Chapter 941 - 941 929 The True Self Unsealed

Chapter 941: Chapter 929: The True Self Unsealed Chapter 941: Chapter 929: The True Self Unsealed “Hmph!”

Muria felt a warm liquid flowing from his nostrils. He reached up to lightly wipe it away, then looked at his hand, where the thick, dark red blood presented itself before his eyes.

“How miserable!” It wasn’t just his nose, Muria felt the warm liquid seeping from the corners of his eyes and his ears as well. This was the price he paid for communicating with the World Will.

“But it’s worth it!” Although feeling that his body was nearing collapse, Muria’s lips still uncontrollably curled into a smile.

“Hahahaha!” Finally, Muria could no longer suppress his elated feelings and threw back his head in a hearty laugh. As he laughed, his true self, curled up and with eyes closed within his heart, slowly opened its eyes, its lips also curving slightly upwards.

Following that, a drop of golden blood slowly emerged from the center of Muria’s true self’s forehead, bursting forth with radiant light. This single drop of blood then shattered into millions of strands of golden luminescence, shooting outward.

At the same time, changes appeared in Muria’s reincarnated Yi Kong body with its black hair and blue skin. One after another, God’s Patterns lit up on his skin, but as they shone, the gold began to spread from his chest, overtaking these pure white patterns.

His black eyes also began to change, slowly transforming from pitch-black to golden vertical pupils, and an aura of substantial authority radiated from him.

Simultaneously, his body underwent changes. His bones grew, extended, and strengthened, while his muscles kept growing, bursting from the intense power within, and then healed and grew once again.

This time, Muria experienced the feeling of his subordinates who had received his blood; the increase in power was incredibly pleasurable, but the fundamental transformation of his body brought with it endless pain.

In a nutshell, it was agony mixed with joy. After a simple exchange with the World Will, some of the restrictions on Muria’s true self were lifted, allowing him to exert a fraction of his power to influence the world.

Muria chose to integrate a drop of his true self’s blood into his reincarnated body, to enhance its foundation and endow it with greater strength.

Boom!

A golden rainbow burst forth from the location of the Divine Tree at Yunjian Peak, reaching into the skies. The powerful presence stirred the clouds from all directions, and a shocking pressure spread from the Divine Tree across Yunjian Peak.

All the powerful creatures living on Yunjian Peak, especially the Yi Kong People, were startled, displaying frenzied behavior. Anyone who could move rushed crazily toward the Divine Tree.

Then, the Yi Kong People who reached the Divine Tree saw a sacred figure enshrouded in golden light standing above the tree, with a great golden wheel slowly spinning behind him.

The imposing pressure that covered the entire Yunjian Peak and made all the creatures want to prostrate themselves came flooding from him.

All the Yi Kong People looked up uncertainly at this being, unsure of what to do, as they saw the Divine Tree, which they revered as the ultimate, resonating with this being. Streams of power that King Uhl had named ‘Glorious Power’ flowed continuously from the Divine Tree into the being, increasing his strength further.

At that moment, a purple-black Giant Beast flapped its wings, leading its Guards from a nearby massive palace, and then gazed fixedly at the golden figure suspended in midair. After observing for a short while, its eyes manifested a very human-like expression of surprise and uncertainty.

Meow!

Mesha, affected by the pressure emanating from this being, felt incredibly unfamiliar yet oddly familiar with its presence, and thus, it let out a tentative meow.

“Dirty Meow King, you’ve arrived just in time!”

Muria, originally feeling extremely weak while communing with the Divine Tree, now felt as if his body was about to burst after integrating a drop of his true self’s blood.

In fact, his body was indeed about to explode. As the saying goes, what’s full will overflow; his body had limits and couldn’t withstand too much power.

Of course, the impending explosion wasn’t because he integrated his own blood—that level of power control was still within his grasp. He knew exactly how much power his body could maximally integrate.

But the problem was, while he was breaking through his limits, the Divine Tree beside him was far too enthusiastic, recklessly drawing Glorious Power from Yunjian Peak and funneling it into his body.

“Come over here quickly!” Seeing the Dirty Meow King, who had formed a Contract with him, coming over out of curiosity, Muria was overjoyed as he found an outlet for the excess power filling up his body.

