Chapter 961: Chapter 949: Wielding a War Knife to Chop at Battleships, a Path Filled with Nuclear Explosions and Lightning Chapter 961: Chapter 949: Wielding a War Knife to Chop at Battleships, a Path Filled with Nuclear Explosions and Lightning “Hmm?” Muria sat inside a battleship provided by a certain member of the Earth Star Civilization’s parliament, originally coordinating the ground troops in preparation for a concluding war, when he looked up, his face showing a trace of great interest.

As he looked up, a light pillar even thicker than the one Shifanlin had fired came hurtling towards him at incredible speed from the distance, enveloping Shifanlin and the battleship behind him in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

The battleship, nearly three hundred meters long, didn’t even last a breath before it burst apart under the attack. Only tiny fragments of metal scattered in the void while the rest was annihilated by this horrifyingly powerful strike.

Even a battleship made of extremely durable alloys didn’t stand a chance under this attack; needless to say about the operators and pilots inside.

Most of the humans didn’t even have a chance to scream. They evaporated in a daze, their deaths eerily gentle, for they did not feel the slightest bit of pain.

This attack that seemed to destroy and obliterate everything lasted for nearly three minutes before it gradually subsided. Once it had faded, an intimidating presence slowly stretched its body out in the very path once filled with destruction.

“Master, are you alright?” Shifanlin, who had taken the brunt of this orbital strike head-on, turned his head to Muria, his face showing concern, though his current ghastly appearance might have frightened any mortals with weaker constitutions.

“I’m fine!” Muria, who stood behind Shifanlin, waved dismissively. When the attack composed of the seemingly pure Glorious Power had hit Shifanlin, he had immediately moved behind him. With such an excellent meat shield in place, it would have been foolish for him to take the hit himself.

“How do you feel?” Muria inquired, eyeing Shifanlin in front of him.

“Master, rest assured, I’m very well. Attacks like the one just now, no matter how many come my way, I can take them all!” Shifanlin patted his torn and blurring chest with a boom.

“Is that so!” Muria looked at the Legendary Hybrid Beast before him, feeling a tinge of pity, as it was looking extremely pitiful right now with the front layer of its skin and flesh erased by that terrible strike.

Of course, for a Legend, such wounds were nothing. In the time it took to exchange these few words, the flesh that had been dissolved away by the attack had already regenerated on Shifanlin’s body.

“Yes!” Shifanlin roared with confidence. His body, implanted with organs from various Legendary Creatures, was full of vigor. He didn’t dare guarantee anything else, but when it came to taking a beating, there were few beings of his level that could match him.

“Good, do you see those battleships behind you? Hold them off for a while,” Muria said, satisfied with Shifanlin’s response and then gesturing towards the swarm of battleships transitioning in from the Dark Void behind him.

“Don’t worry, master. I can not only hold them off, but with enough time, I can also blow them all up!” Following Muria’s guidance, Shifanlin saw the covering fleet of battleships, their numbers growing steadily.

However, his face showed not a trace of fear but a look of eagerness instead. He saw this as an excellent opportunity to demonstrate his worth to Muria.

“Then get to it now! Cause as much damage as you can. Even if you can’t hold on, it’s alright. I’ll bring reinforcements immediately!” Muria said.

“Yes!” Shifanlin, the vanguard officer now with Muria’s order to attack, turned into a streak of blue-green rainbow light, plunging fearlessly into the approaching hostile swarm of battleships.

“Go inform my army!” Watching his top enforcer charge into battle in this world, Muria released the eight Phantom Knights he had stored in the Semi Plane, instructing them to convey orders to the Yikong People’s army he had nurtured for a while.

“Is this the superpowered creature that has surpassed the Overlord level?” Behind the twisted wormhole, the Federation’s Speaker watched the footage transmitted from the foremost battleships, his expression one of confusion.

“Does this creature not have a brain? Who gave it the courage to face eighty-thousand battleships?”

“Your Excellency, perhaps this superpowered creature believes it is so mighty that it can single-handedly wipe out our Federation’s entire fleet,” someone suggested.

“Nonsense! No matter how strong the power level is, it’s still a living being. A living being will reach its limits. Fire tactical nuclear warheads at this creature; let him taste our wrath!”

“Your Excellency, which battleships should launch the nuclear missiles?”

“Every battleship that can hit him should launch nuclear missiles. Let’s show this monster the power of human intelligence, daring to underestimate us.”

