Chapter 838 - 838 826 A War That Must Be Won

Chapter 838: Chapter 826: A War That Must Be Won Chapter 838: Chapter 826: A War That Must Be Won Nocchio Subcontinent, the Royal Capital of the Lockman Kingdom

“Respected Queen of Lockman, Prince Mureya requests that you gather and integrate all the armies within your nation within thirty days. Through the Teleportation Array, enter into Xena Pus, and be ready to join the war at any moment.”

Standing in the main hall of the Royal Palace, a Storm Giant riding a Giant Peng delivered the summons with a respectful face to the loli queen with blue hair and red eyes seated on the Throne.

“I understand. Tell my brother that I will arrive on time.” The loli Queen, Lemilia, showed no signs of surprise upon hearing the summoning order.

Ever since attending that wedding, she frequently visited Xena Pus through the Teleportation Array to see Mureya, so she was already aware of Mureya’s intentions and had adjusted many policies in her own country. She had been prepared for this war for some time now, ready to support Mureya with the full might of her nation.

“White Dragon Queen Clodia…”

In the continent of Depluson, having become the true Queen of the Northland and known as the White Dragon Queen, Clodia quietly watched the Storm Giant below reading out the commands from Xena Pus.

“Hmm, I understand. When the time comes, I will bring my legion and arrive on time,” responded the White Dragon Queen Clodia in an even tone, before returning her indifferent gaze to the departing Storm Giant just as she had when he arrived.

“You’ve holed up for so long, and now you can’t bear it anymore?” The white dragon perched on the Ice Throne lifted its head to the sky, its golden Dragon’s Eyes shimmering with radiant light, emanating an authority unbearable for ordinary dragons.

“Frost Giant Kingdom, Frost Fang, Frost Feather…” Still in the continent of Depluson, a Storm Giant riding a Giant Peng arrived at the imposing Frost Giant Kingdom, entering the Royal city and presenting orders to the council ruling the Frost Giant Kingdom.

It turned out that the barbaric Frost Giant Tribe had, under Mureya’s orders and forceful promotion, established the Frost Giant Kingdom. However, this kingdom did not have a true king but was ruled by a council system instead.

The members of the council were the chieftains of the original barbaric Frost Giant Tribe, and the rulers remained the same. It seemed as though nothing had changed, but the benefits of establishing a kingdom and forming a council were self-evident.

Firstly, the internal friction among the Frost Giants had greatly reduced, plummeting drastically, with no more large-scale giant wars, only small-scale brawls over personal grievances. The power of the Frost Giants on this continent had consolidated in a way previously unimaginable.

In the same vein, the council system also had significant drawbacks. Whenever a matter where to be decided by the council, it would fall into lengthy disputes, with extremely low administrative efficiency, making it almost impossible to accomplish anything.

However, regardless of their bickering, when Mureya’s summons lay before them, almost no Frost Giant dared to voice any objections, nor did anyone intentionally drag their feet.

They knew that anyone who dared delay commands from Xena Pus for their personal gain had better be ready to quench the wrath of the Lord of Xena Pus with their blood and heads. He would not tolerate anyone dragging him down.

Obistro Subcontinent, deep within the Undead Dungeon

“Undead Captain Barbossa, I bring greetings from Prince Mureya,” said a Storm Giant clad in Skeleton Armor, standing on a semi-transparent Ghost Ship and addressing the Great Lich on the skeleton throne.

“Heh heh, save the flattery. Tell me, what did that Mureya guy send you here for?” Barbossa’s Soul Sound carried a mocking tone.

“His Majesty is preparing for war against Evil God’s Paradise. He is asking you about the map of Senapus Subcontinent you were commissioned to explore and draw,” replied the Storm Giant.

“A war on Evil God’s Paradise is commencing now, tsk, so soon. As for the map, I’ve finished ninety percent of it, but there is still a small part left incomplete.”

“Lord Barbossa, His Majesty commissioned you to draw the map one hundred and eighty years ago, but until today, when he needs it, you still have not finished it. Do not forget, you manage so many resources within the Undead Dungeon relying on whom?”

“Don’t question me. You all know Senapus Subcontinent to be the Evil God’s Paradise; you should know how many avatars of evil gods are roaming there.”

Upon hearing the Storm Giant daring to question him, the Soul Fire in Barbossa’s skull swelled, greatly offended by the presumption of a non-legendary Storm Giant speaking to him in such a manner.

“Do you know how much power I’ve lost in Senapus Subcontinent over these years?”

“Giant, remember this: I am not a subordinate to Mureya’s brat. If you dare to use that tone with me again, I wouldn’t mind turning you into a Skeletal Giant. With your size, a Skeletal Giant placed here would be quite pleasing to the eye.”

