Chapter 949 - 949 937 Devouring the Main Cannon

Chapter 949: Chapter 937: Devouring the Main Cannon Chapter 949: Chapter 937: Devouring the Main Cannon Upon realizing that Mesha had the ability to single-handedly withstand the main cannon of Earth Star’s conventional battleships, Muria immediately split off and followed another route, destroying the warships of the Earth Star humans.

However, during this process, Muria intentionally started to conceal his own figure, avoiding exposing his posture, to shroud himself in mystery.

Often, after saving the survivors of a tribe, the remaining Yikong People of that tribe didn’t even know what he looked like. They only saw golden light spreading over them like a blanket, then the battleship would fall, followed by the dissipation of the golden light.

This was intentional on Muria’s part, as he wanted to diminish his own presence and instead amplify the visibility of his mount and pet, Meow King, so that the Yikong People who survived this catastrophe would be extremely grateful to Dirty Meow King.

This gratitude felt after being saved could easily be converted into the most primitive form of faith and worship. Then, Mesha would possess the Power of Faith, and after a period of accumulation and sedimentation, Mesha could start preparing for deification.

When Mesha succeeded in becoming a deity, everything would change, and the rules of the whole world would be perfected in part by this event, which would be greatly beneficial for the world.

Indeed, the method of deification, a secret technique that is almost universally known among the legendary groups of the Erathia World, is something that the creatures of this world have not even touched the threshold of.

“The first deity, huh, Meow King, you really got yourself a great deal!” Muria chuckled to himself as he thought about the achievements he had planned for Mesha’s future.

For the creatures of this world, becoming a deity is probably the highest achievement, as with the resources of the Yikong World, they had no chance to transcend and become part of the Epics.

“Hmm?” While casually destroying one battleship after another as he walked through the sky, Muria looked up and saw a huge fireball falling from space toward the ground.

Streaks of Flames separated from the fireball and trailed a long wisp of flame behind it. The light emanated by the massive fireball made the sky in that region somewhat brighter.

“Tsk!” Just as Muria was about to exclaim, he frowned, rubbing the center of his brow, “No need to remind me, I’m not blind. I saw it, don’t worry, I’ll smash it.”

After speaking, the drumming sensation in his heart dissipated. It was the Divine Tree, or rather the World Will, reminding and urging him.

“This is really not treating me like an outsider!” Muria said, a bit helplessly, with a twist of his mouth. “Actually, it’s not necessary to make it this difficult. Just drop all restrictions and let my true self come out. I can easily solve all this for you!”

There was no change in the surrounding environment, nothing happened, and the rule constraints that bound the true self sleeping in the heart of the Reincarnated Body remained. Evidently, the World Will regarded his words as air and simply didn’t bother to pay him any attention.

“Tsk! What a hassle!” Muria said with a twist of his mouth, then reached down with his hand and grabbed at the air. A broken, withered branch rose into the air, shedding its wood chips as it flew, and by the time the withered branch landed in Muria’s hand, it had transformed into a Long Spear over six Meters in length.

Crackle and pop!

As Muria held the Long Spear crafted from the withered wood, which had undergone a special transformation due to his blood, the Glorious Power surged into the spear, enveloping it and turning it into a spear of light, circled by Golden Thunder Snakes.

Having prepared his throwing Weapon, Muria looked up at the increasingly large fireball falling from the heavens. Holding the Thunderbolt Cat, he made a few gestures toward the fireball and then flung the spear upwards with a sweep of his arm.

Boom and rumble———

A golden Rainbow soared into the sky, the enormous kinetic energy cleaving through the atmosphere with an overbearing posture, creating a distinctly visible vacuum corridor of vapor in the sky!

“Warning: detection of a superpowered creature attacking from below, the creature has hurled a Long Spear!”

This warning, which would have sounded laughable before discovering Pandora World, echoed in the command center of the Glory-Class Flagship. Yet, at this time, not a soul on the flagship felt like laughing; their eyes were serious, even anxious, as they watched the Glow Spear shoot up rapidly from below.

“Activate the defense systems to their maximum, don’t be stingy or conservative!”

Watching the Long Spear shooting up from below, General William paled slightly, then yelled at the crew. He had never imagined he would suffer an attack of this magnitude in a Primitive world.

“Report, General. All defenses of the Glory Battleship are now running at full power, over capacity!”

