Chapter 402 - 402 192 Knight Order Establishment_2

402: Chapter 192 Knight Order Establishment_2 402: Chapter 192 Knight Order Establishment_2 The current purpose of the organization is to defend and govern the territory and its people, establishing and maintaining order.

The initial structure is not complex, after all, it was originally just to have a title to centralize the power to govern the territory of the three people, with the management still being the original team.

Referring to the existing frameworks of knight orders, the organization is simply divided into three layers.

The first layer is the six people who govern the knight order.

The Grand Master of the knight order, of course, is myself, as the core of the organization.

Azeryan serves as the “Knight Order Steward,” second only to the Grand Master, equivalent to the vice leader, overseeing finances, logistics, and most administrative affairs.

Lokhak holds the position of “Fortress Master,” the highest military officer besides the grand and vice leaders.

Kovis concurrently serves as the “Flag Officer,” “Veil Officer,” and possibly the “Herald Officer” internally among the knights, responsible for managing attire, etiquette, member review and records, and disciplinary supervision.

With trustworthy and capable personnel being scarce at the moment, Leon can only trouble his capable and smart little brother more.

Uncle Brian, after the military reorganization, will be promoted from the original Captain Selva to “Knight Commander,” continuing to be responsible for training soldiers and sergeants, and commanding front-line operations during wartime.

As for Olivia, Leon awarded his Golden Lion Knight with two high-ranking positions.

They are “Knight Champion” and “Knight Grand Tutor.”

At present, apart from Netti’s Heroic Spirit Galron who can’t even come out for a few seconds, Olivia is undoubtedly the strongest under him, thus deserving the “Champion” title.

Of course, if any knight within the order is dissatisfied with this, they can challenge the young lady in the arena, and if they defeat Olivia in martial arts, they can also take away the honor and treatment of the “Champion Knight.”

However, seeing that his wife’s martial prowess is growing stronger with maturity, Leon fears that this title will remain on the young lady for quite a long time.

As for the title of “Grand Tutor.”

Generally, the “Tutor” level within a knight order is taken by senior knights who train and instruct new members.

But since the organization is newly established, the only one who has truly taken part in teaching the members of the knight order so far is Olivia.

Thus, she is currently the sole and deserving Knight Tutor within the order.

Leon will continue to entrust the young lady to handle the old role of chief instructor, responsible for training all knight members in martial arts.

Below the six people, the second tier, the backbone of the organization, consists of other knight members who do not hold high-ranking positions.

Such as Zabron and Hawk, whom he plans to enfeoff on the day of the knight order’s founding, and other people like Sir Filipo who will join the organization.

This tier has no differences in status or title, and they refer to each other internally as “Knight Brothers.”

Lastly, the third layer of the knight order consists of sergeants who serve as ordinary grassroots soldiers and the attendants and servants of each knight member….

Recalling the internal code, military discipline, reward and punishment system, and promotion mechanism established during the founding of the knight order, Leon didn’t think there was anything missing.

He couldn’t help scratching his head and asked, “Dare I ask, chief steward, what exactly did I forget?”

Azeryan chuckled and said, “Of course, it’s the name.

We’ve even decided on the banner and emblem, but you still haven’t decided on a name for the knight order.

It can’t be nameless, can it?”

“Ah, indeed.” Leon straightened up and hit his palm, realizing he had forgotten such an important matter.

Leon immediately recalled all the knight order names he had heard in his past and present life.

The general naming methods are either based on the purpose of the knight order.

Or intuitively based on the emblem’s meaning.

Another method is to simply name it after the establishment location, station, or territory of the knight order, something like that.

He remembered that Princess Ines’s Sea Eagle Knights were named according to the emblem pattern.

Leon, referring to those examples, contemplated his own Sword Wings banner.

Simply calling it Sword Wings doesn’t sound good, and if translating the emblem which originally symbolized “Dark Angel” in his past life into the local Felu language to mean “Dark Divine Envoy,” it would be too weird.

Not only does it sound like some evil organization, but it also has no real origin or meaning.

It’s not like picking a surname for oneself where one can afford to play around randomly.

For a name representing an organization of hundreds or thousands in the future, Leon thought it should have real significance.

What about the Round Table Knights?

Leon again dismissed the idea.

In this world, without the King Arthur myth, the name “Round Table” is too rustic; who names a military and political organization after furniture?

After thinking it over, it still seemed simpler and more straightforward to name it after a place name, letting others immediately know their identity and origin upon hearing it.

“Let’s call it the Avalon Knights then, and ask for everyone’s opinion tonight,” Leon said.

He regretted a little for not naming the forest fortress Caliban.

Otherwise, naming it the Caliban Knights would have been a perfect homage to his past life preferences, would resonate with his current name, and practically symbolize the founding location, except for being a bit inauspicious.

It would have been a threefold excellence.

Fortunately, “Avalon Knights” sounds quite pleasing to the ear.

That night, after discussing with his companions, everyone didn’t have any better suggestions, and the name was decided upon.

The next day, Leon, along with Kovis as the Flag Officer, went to his storeroom to check the cloaks to be awarded to new members.
