instead of pursuing the fleeing figure, they menacingly walked toward He Ao.
