Chapter 1442: Chapter 1442: The Immortal Taoist

Mystic flames can incinerate everything in the world.

But when they encountered the kasaya, they flared briefly and then disappeared without a trace.

Meanwhile, several Buddha Beads had already arrived close behind!

Driven by the Seven Star Arhat, the beads shot forth like bullets, carrying immense energy as they targeted Julius Reed’s body.

“Hiss…”

Julius Reed took a deep breath, his hands reaching forward!

Dominance gives birth to myriad paths, capable of evolving into any form of Dao!

At this moment, he used dominance to activate the Path of Weaponry.

Drawing upon the surging, torrential Evil Qi within his body, he halted the oncoming beads in mid-air!

The kasaya was suddenly ripped apart as the Seven Star Arhat’s fists, driven by the wind, roared toward him!

Bang!

Julius Reed transformed his palms into fists, colliding heavily with the Arhat!

“Fine technique! No wonder you’re the North Sea King; even my West Sea treasure, the Purple Gold Kasaya, couldn’t subdue you!” The Seven Star Arhat reached out with his right hand, and the scattered beads returned to his wrist.

It was as if an invisible thread had strung them together.

“Ow!”

When the Purple Gold Kasaya landed on the Seven Star Arhat, he leapt as if electrified!

The kasaya was immediately thrown away again.

It was scorching!

Burning hot!

The Seven Star Arhat could even smell the scent of roasted flesh.

For a brief moment, his skin felt as though it had been pressed against a grill.

Before the kasaya hit the ground, the Arhat unleashed a fierce palm strike!

The whistling wind reduced the kasaya’s temperature slightly.

“An impressive technique. If not for the fire-resistant Purple Gold Kasaya, it would have already been reduced to ashes by your flames.” After draping the kasaya back over his shoulders, the Seven Star Arhat’s gaze toward Julius Reed involuntarily shifted.

The Purple Gold Kasaya, one of the treasures of the West Sea!

Years ago, before the West Sea deity’s cultivation reached its peak, the deity had relied on this impenetrable kasaya to survive dozens of life-and-death encounters.

Made from a special material and forged over decades, it was resistant to both fire and bullets.

Just moments ago, the extreme heat made the Seven Star Arhat realize that this was no ordinary flame.

Otherwise, the flames would have been extinguished upon touching the kasaya, incapable of raising its temperature to such heights.

“I’m just loosening up,” Julius Reed stretched lazily, speaking leisurely, “But that kasaya of yours, not bad—it’ll soon be mine.”

Very few things can resist being burned by mystic flames.

It qualifies as a treasure.

And being a treasure, it naturally belongs to him.

“You can have the kasaya, but you’ll need to exchange your life for it.” The Seven Star Arhat no longer concealed his towering killing intent; if he could slay the North Sea Emperor, his eyes nearly burned with flames!

“He is formidable. Are you sure you don’t need my assistance?” The Iron Sword Taoist spoke again.

“You rogue Taoist, don’t think about stealing my glory!”

Swoosh!

Once again, the Purple Gold Kasaya flew off the Seven Star Arhat’s shoulders!

Simultaneously, his figure turned into a blur!

With his right palm shaped like a blade, he fiercely slammed down!

Slice!

Julius Reed drew his sword!

On the pitch-black street, azure flames flared up instantly.

Unlike the mystic flames that detonated like projectiles, the flames on Hell’s Sword were sustained by a continuous flow of Evil Qi!

After slaying Shay Bread, the Evil Qi had been replenished significantly.

And now, with Julius Reed’s killing intent reignited, vast amounts of Evil Qi surged into his body!

Boom!

One sword strike!

The Purple Gold Kasaya quivered violently in mid-air, pausing between the two combatants.

Julius Reed stepped forward, thrusting his longsword again!

Boom!

With a fierce tremor, one of the Seven Star Arhat’s fingers was severed, and the mystic flames on Hell’s Sword were briefly scattered by his palm strike!

Yet within less than a second, the flames roared back to life!

“Damn it!” The Seven Star Arhat gazed at the charred wound on his finger, lightly shaking his right hand.

Swoosh!

Several Buddha Beads hovered mid-air, jumping incessantly.

“Chasing Soul Beads! North Sea King, let me show you their might!” Without hesitation, the Seven Star Arhat flicked a finger!

A Buddha Bead shot forth like a bullet from a chamber!

Whoosh!

Julius Reed leapt upward!

The bead grazed his shoe sole, slamming into the wall behind him!

