Chapter 1448: Chapter 1448: To Stop at the Right Moment

“Are you messing with me?”

Ambrose Young was initially stunned, but then burst into laughter, “Brother, I don’t have time to fool around with you.”

After saying that, he turned and headed home.

The outside world was dangerous, and Ambrose cherished his life greatly.

After all, the vast family estate was waiting for him to inherit.

Want someone?

Talk to his wild father about it.

“Hold it!” Jace Will’s smile gradually disappeared from his face.

“Stop right there!”

Before he could step forward, the Young Family Grandmaster blocked the two of them: “Please leave!”

“How dare you!”

Swish!

A strong fighter beside Jace Will stepped forward, his entire body turning into a blur!

“Watch out!” Julius Reed had just shouted a reminder when the Micah Will fighter had already thrown a punch!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In the blink of an eye, eighteen punches rained down like shooting stars!

The Young Family Grandmaster staggered backward repeatedly, his face turning the color of pig’s liver.

Thud!

Before he could catch his breath, the Micah Will fighter smashed down another punch!

It was too fast!

So fast that the Young Family Grandmaster didn’t even have time to react!

Seeing the fist come down like Mount Tai crashing down, he could only raise both hands to try and block it!

The best outcome would be sacrificing both arms to save his life!

Despair!

The Young Family Grandmaster had never felt such despair!

His opponent was too powerful!

Bang!

But suddenly!

A fist emerged in the air!

It collided with the Micah Will fighter!

“Looking for a fight?” Julius Reed landed in front of the Young Family Grandmaster, staring at the Micah Will fighter he’d just knocked back: “I’ll be your opponent.”

“It’s just a spar.” Silas Will’s lips trembled slightly, his hands clasped behind his back.

Crack!

He twisted forcefully, setting his misaligned bone back into place.

It hurt!

But he couldn’t show it.

“Master, this isn’t like you.” Jace Will also looked a bit puzzled.

When someone provoked Silas, he would usually beat them until they begged for mercy.

Why was he acting so unusual today?

“Business first.” Silas let out an awkward chuckle and said seriously, “When the time comes, I will definitely spar with you.”

A single punch had managed to knock him back.

Silas was inwardly shaken, but he couldn’t let it show.

The Young Family—when did they get such a formidable expert?

When he returned, he was definitely going to kill the Micah Will disciple in charge of intelligence.

Such negligence!

“Levi Young, I’m serious.” Jace Will didn’t think too much about it; right now, he only wanted to deal with his little brother.

“A reason.” Julius Reed turned around, lightly touched the Young Family Grandmaster’s chest with both hands, then nodded: “Rest up, it’s nothing serious.”

“Thank you.” The Young Family Grandmaster quickly bowed in gratitude.

He knew very well that if this man from the Young Family hadn’t stepped in, he might already be crippled.

“And you are…?” Jace Will pulled out a pair of black sunglasses from his pocket. Putting them on, he shoved both hands into his pockets, making no attempt to conceal his arrogance: “There are some matters I don’t like anybody meddling in.”

The Seven Veins were powerful.

Especially the Micah Will vein, a lineage that spanned the lands, thriving far more robustly than many sects.

“This man is my father, someone even my mother listens to.” Ambrose Young’s brow furrowed slightly: “Please show some respect to your elders. Your matter can only be decided by my father.”

“What?” Jace Will lightly pressed down his sunglasses, looking over the rim at the man in black standing before him, somewhat incredulous: “Your father?”

“Indeed!” Ambrose Young’s face was full of pride.

Over time, he’d come to realize just how wise his mother had been back then!

“Ambrose Young, wasn’t your dad dead?” Jace Will had done some research on the Young Family before coming.

As the eldest son, he’d long assisted his father in managing the internal affairs of Micah Will’s lineage.

As far as the Young Family’s profile went, it clearly described a widowed mother and orphaned child.

Where had Ambrose Young’s father suddenly come from?

“For real.” Ambrose Young sneered, “Who jokes about things like this? The dead one is my biological father. This one here? He’s my stepfather.”

“Is that the case?” Jace Will looked at Julius Reed.

