Chapter 862 - 862 850 The Evil God Striving to be the Worlds
Chapter 862: Chapter 850: The Evil God Striving to be the World’s Guardian Chapter 862: Chapter 850: The Evil God Striving to be the World’s Guardian The ground shook and the mountains trembled as houses and buildings were destroyed in large swathes by the aftermath of the battle. Gaping fissures hundreds to thousands of meters long spread across the land, presenting a shocking sight.
Yet, this level of destruction was contained by the constraints of the Land Emperor Turtle, and if not for its restraint and suppression, bolstered by the strengthening of the battlefield, the extent of their destruction could have been amplified by dozens or even a hundredfold.
“Should I intervene a bit?” The Land Emperor Turtle mused silently as he watched the slightly unfavorable battle situation of Muria from the sidelines.
Although at first glance, Muria had split into eight avatars, fighting nine against three and seemingly having the upper hand in numbers, he, in fact, was at a disadvantage.
There was no helping it; he was still too young, his bloodline potential not yet fully unleashed, and this avatar wielded only thirty percent of his actual combat strength. Against an enemy like an Evil God’s avatar, he could only play a role in restraining them.
However, even though Muria was at a disadvantage, the Evil God still couldn’t suppress him. The attacks of the eight avatars might not have inflicted severe damage, but they still caused pain, as the objects carrying Muria’s avatars were his Exclusive Weapons.
“This is the battle I need!” Muria was extremely excited despite being at a disadvantage.
At his level, it was rare to find a being capable of battling him, apart from those of his own race. But fighting against his kin from the Titan Tribe meant he couldn’t fight to the death, and many lethal moves were held back due to considerations.
“Muria, you’re hogging the battle to yourself again!”
While Muria was eagerly clashing with the Evil God, a rainbow light tore through space and struck not far from him, followed by a Titan, slightly taller than him, emerging with a long spear in hand, riding atop a Giant Beast that emerged from the radiant light, akin to a rainbow.
This was a massive beast, resembling a horse, but with a head akin to a lion and a pair of large cyan and gold wings sprouting from its ribs. Its tail ended in a long chain blade, evidently possessing immense offensive capabilities.
This Ferocious Beast was one that Ansol, his Father, had subdued across all his medium-sized worlds. It was said to be one of the strongest Beast Kings, but Ansol chose it as his Mount due to its horse-like appearance and structure suitable for riding.
Muria heard that after the beast submitted to his Father, it received a flood of resources and was brought to the native world of Erathia for a baptism and enhancement by its laws. It had now become the strongest Beast King in the Barbaric World it inhabited.
Herutu!
Upon the arrival of the Beast King carrying Ansol, it let out a neigh similar to that of a horse, asserting its presence. Muria remembered when he first saw this beast, it did not have such a call but a very brutal roar.
But after hanging around in Senapus for a while and seeing the human inhabitants’ warhorses, it changed its form and snuck into a human settlement’s warhorse ground in Senapus. It spent a day there, learning the neigh of a horse to please his Father.
“Muria, you’ve been fighting for so long, it’s time to step aside!” Ansol, seeing Muria locked in fierce combat with the Evil God, said impatiently. In the Senapus Subcontinent, there were more willing fighters than opportunities.
There were far too many Titans eager to battle a deity; at least, that’s how Ansol saw it. In simple terms, every appearance of an Evil God’s avatar drew at least a double-digit number of Titans vying for the fight.
“Alright, our battle is over! My father is taking over; make a good showing of it!” Muria said calmly to the Evil God across from him upon hearing the urging from behind, then he ceased his battle and withdrew.
“You…” The Evil God felt profoundly insulted by such an occurrence, as if he was being passed around, a Titan fighting him, then another one stepping in.
“Muria, give me an hour’s notice to those guys!” As Ansol began to engage the Evil God, he didn’t forget to turn back and give Muria an instruction.
“They can’t be kept in the dark that long!” Muria sighed. All the Titans who had come to the Senapus Subcontinent were eager for battle; apart from his father, almost none stayed in Senapus but flocked to the battlegrounds on the Subcontinent, seeking an opportunity to fight the Evil God.
The vibrations of the battle here wouldn’t take long to be sensed by other Titans, who would then rush over. If they discovered the battle on their own, Muria could no longer charge them the information fee, which reached up to millions.
