Chapter 665: Chapter 309: Reversal

At the moment Yuki saw Zoloa raise the stick, she realized what she needed to do, simultaneously cursing herself for not thinking quickly enough.

If it were her master, he would have picked up this "correct answer" immediately.

The people from Recycling Station Town saw this object as a kind of "symbol," meant to convey a message of "this place is very dangerous" to Green Forest. And to her, it was an "idol" that needed to be shattered.

Her obsession with this was so deep that she had forgotten another very important thing—it was a weapon.

At least three years ago, it had been used as a blade by Lev Scheer, the notorious warrior from Green Forest.

There was no doubt it qualified as a close-combat weapon.

This transmission shaft, originally from an assault warship, had performance too strong for the town’s residents to reprocess. The chainsaw sword had collided with it several times, yet had not left a noticeable scratch on the long stick.

It was exactly the weapon needed to break the game.

Yuki gripped the long stick, adopting a stance. Her prosthetic hand wasn’t a high-end model and didn’t come with specialized fittings. The metallic powder magnetorheological fluid inside the long stick, which could continually shift its center of gravity, was beyond her control. All the subtle variations that the long stick should possess were out of reach for Yuki.

Even so, Yuki could intuitively feel the weapon’s exceptional performance.

Its hardness, its toughness, its...

Yuki even felt as if some emotion within her was flowing into this weapon through her arm.

Perhaps Mr. Lev had once used this weapon to smash the skulls of many innocent people. But now, it was an extension of Yuki’s own body...

Yuki retrieved a Martial Arts Algorithm from the database. It was something Xiang Shan had asked her to "research," claiming it would "expand her vision."

It had once been Yuki’s nightmare.

SSC-style Triple Soldier Combined Stick.

The Green Forest lackeys sneered, stepping forward simultaneously, with two Chainsaw Greatswords striking down at once, while the third swung his greatsword to try to block Yuki’s movements.

But Yuki, armed, did not need to dodge. Without hesitation, she lifted the long stick and chopped down with it as though it were a greatsword.

The long stick collided head-on with the chainsaw swords for the second time.

But this time, Yuki released more power and knew how to Release Energy.

More critically, Yuki knew the chainsaw swords’ flaw!

Two shadows almost popped off the two chainsaw swords simultaneously.

The sudden burst of internal force sent the chains, like blades, slicing clean through the chainsaw chains. Under the force of the machinery, the chains flew off the chainsaw at a terrifying speed.

This was exactly why chainsaw swords were quickly phased out in the early days of the Heroic Wars. They simply weren’t suitable for "slashing," given the chains were too fragile.

Gripping the long stick tight, Yuki controlled the rebounding force. Her hands slid to grasp the end of the long stick and, with a "Great Spear" technique, she thrust out, pointing the tip at the third Green Forest warrior’s chainsaw greatsword, snapping its chain.

Meanwhile, the first two Green Forest warriors obliviously continued to swing their weapons. But Yuki did not flinch or dodge, facing the "greatsword" with her body. Without its chain, the chainsaw was like a Poisonous Snake without its fangs, utterly lacking in lethality. Yuki weaved through the two Green Forest warriors’ defenses with her body.

Then, she spun.

With both hands on the end of the long stick. The other end of the long stick, following the young Hero’s turn, was accelerated to a terrifying speed. The air screamed as it fled from the path of the long stick.

Yuki swung the long stick to the side of the fourth Green Forest lackey’s head.

"Snap." The eye of the Green Forest member immediately flew out.

That was not the end. Using the falling Green Forest member as cover, Yuki raised the long stick high, pulled the hand holding the stick back behind him, his entire body tensed like a crossbow.

The next moment, he hurled the long stick.

Accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, the long stick turned into a streak of silver light, piercing through an iron wall and nailing a Gunner to the ground.

In an instant, Yuki had disabled three attackers and killed one, while the remaining Green Forest lackeys hadn’t even had time to react. At that moment, the changes to the entire formation were quite sluggish.

Yuki crouched down, charged with the momentum of the dying man falling backward. The Gunners on the side realized Yuki’s intention and opened fire. But Yuki was advancing behind the corpse of a Green Forest member with an industrial prosthetic body. The bullets from the Green Forest members could not penetrate Yuki’s external armor after passing through one body.

In just tens of seconds, Yuki arrived in front of those few Gunners.

He dropped his support, and the Green Forest corpse finally continued to fall. The Gunners, thinking Yuki would cross over the body of his comrade, raised their guns high and fired.

But Yuki chose to slide under the falling body of the Green Forest member. He quickly broke through the iron wall and reached the position of the Green Forest Gunners. The Gunner, nailed to the ground by the long stick, was not yet dead and seemed to want to raise his gun in retaliation. But when Yuki pulled out the long stick, he casually stirred inside the Gunner, damaging many components. The Gunner lost power instantly.

Then, Yuki raised the stick and charged at the remaining Gunners.

The large group of Green Forest members outside finally reacted. It took them a few seconds to adjust their formation, and then they moved with orderly footwork toward the iron wall.

But in those few seconds, the noise inside quickly died down.

Yuki kicked down the iron wall.

The Green Forest lackeys saw the guy with the long stick on his back.

Of course, they also saw the heavy machine gun he had just snatched in his hands.

Yuki snarled and pulled the trigger.

The Green Forest members hastily raised their shields, but not everyone was quick enough. Still, three of them burst into sprays of blood.

And so, another gap appeared in their formation.

Yuki pulled out the long stick and pounced again.

Liu Ri’s situation was now perilously precarious. He had lost an arm, and the wrist joint of his other hand was also malfunctioning due to severe blows.

Liu Ri had managed to hold on until now partly because, in the initial assault, Tajibur was crippled by losing a Prosthetic Eye.

Liu Ri consciously dived into Tajibur’s blind spot.

At that moment, a whistling sound came from inside the town, seemingly a kind of acoustic signal. Tajibur’s punching technique changed in that instant, as if something had caught his attention.

Liu Ri barely managed to create some distance. He quickly surveyed his surroundings to regain a grasp of the situation.

Han Zhun looked in dire straits as well. His external armor was in tatters, and the original parts had several large bleeding wounds.

Liu Ri asked Han Zhun to dodge Tajibur’s attacks while trying to hold back the surrounding lackeys as much as possible and tear through their formation. His battle record was far from ideal; he hadn’t killed anyone, but at least he had helped the two of them hold on until now.

Liu Ri watched the lackeys heading toward the town and immediately understood. He said to Tajibur, "Your situation doesn’t seem very good, does it?"
