Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: The Yellow Sparrow Follows Behind

“You bastard!”

Silas’s rage was surging!

The brother-against-brother conflict often depicted in dramas had now befallen his own family.

They say family scandals should remain hidden, yet Jace Will, in his pursuit of power and position, even schemed against his own father.

Silas didn’t care about anything else, but as the Vein Holder, he had lost all face today, completely outmaneuvered by his own son.

If word got out, how could this old face face the world?

What a disgrace!

“You were fooled? You’re senile! You abolished the elder and favored the younger—so what if I tricked you? Even I can make a fool of you, which proves you’re unworthy of being the Vein Holder!”

Jace, his eyes red with rage, roared, “I don’t even understand how Grandpa handed the position over to you! Senile old fool!”

“Watch your tongue!” Osvaldo stepped forward, pointing at Jace who was hiding behind Silas: “Eldest Young Master, mind your words!”

“Words?” Jace shook his head: “We’ve come to this—I’ll show you all one day. Just watch and see.”

“You think you can leave?” Silas’s face turned cold, and he ordered: “Seize him!”

As soon as the words left his mouth, the Micah Will warriors surrounded Jace.

These people had originally planned to massacre the Young Family, but unexpectedly switched their target to the eldest son.

Life, truly dramatic in this way.

“Hold it right there!” Julius Reed’s voice rang out once more.

As soon as he spoke, everyone from the Micah Will faction turned to look at him.

Even Jace Will was filled with confusion.

The internal conflict within the Will Family—what did it have to do with this man?

“This is the Young Family’s residence. If you want to fight, take it outside. Break something here, and you won’t be able to pay for it.” Julius Reed stood up and said calmly, “Before you leave the Young Family’s gates, anyone who makes a move will die.”

“This is an internal matter of Micah Will. What right do you have to interfere?” A Micah Will elder drew his blade and pointed at Julius Reed: “Mind your words!”

They had come to the Young Family with the intention of wiping them out.

Naturally, their tone was insolent.

“Is that so?” Julius Reed extended his right hand and gave a fierce squeeze!

Buzz!

The elder’s longsword began to wail!

“What’s happening!” The elder, though a Grandmaster, felt his blade start to tremble uncontrollably in his grip, nearly flying from his hand!

“Die.”

Julius Reed flicked his wrist!

The longsword reversed its direction, flying back to decapitate the elder.

The Micah Will martial artists widened their eyes, too stunned to say a word.

Thud!

A headless corpse collapsed to the ground.

The crystal hall fell silent.

“To speak to the Golden Enforcer in such a way, it seems Micah Will no longer wishes to exist?” Julius Reed raised his head and chuckled softly, “Shall I annihilate your entire faction today, then?”

“Arrogant!” Osvaldo’s face turned green with fury as he glanced toward Silas.

Receiving permission from the Vein Holder, he drew the longsword at his waist and spoke coldly, “Since the Golden Enforcer does not know his place, don’t blame us for being merciless.”

This was the perfect opportunity!

A chance to eliminate the Young Family—and the Golden Enforcer!

As for the matter with Jace Will, it could be set aside for now.

“Although you didn’t kill my son, I still want you dead.” Silas smiled toward Julius Reed: “Apologies, but this is the end for you.”

As his words fell, the Micah Will warriors simultaneously unsheathed their weapons!

A horde of experts, their eyes gleaming with malice!

In the crystal hall, there were only Julius Reed, Gabriel Young, and two Young Family martial artists.

Ambrose Young had vanished at some point.

In terms of numbers, the Young Family was at a complete disadvantage.

It was utter domination.

“You dare mock me?” Jace laughed wildly and said as though watching a show, “Unexpected, isn’t it? In the end, you’ll die at the hands of Micah Will!”

His laughter grew more delighted.

“No matter how calculated you are, in the face of absolute power—what use is there?”

The situation seemed completely out of control.

Micah Will had unleashed their elite forces, their collective power staggering.

Even Gabriel Young’s face showed a hint of worry.

She turned her head, unable to perceive Julius Reed’s expression beneath his veil.