“Turn on the main cannon’s locking mechanism. After the battleship withstands this attack, immediately open fire with the main cannon and blast this Monster away!”

Boom!

Just as General William was considering counterattacking or even annihilating Muria, the Long Spear thrown by Muria struck the outer energy shield of the Glory Battleship.

Time seemed to stand still as the golden Long Spear hit the outer energy shield of the Glory Battleship, and after a standoff of a second or two, visible white shockwaves spread out in all directions, scattering the clouds in the sky.

“We held the defense!”

Seeing that the long spear didn’t shatter the battleship’s energy shield instantly, some officers and soldiers couldn’t help cheering prematurely.

They believed that such kinetic weapons were usually most powerful upon first contact with the enemy, and if they could withstand the initial attack, the rest would be of little concern.

They forgot this was an extraordinary world, where their so-called common sense could lead them to make fatal mistakes. So, as they celebrated, the six-meter-plus glow spear intensified in brightness, suddenly doubling in length, followed by a sharp shattering noise.

Bang!

The outermost energy shield of the Glory Battleship shattered, then the second layer, and the third. The might of the long spear, which increased in an instant, pierced through the three energy shields of the battleship and then struck the hull of the ship.

A violent explosion occurred, and the battleship, over twelve hundred meters long, shook violently under the impact, causing the officers in the command room to lose their balance and look very embarrassed.

“Damn it! If we weren’t in a landing state, the defense of the Glory Battleship definitely wouldn’t have been breached!” General William roared angrily on seeing the schematic of the damaged part of the battleship projected on the screen.

He believed that Muria’s attack had achieved such astonishing results entirely because it had caught them off guard, as their battleship was in rapid descent, unable to utilize many of its conventional offensive means.

Moreover, due to the force of the ship’s rapid descent and the power of the glow spear itself, the two forces overlapped and acted on the battleship’s defenses, resulting in such devastation.

“Has the main cannon’s weapon operating system been damaged? If not, lock onto the monster below and blast it away!”

“Report, General, you’re very lucky. Although the battleship has been pierced with a hole, the main cannon’s operating system is undamaged!” The seemingly congratulatory voice of the intelligence brain sounded.

“Lock onto it for me!”

“Beep! Target locked.”

“Prepare the main cannon to charge!”

“Main cannon energy charging, 1%, 2%… 17%… 56%… 87%!”

“Fire!” General William stared intensely at the screen in front of him. When the energy bar of the main cannon’s charge reached 100%, he clenched his fist and swung it down fiercely.

It seemed he wanted to release all the negative emotions he had endured recently with the firing of the main cannon, to hit the monster below with full force.

“Execute command: main cannon fire!”

Boom!

The battleship, hanging high in the sky and descending rapidly, fired its main cannon without regard to consequences, aiming at Muria who was standing in mid-air. A massive light pillar nearly ten meters in diameter descended from the sky, like an invisible giant thrusting his long sword.

“The main cannon of the Glory Battleship, one of the most powerful strategic weapons among public weapons of the Earth Star civilization!”

Muria looked up at the descending light pillar with composure on his face, showing not a trace of panic. He had sensed it the moment the battleship’s main cannon locked onto him.

His body was also frantically warning him; additionally, reminders from the Divine Tree resounded in his heart. All seemed to indicate that he could not withstand the Glory Battleship’s main cannon with his current body.

“Though you all think it’s impossible, I believe I can do it!” Muria extended his hand as the cannon fire neared his head, then spread his fingers upward.

One after another, God’s Patterns spilled from the palm of his hand, inscribed in the air, intertwining into an intricately mysterious circular pattern.

“My years of studying formations were not in vain!” Muria smiled slightly as he effortlessly crafted a twenty-meter diameter magic array with his hand, turning the tide against overwhelming force—a basic maneuver for a master of formations.

The moment Muria’s formation took shape in his hand, the main cannon of the Glory Battleship hit it directly, causing his magic array to rapidly expand. Simultaneously, the God’s Patterns comprising the formation grew incredibly radiant and blinding.

“It’s just an attack of pure energy without any will mixed into it. Do you really think you can kill me with this low-level attack that merely piles up energy? You’re practically feeding me resources!”

Through the formation in his hand, which forcibly devoured the attack from the main cannon, Muria looked up, revealing his blazingly bright golden pupils!