Boom!

The wall, over two meters tall and half a meter thick, was blown into fragments!

“Here comes another!”

Swish!

Another bead!

Julius Reed swung his longsword in a wide arc, powerfully striking the bead!

Boom!

A loud explosion followed, and the ground beneath Julius’s feet splintered into a deep pit!

The Chasing Soul Beads!

Treasures of the West Sea!

A set of twelve beads, each carrying immense destructive power!

“How does this taste?” Seeing his opponent tire from avoiding the bead strikes, the Seven Star Arhat regained a shred of dignity.

Swoosh!

As his words faded, three beads flew out simultaneously!

Under the overwhelming pressure, Julius Reed detached the Divine Dragon Tripod at his waist and hurled it fiercely!

Clang!

The three beads were instantly absorbed into the tripod.

The mystic flames hidden at the base of the tripod flared to life!

Boom!

With a deafening explosion, the Divine Dragon Tripod disintegrated into fragments.

Caught off guard, the Seven Star Arhat was blasted backward by the shockwave!

The remaining Chasing Soul Beads fell powerless to the ground.

Julius Reed strode forward, grasping in mid-air with his right hand!

The shattered Divine Dragon Tripod miraculously reassembled, landing in his palm!

Without hesitation, he swung his sword downward!

Clang!

The Seven Star Arhat rolled to the side. The kasaya in front of him collided with the blade, sparing his life!

“What is that thing?” After catching his breath temporarily, the Seven Star Arhat stared fixedly at the Divine Dragon Tripod in Julius’s hand.

The dark, unassuming object had managed to counter the Chasing Soul Beads!

“A cremation furnace. I’ll use this to send you off shortly.” Julius Reed fastened the tripod to his waist and dashed forward with his sword!

The blade gleamed like a fire dragon, tearing through the darkness before dawn!

Swoosh!

The Seven Star Arhat swung the Purple Gold Kasaya desperately for one final stand!

Bam!

But abruptly, Julius Reed halted his sword strike!

Instead, he delivered a swift kick to the kasaya!

Though the Seven Star Arhat was protected by the impervious kasaya, the immense shock drove him back several steps, fresh blood flowing incessantly from the corner of his mouth.

Beside him, the Iron Sword Taoist furrowed his brows and placed his hand on his sword hilt.

If necessary, he would intervene.

Such a gesture naturally did not escape Julius Reed’s eyes.

“Monk, still want to fight?” Julius Reed asked provocatively, his tone tinged with contempt.

“Fight!”

The Seven Star Arhat wrapped himself in the Purple Gold Kasaya and charged forward!

When within three meters of Julius Reed, he leapt into the air!

His fists slammed downward!

“Hoo!”

Julius Reed took a deep breath, and the Evil Qi within him surged explosively!

He raised his head, staring at the approaching fists, and unleashed a powerful punch!

Crack!

The Dragon King Ring flared with a burst of purple light!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The Seven Star Arhat staggered backward, gasping heavily.

“Iron Sword, help me!” He stared at Julius Reed in shock, his body trembling uncontrollably.

Both his arms were completely shattered.

With a single blow.

What kind of monster is this?

“Alright! I’ll help you.” As Julius Reed delivered that one punch, the Iron Sword Taoist had already made his decision.

“Take him on. He’s already drained a lot of energy. Now you just need to—”

Slash!

A rusty longsword emerged from the Seven Star Arhat’s chest.

Blood, dripping steadily from the tip of the blade.

The Purple Gold Kasaya protected him in front.

But behind him was completely exposed.

“You…” The Seven Star Arhat turned with all his might, staring at the Iron Sword Taoist in disbelief.

“Sorry, better you than me.” The Iron Sword Taoist flicked his sword, killing the Seven Star Arhat outright.

“North Sea King!”

Clang!

The Iron Sword Taoist dropped his weapon, kneeling on one knee. “East Sea does not wish to meddle in this conflict. I beseech Your Majesty to show mercy.”

“Leave.”

Julius Reed waved his hand.

“Thank you, Your Majesty!” The Iron Sword Taoist picked up his sword and quickly disappeared into the night.

After he left, Julius Reed retrieved the camera strapped to his chest and slid across the phone screen.

A complete video of the Iron Sword Taoist killing the Seven Star Arhat was saved.

“Interesting.” Julius Reed sent the video to Gabriel Abernathy, then pocketed his phone and picked up the bloodstained Purple Gold Kasaya lying on the ground.