“You want to turn me into an Undead Giant? If you have the courage, come and try! Let’s see if you now can withstand His Majesty’s fury,” countered the Storm Giant, unafraid, knowing that if Mureya had chosen him to negotiate with a legendary Lich, he must be extraordinary.

“Are you threatening me? Do you really think Mureya would go against me for the sake of a Storm Giant who has yet to reach legend?”

“You are more than welcome to try! After all, I am not a legend, and I cannot withstand your mighty power,” the blue-skinned Storm Giant retorted, his expression fearless.

“Hmph!” Barbossa snorted coldly and with a casual wave of his hand, expelled the Storm Giant from his Ghost Ship. Only if he were out of his mind would he lay a hand on him.

“Tell Muria that I will perfect the map in the upcoming time. There won’t be any delay in his affairs. The area I have detected is already large enough for his battles.”

The Storm Giant, now submerged in the Dead Sea Water, was slightly startled before realizing that a scroll had appeared in his arms without his awareness. Undoubtedly, this was the map mapped out by Barbossa.

In the endless ocean between the Roghagen Subcontinent and the Obistro Subcontinent, within the Naga Kingdom, the Storm Giant riding a Giant Peng appeared. Then, riding the Giant Peng, it transformed into a rainbow light and plunged into the sea, ready to announce Muria’s orders to the Nagas.

Following Muria’s orders, these Nagas were to be responsible for annihilating all creatures in the sea area surrounding the Senapus Subcontinent that worship the Evil God.

Roghagen Subcontinent, Giant Dragon Peninsula, Red Dragon Duchy

“Red Dragon Country, Bernard, heed the call, you are commanded to assemble an army within a month…” The authoritative Storm Giant stood in the Royal Palace of the Red Dragon Duchy, reading Muria’s order to the Dragon Knight, Bernard.

“Your command shall be obeyed!”

“Hmm!”

After conveying the orders to the ruler of the Red Dragon Country, the Storm Giant immediately mounted the Giant Peng and soared into the sky, ready to cross the mountain range that separated the Evil Dragon Peninsula from the Continent. His primary mission was to deliver orders to the six dragons in the Guishuang Kingdom; the Red Dragon Knight was merely a stop along the way.

“Uh! Muria is finally ready to make a move on Evil God’s Paradise. Sigh, this is distressing. This time it’s our turn to bleed.”

Inside the Royal Court of the Guishuang Kingdom, a Red Dragon revealing his true form entered, sighing as he just had sent off the Storm Giant who came to deliver the orders.

“Isn’t this something that was bound to happen sooner or later? Muria leaned towards us with so many resources, helping us take control of the Guishuang Kingdom, wasn’t it so that we could deploy our legions to assist him at this time?”

A Blue Dragon, kissing a beauty while in humanoid form, raised its head indifferently and spoke.

“We’re not the ones heading to the battlefield, what’s there to fear? Besides, we need to stay in the Guishuang Kingdom and recruit legions for Muria.”

“If we summon too many legions, it will cause unrest within the nation. Those guys might become restless.”

“Heh, do you really think those Human Legends are fools? It’s been so long, and they’ve likely figured out our details already.

Otherwise, why do you think we’ve been able to occupy the Royal Court for so long, giving orders as we please? Don’t worry!

No matter how much we stir things up, those Human Legends will only cooperate with us and will not dare to drag us down.

However, if there are indeed some fools who do not know whether they’re alive or dead, then we’ll just have to join forces and kill them.”

“Don’t you want to participate in the war?”

“Why should we? Think about it, what is the nickname of that continent? It is the world’s Evil God’s own reserve land. If Muria wants to conquer that continent, the cost will be great; it is destined to become a massive meat grinder. With our level of strength, if we participate in this war, the chance of being killed is quite high.”

“What’s there to fear? We are directly under Muria’s command. Do you think Muria would send us to certain death if we go to war?”

“No.”

“And do you think Muria would lose this war?” The eyes of a green dragon shone with intelligent light. Why not participate in a war that is sure to be won?

“Very good!”

Muria, who had sent his giants to convey his orders, soon received confirmation. All the peripheral forces he had developed over the years assured him that they would dispatch their troops in time to Xena Pus.

Having prepared for war, Muria now needed only to wait. He awaited Senapus to move above the Senapus Subcontinent. Then, by opening the Space Gate, he would use Senapus as a space teleportation point to transport the legions he had cultivated across the world continent, both intentionally and unintentionally, into Evil God’s Paradise and commence this great war.