But Gabriel sensed his calmness and composure.

It wasn’t an act.

“Let’s make a bet.” Julius Reed sat back down in his chair, lifted his teacup, and took a leisurely sip as though unfazed by the precarious situation he was in.

“I say you lose today—and you’ll lose miserably.”

“What a joke!” Silas laughed heartily, turned around, and saw that no reinforcements were behind him. “How could I possibly lose?”

“Vein Holder, they’re stalling!” Osvaldo whispered urgently on the side: “Strike quickly!”

“Ah! I almost fell for it!” Flynn Will slapped his forehead in realization: “Enough theatrics—kill him!”

Swoosh!

A Micah Will elder drew his sword and dashed forward, reaching Julius Reed in just three strides!

Yet.

Julius Reed ignored him entirely, continuing to sip his tea.

Gabriel Young’s heart skipped a beat, her hands readying for action!

Even if it meant exposing herself as a Grandmaster, she couldn’t let him die!

The elder’s blade descended!

Julius Reed still remained indifferent, savoring his tea.

Ten centimeters!

Just ten more centimeters!

The blade would decapitate the Golden Enforcer!

Many among Micah Will already flashed victorious smiles.

How effortless it all seemed!

They had anticipated a fierce battle, yet it appeared the matter would be resolved easily.

Swish!

Suddenly!

A streak of silver flashed!

Splurch!

A spear pierced through the elder’s chest!

“Ugh…” The elder shuddered, looking down at his chest.

Blood gushed out.

Thud!

The elder collapsed.

His death was full of disbelief.

Clatter.

Julius Reed set down his teacup, lifting his gaze toward Silas: “So? How does this feel?”

“Who!”

Everyone from Micah Will turned around!

Looking behind them!

Whoosh!

A shadow swept past them, soaring above their heads before landing beside Julius Reed.

Slice!

The figure brandished a spear, standing in the center of the crystal hall.

“Andrew?”

Silas exclaimed in shock upon recognizing the newcomer: “Why are you here?”

“To kill you.” Andrew gripped his silver spear in one hand, his expression ice-cold.

Clad in white, with a silver spear, he resembled a War God!

“Look!”

At that moment, someone cried out again.

Outside the crystal hall.

A crowd stood assembled.

“The chief steward?” Silas was further shocked.

In the courtyard of the Young Family, several key Pendleton stewards and their elite forces had gathered.

“Silas. Such audacity, daring to conspire with Pearl against the master?” A rotund middle-aged man stepped forward, his face livid with anger: “If we don’t kill you, where will Pendleton’s honor be?”

“Indeed.” A thin man in black stepped forward beside him, gently stroking his mustache and sneering, “You will be first to die, followed by Pearl.”

Silas was stupefied.

When had he offended Pendleton?

Lately, he had been actively currying favor with Pendleton and the Imperial Vein, attempting to straddle both factions.

“Andrew, attack.” The rotund man had barely finished speaking when Andrew lunged like a panther!

The spear struck!

Splurch!

Mist-like blood sprayed forth, and the closest Micah Will elites fell to the ground.

Andrew’s spear danced like a dragon, each thrust claiming a life!

“Protect the Vein Holder!” Osvaldo roared, turning to Silas: “Go now!”

As a Micah Will elder, he was well-aware of Andrew’s prowess!

Pendleton’s foremost War God title was well-earned!

“Don’t let him escape!” The thin man in black sneered coldly: “Use his head to honor the Alliance Hierarch!”

“I… It’s a misunderstanding!” Silas tried to explain, but Andrew granted him no chance to speak!

Pendleton elites and Andrew launched a pincer attack, clashing violently with the Micah Will warriors!

“If you don’t leave now, there really won’t be another opportunity!” Watching the Micah Will forces fall one by one, Osvaldo grabbed Silas by the arm: “If you stay, who will avenge our brothers!”

“But…” Silas clenched his fists and picked up a blade, charging directly at Julius Reed!

Leaving, he could do.

But before leaving, this man had to die!