“I must make sure Prince Muria sees my worth fully. Even though I, Shifanlin, can no longer continue cultivating and getting stronger, I am not waste. I can still be of help!” Shifanlin’s eyes gleamed with excitement as he stared at the mortal-made giant metal toys before him, instinctively feeling a sense of contempt for these things.

“I don’t need support, I can take apart all these large metal toys by myself!”

“Hey, these tiny guys actually took the initiative to attack me!” Shifanlin looked at the distant battleships as they launched missile after missile, trailing resplendent tails of fire.

Faced with these missiles, Shifanlin felt a sense of alarm, his body instinctively telling him that they posed a certain threat to him.

Clang! Clang!

Confronted by the threat, Shifanlin drew forth the twin curved swords specially crafted for him by the alchemists, then created an impenetrable net of slashes before him.

Mad as he may be, haughty as he may come across, when it came to real battle, there was no room for slack. Otherwise, if he were to stumble into a gutter, it would be immensely embarrassing to be injured by this bunch of mortals with their laughable attacks in front of Prince Muria.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Facing this first wave of nuclear attacks, Shifanlin, with his sharp battle instincts, detonated them in advance, creating miniature suns in the dark void, unleashing radiant light and heat before spreading intense shockwaves mixed with nuclear radiation.

When these shockwaves struck Shifanlin, he felt a barely perceptible stinging sensation before it faded away, leaving no feeling at all.

The nuclear radiation, which ordinary humans greatly feared, could only achieve this much upon contact with him. It was absolutely impossible for it to twist his bloodline or cause any abnormalities in his body. This level of radiation was far from enough.

Poom! Poom! Poom!

Blossoms of splendid fire ignited one after another in the dark void, not from prematurely detonated nuclear weapons this time, but from Shifanlin storming into the throngs of battleships, slashing his war knife and causing destruction.

The creations that embodied the pinnacle of human intelligence, when faced up close with a being like Shifanlin, who stood at the top of the food chain, were no different from toys.

Yet even toys could inflict harm on those who played with them! At such close range, fight after fight took off, carrying tactical nuclear missiles, to hammer upon Shifanlin’s form.

Due to the sheer numbers, even Shifanlin detonating some of the nuclear weapons with his sword light failed to prevent some missiles from reaching him and exploding.

Attacks capable of effortlessly wiping out an entire city, when landed upon him, did inflict some damage to his body, which he could heal in just a breath or two.

“What kind of monster is this? Nuclear weapons can’t even inflict real damage on him?”

Shifanlin, having charged into the fleet, showcased a terrifying level of attack power, defensive power, and regenerative ability that truly shook every human who witnessed this scene.

“Can we really defeat such a monster?” Some humans couldn’t help but show a look of dread upon seeing Shifanlin, undaunted after being hit by over a dozen nuclear bombs, still ferociously slicing through battleships.

“Of course, we can. Look closely, the nuclear bombs falling on his body can still damage his physique, which proves we have a chance to kill him!”

“But you also saw that every time the nuclear bombs caused him damage, he could heal it quickly!”

“Every act of healing drains some of his strength, that is unquestionably true. If we continue to blast him with nuclear bombs, we can definitely kill this beast!”

“How could it be possible to kill him when over 300 nuclear warheads have already landed on him, with a combined yield exceeding 300 million tons? Even then, they haven’t caused any truly effective damage, so even if we were to drop all of Earth Star Civilization’s nuclear weapons on him, it might not be enough to kill him!”

“So we have no choice but to resort to unconventional attacks. Fire the Star Destroying Cannon again!”

“Are you joking? Do you know how much damage firing the Star Destroying Cannon now will do to our soldiers?”

“If we don’t use such attacks, do you want to just wait for this monster to kill all of our soldiers? Should we sacrifice a small part to save the greater, or should everyone just wait for death?”

“Hmph, that attack requires time to prepare, and it needs the approval of Your Excellency, the Speaker himself.”

“I approve it!” The Federation Speaker, feeling a sense of powerlessness surge within him because of Shifanlin’s arrival, sighed as he overheard the arguing voices.

“It seems my decision to choose Shifanlin as the vanguard officer was correct!”

Beyond the World of Pandora, Prince Muria watched Shifanlin, with the war knife in hand slicing through battleships and leaving a trail of nuclear explosions and lightning, a look of satisfaction appeared on his face. He slightly bowed his head; below him, an army of Yi Kong People with characteristics of the stellar age was breaking through the World Barrier…