Such major news, yet Micah Will’s intelligence had no word of it.

When he returned, he was absolutely going to execute whoever was in charge of intelligence.

Negligence!

This was gross incompetence!

“Speak.” Julius Reed didn’t want to acknowledge such trivialities. If there’s an issue, say it directly—was prying into identity even necessary?

In terms of station, among everyone present, who really had the qualifications? Let’s be honest.

Micah Will?

They might not even qualify to clean his toilets.

“Ah, my apologies.” Jace Will removed his sunglasses, hesitated briefly, then extended his hand to Julius Reed: “May we speak inside?”

Having said that, he began heading for the Young Family’s mansion doors.

“No!” Julius Reed’s words had scarcely fallen when Jace Will nearly tripped and fell!

He genuinely wasn’t being let in?

They were all people of status. Didn’t they know how to show some courtesy?

Used to social pleasantries and fake niceties, Jace Will felt a little off encountering someone so straightforward and unyielding.

“Please mind your tone with the Young Family heir,” Silas Will said gravely.

Jace Will was Micah Will’s eldest son, second only to the central authority of the lineage.

And now, he wasn’t even being let through the door?

“Looking for a fight?” Julius Reed rolled up his sleeves, walking toward Silas Will.

“Ah, if it weren’t for fear of disrupting the Young Family heir’s business, I’d certainly duel you for three hundred rounds!” Silas Will was visibly reluctant.

At his level, fancy techniques had long ceased to matter.

A true battle between Great Grandmasters was real and primal—blow for blow, fist to flesh.

That earlier punch still had his wrist tingling slightly.

“It’s fine.” Jace Will, despite claiming otherwise, was clearly irritated.

How could the dignified eldest son of Micah Will be treated like this?

Luckily, Silas was there to vent his frustration and teach the Young Family a lesson early on!

“Master, focus on the task at hand.” Silas Will trembled inwardly, quickly advised, “We’re pressed for time.”

He really didn’t want to fight!

It would be a tough battle!

Worst-case scenario, he would get beaten.

“Master, your thoughtfulness for me as your pupil… there’s no way I wouldn’t give you a chance to shine!” Jace Will was genuinely touched.

His master had always been one to repay grievances harshly, yet today he suppressed his anger for him.

“Let’s call it off.” Silas Will’s scalp prickled!

“Please!” Jace Will stepped back, giving the space to Julius Reed and Silas Will.

“Make it quick.” Silas Will cursed internally, forcing himself to accept the duel.

“Just one move?”

As Julius Reed spoke, his entire body shot forward like a hunting leopard!

Boom!

In midair!

The two clashed head-on!

Each landed back on the ground.

“Impressive.” Julius Reed nodded, sizing up Jace Will: “Speak—why do you want to kill Kamden Will?”

“Some people want to support Kamden Will’s rise.” Jace Will was deeply shocked—this masked man could actually withstand a single strike from his master?

When he returned, he was absolutely going to execute the intelligence leads!

Dismembered beyond recognition!

Neglect!

“Speak inside.” Julius Reed found the reason convincing. “From the front gate to the living room, it’s a ten-minute walk. I hope you can convince me within ten minutes with an irresistible reason—one that makes me willing to offend Micah Will just to help you kill.”

After saying this, he strode toward the courtyard with Ambrose Young.

“Master, let’s head in.” Jace Will turned to look at Silas Will.

“Go ahead, I’ll keep watch and see if anyone follows us.” Silas Will whispered.

“Alright!” Jace Will didn’t doubt anything and quickly walked in.

Once no one was around, Silas Will grimaced from the pain!

Both arms—completely dislocated!

He examined himself for a moment, then leaned against the Young Family mansion wall, rubbing his shoulders forcefully.

The posture looked strange—almost… vulgar.

Crack!

Finally, the bones snapped back into place.

“Whew!”

Silas Will was filled with lingering fear.

Suddenly he turned fiercely!

Only to find an elderly woman staring straight at him.

“Pervert! Can’t even leave a wall alone!” The lady tossed a rotten egg at him!

Silas Will caught it in his hand and squeezed hard!

Crack!

The rotten egg splattered all over his face.