But upon hearing Muria’s call, the Meow King didn’t approach; instead, it flapped its wings, subconsciously retreating, then turned to flee. It felt something was amiss.

“Really, disobedient!” Seeing the Dirty Meow King attempting to slip away, Muria was unceremoniously forceful. With a reach of his hand, the winds surrounding the Dirty Meow King collapsed instantly.

Thunder roared, countless bolts of lightning exploded beside Mesha, and then intertwined to form a chain that bound its body. Then it pulled its massive body toward Muria.

Meow!

Feeling the overpowering force exerted upon itself that it couldn’t resist, Mesha let out a slightly desperate wail, then, quite straightforwardly, its wings drooped and all four fell, in a manner that fully surrendered to its fate.

Crackle and pop!

An aberration occurred to the blue and white chains of thunder linking Muria and Mesha, and the source of this aberration was Muria himself, with Golden Thunder flashing on his body, then ferocious Golden Thunder Snakes carrying tremendous energy slithering along the chain of thunder toward Mesha.

In just the time it took for Mesha to reveal a fully frightened gaze, more than a dozen fierce Thunder Snakes had traveled from Muria onto its body, coiling and wrapping around it, then melting into its body.

Meow!

Agonizing roars of pain emitted from Mesha’s mouth, as these thunder snakes, carrying massive power, frantically transformed its body. A change similar to Muria’s began to manifest within it, golden patterns spreading over its purple-black skin, its dark eyes tainted with gold.

But due to its dragon-like form, its body underwent a mutation that was a step closer than Muria’s, as it expanded in size, black scales intermixed with golden patterns emerged one after another on its smooth skin.

On Mesha’s head, which had initially appeared somewhat cute and lacked any deterrence, two bumps emerged, growing larger and sharper, until two black horns pierced through the flesh, growing out of the top of Mesha’s head, blood streaming down.

Roar!

Forcing the growth of scales on the once-smooth skin, two horns emerged out of nowhere on the crown, these changes akin to a complete reshaping of the body caused Mesha endless pain.

These were just the changes apparent on the surface, the transformation happening inside was even more significant and harder to detect. Its skeleton was being forcefully twisted and changed by a domineering force, new bones growing upon the original skeleton.

The domineering force was also forcefully altering Mesha’s internal organs; new organs began to grow within its throat… It was transforming from a dragon-like creature into a true dragon.

Ang!

As its very life essence was being forcibly elevated, Mesha let out one roar after another, each more sonorous and resonant than the last, and its cries attracted its guards, those Shadow Demons.

However, similar to the Yikong People, when the Shadow Demons saw their king undergoing drastic changes, they too showed looks of confusion and helplessness.

Amidst their confusion, some Shadow Demons made a decision. They pounced forward, trying to break the chain of thunder connecting Mesha with Muria, to interrupt the king’s pain.

At this moment, already sensing that its voice had returned to its original form, and seemingly stronger and more intimidating than before, Mesha swung its now fully-scaled slender tail, swiping away those Shadow Demons attempting to disrupt its evolution.

Ang!

As if showing off, or perhaps as a warning, Mesha let out a roar at its guards who failed to comprehend the situation. The enhancement of power and increase in size were not important; what mattered was that its voice could revert, and its posture was becoming more majestic.

“What a pity, such a cute cry actually evolved away!” Hearing Meow King’s robust and passionate cry, Muria sighed with a touch of regret; to tell the truth, he quite liked that cry.

“King Uhl?”

When Muria finished merging with his own original blood and concluded the advancement, the onlooking Yikong People cautiously approached, then gazed at the somewhat familiar face, tentatively calling out.

“There’s no need for such surprise; I have become stronger with the help of the Divine Tree,” Muria said, telling the blatant truth, explaining his current form with the most authoritative presence, “This form is also due to the Divine Tree!”

“Great Mother Hade…”

Hearing Muria’s words, the Yikong People all knelt before the Divine Tree, almost as tall as Muria, faces filled with devotion and fervor.

“What are you worshipping it for? It merely lifted a small part of the restrictions on me!” murmured Muria, his towering five-meter tall frame with disheveled black hair and body adorned with golden totem patterns.