…
While the legendary Titans on Senapus relentlessly battled and suppressed the Evil God’s resistance, in the Temple of All Gods, a meeting hosted by a few powerful deities began.
“The Titan Tribe and the Blazing Sky Gods have engaged in battle again with the Dragon Race, this time uniting against a race that has tracked them from beyond the Void.
This race is mighty and is said to control a source power secret technique capable of altering the destiny of a race. The technique has been stolen by Yarista, the newly ascended Dragon King of the Metallic Dragon Clan, and now, this secret has been sold to the Titans and also to the Blazing Sky Gods.
Thus, these three great races are all resolutely set against being enemies with the otherworldly Epic Races, already warring on the fringes of the World Community.”
“According to my investigation, within those otherworldly Epics, a big figure has declared that he will destroy the Elasia World as retaliation.”
“So, our Elasia World is being dragged into their Epics’ troubles; can’t they be a bit more honest for once? Why must they always cause us problems? And this time it has even spread to us.”
“Alas, if only the Epics didn’t exist in the world, then where would all these troubles come from?” a Deity murmured softly within the Temple.
“Idiots, a Great World can exist without Gods, but absolutely cannot do without Epics.” Hearing such words, the Master of Dawn, Losanda, immediately spoke out to rebuke them.
“Get ready. Even though this war is being fended off from the World Community by the Titans and the Blazing Sky Gods, it is possible that an Exotic Epic will break through the defenses and rush over. When that time comes, it will be our turn to act. As Gods, it is our sacred duty to protect the world.”
“Indeed, protection is our duty as Gods, regardless of good or evil,” said the God of Justice, Tyr, whose words had barely finished when the God of Murder, Shirek, immediately spoke in agreement, catching the attention of many Deities with his words.
“If an Evil God invades, I will certainly lead the charge and slaughter them!” exclaimed the Demon God of Fear, assuming the stance of a world guardian.
However, such a posture did not surprise any Deity, for whether good or evil, chaotic or lawful, their essence remained that of Divinity, entities reliant on the world.
The power of Gods springs from the world, and their eternal life is relative to the creatures living upon it. Should the world collapse, they too would perish along with it.
Towards any Exotic Evil God approaching the Elasia World with malicious intent, all Gods bear the responsibility and obligation to strike them down, and moreover, vanquishing an Evil God would garner corresponding benefits.
“Boring actions. The war has already started, the battlefield lies beyond the World Community, but Evil Gods will infiltrate, making their way to our homeland. Stay here and discuss all you like, I’m going to patrol beyond the world!”
Hades, the newly powerful Deity, saw the bickering and discussion among the assembly of Gods, scoffed impatiently, and then his avatar vanished into thin air within the Temple of All Gods.
At the same time, in the Underworld teeming with endless Undead and ghosts, slight turbulence arose; then a mighty Deity in purple-black armor, wielding a long spear and riding a roaring war chariot pulled by four nightmares, charged out of his Divine Kingdom.
“Hehe, the newly ascended Majesty of the Netherworld is truly diligent. In that case, I shall take my leave for now!”
Seeing Hades commence his world patrol, the Demon God of Fear also chuckled, dispelling his avatar. His Divine Kingdom within the Abyss also trembled slightly as he left with his formidable Demon Legion to patrol outside the world.
…
“Titans, Blazing Sky Gods, and the Dragon Race! This World Community is indeed interesting, actually having birthed three races capable of nurturing Epics. It seems there are fine resources here. But since they have offended us, the Sky Demons, they no longer need to exist.”
Within the borders of the Elasia World Community, a mist as faint as dust gently drifts into the community, this mist releasing no fluctuations, remaining invisible, undetectable by any means.
“Now that they’ve spied on our clan’s secrets, natural destruction is the fitting punishment. But, there’s no need for a direct confrontation. Without the Sky Demon King taking action, slaughtering them would be unduly troublesome, and our Demon Race would have to pay a price.
It’s better to infiltrate their world silently, like I am doing, and directly sabotage the Mother World that nurtures them. This way, they will experience the utmost despair and pain.”
For a powerful Epic race, a high-ranking Great World is essential for producing outstanding offspring. If an Epic race lacks a foothold in a Great World, it has no future.”
