Chapter 813 - 813 802 Those Who Act Rashly Are My Divine
Chapter 813: Chapter 802: Those Who Act Rashly Are My Divine Enemies Chapter 813: Chapter 802: Those Who Act Rashly Are My Divine Enemies “I have heard rumors regarding this matter. The King of the Dead is not a true Titan, he is a being conceived from the carcass of a legendary Titan who died in battle in an exotic realm.
For some unknown reason, the reborn spirit received most of the memories from his body and then completed the tasks his predecessor left unfinished, becoming a legend.
Later on, the King of the Dead, guided by the memories of his previous self, found his way back to the world of Erathia, seeking to rejoin the Titan tribe, but alas, he was rejected. However, he did not leave, instead, he established the Undead Council.”
“This…” Muria opened her mouth as if to say something but found that she could say nothing. The creator of the strongest undead force in the world was born from the carcass of a Titan, and what’s more, this being of such stature was refused entry into the Titan tribe. If it were any other power, they would have been desperate for a legend to join them, let alone reject them.”
…
“Get out of my way!” A black Spear of Silence swept across, a torrent of Death Qi blasting away, pushing back a host of Evil God’s followers who were besieging an Epic Titan. Afterwards, the King of the Dead, shrouded in black blood Qi, approached an Epic Titan, behind whom a world filled with skeletal bones flickered in and out of sight.
“Father!” The thick Death Qi surrounding the King of the Undead reverted to a golden color, filled with powerful life force. Within his skeletal frame, flesh formed piece by piece until a pair of radiant golden pupils reappeared, unabashed adoration within them as he gazed at a Titan whose stature matched his own.
“I am not your father, my son has long perished in battle.” The Xuli Lord looked upon the Titan shrouded in Death Qi with an expression of sadness, but quickly, his expression vanished without a trace, certain that this was not his son.
“But I have clear memories of my childhood with you, my bloodline is your continuation, and my current achievements are also inextricably linked to you, this you cannot deny. If I hadn’t had the Titan Battle Techniques imprinted in my body’s instincts from the start, I would never have reached the point I’m at today.”
“The memories of childhood you speak of were not experienced by you personally, they belong to the former owner of this body, not your own experiences, you’re just fortunate to have inherited his memories from my son’s body.”
“I acknowledge that he is your son, but I am also your son. I share his memories, the same bloodline, and even greater strength than he had. Why won’t you acknowledge me as your son? Is my current power not enough to make you proud?”
The King of the Dead’s face showed a mix of unwillingness and ferocity. He had always wanted to gain recognition from the father of the body he inhabited, a fixation from his past life, and even now he had no intent of cutting that obsession loose.
The King of the Dead stretched out his hand, and the War Spear, which had turned the same golden color with him, appeared in his grasp. This was the Exclusive Weapon that the original body owned before his death.
However, when he initially awoke in the Titan’s skeletal remains, only half of the spear remained, the other part shattered into pieces. Now, this spear had been reforged from all the collected fragments and other Legendary Metals, even fused with source power, into a new source Weapon.
“If my son could have achieved what you have now, then of course I would be proud. Regrettably, he was lackluster and fell in the Outer Realm. And then you were born.”
The Xuli Lord gazed sorrowfully at the familiar face of the King of the Dead, for although the face had achieved the successes he had long hoped for, the soul within was no longer the same. Everything had changed beyond recognition.
“Damned foreign gods, this isn’t a place for you to catch up and acknowledge family,” the group of distorted Evil Gods who had been repelled by the King of the Dead’s spear, felt insulted seeing him and the Xuli Lord chatting like old friends. They gathered around, pressing in once again.
…
Boundless Heavenly Realm, Blazing God Domain
“We’ve just received news that the Titan Tribe has entered into war with the Outer Realm Evil Gods, and it seems the battle is at a stalemate. Let’s discuss how many Blazing Sky Gods we should send to support them,” a handsome Blazing Sky God sitting near the head of the table spoke out loud.
“I heard that the Titan Tribe initiated this war, why should we support them? Let the Titans fight it out themselves.”
Blazing Sky God Samuel frowned, there were things he still hadn’t forgotten, so he was reluctant to support the Titans, after all, to him, this was a minor matter.
“What are you talking about? The Titan Tribe is one of our best allies. They’re fighting the outer gods. How can we just stand by and watch?”
“Even if they are allies, we can’t blindly escalate the situation, can we? As far as I know, this battle started just because a young Titan wandering through the Void happened upon the trail of the Evil God’s Followers.”
Then he requested the support of the Titan Tribe, but it was the Ancient Prison Master, who was awakened prematurely because of him, that took action. After this master cleared away the pollution of the Evil God, he wasn’t satisfied. Following the traces left behind by the Evil God’s followers, he tracked down the Evil God’s true form and then engaged in cross-realm battle.
However, that Evil God was not just a single entity, he had a race behind him. Thus, more Epic Titans joined the fight until it escalated into a great war. If our Blazing Sky God Race were to join now, the war would continue to expand.”
“Absurd, according to you, we just sit by and watch our allies battle a host of Evil Gods alone. Doing so could risk the fall of the Titans.”
“If the Titans are at risk of falling, then we, the Blazing Sky Gods, are equally at risk. Since that’s the case, we should be even less inclined to participate in a conflict that was purely triggered by a trivial matter.”
“Is that all the vision you have? How did you achieve the status of a Blazing Sky God? How many resources have you embezzled?” Michaela’s grandfather, Blazing Sky God Arudiba, looked indifferently at the Blazing Sky God opposite him, who was either motivated by an old grudge or simply a lack of foresight, refusing to join the battle.
“What do you mean by that? You slander my reputation for no reason; I challenge you to a duel.”
“You are still not convinced when I say you lack vision? You actually think that this war of the Titans is wrong, is unnecessary—it’s a symbol of shortsightedness,” Blazing Sky God Arudiba sneered,
“Let me tell you, the world where the followers of the Evil God were discovered is a Barbaric World, belonging to no race. The Titans have no relationship with that world, but they unsparingly intervened when it was invaded by the Evil God. Do you think the Titans are being meddlesome?”
“The world invaded by the Evil God doesn’t belong to them,” Blazing Sky God Samuel said, somewhat stunned.
“Of course, it sounds like just a small, medium-sized world was invaded by the Evil God—it doesn’t seem like a big deal, with no significant impact. But what if it is ignored? What consequences will arise? That medium-sized world will fall under the invasion of the Evil God, who will believe that our World Community has no strong races, and they will invade step by step, turning our World Community into a land of silence and death.”
“The situation you’re talking about is impossible. Once any Evil Gods dare to enter our World Community, falling is their only fate.”
“Knowing that the invading Evil Gods must be killed, one should also know that any Evil God who invades our World Community, even if they just reach their hand in, should face the consequences.
The more eager an Evil God dares to reach out, the more we should strike back fiercely. The more powerful the force behind them, the stronger the counterattack should be, until they wouldn’t even dare to glance in the direction of our world again.”
“Regardless of what you think, I will take part in this war between the Titans and the Evil Gods from the Exotic Realm. Who will join me?” Blazing Sky God Arudiba affirmed his stance.
“I will join the battle!” Blazing Sky God Samuel raised his hand.
…
Within the Temple of All Gods, the atmosphere was slightly eerie.
“Twelve Titans have vanished; they are no longer in Erathia World. So many Titans have disappeared, shouldn’t we do something about it?”
When twelve Epic Titans vanished in succession, some Divine Beings could not help but become restless, wanting to take advantage of the absence of the Epic Titans to do something.
They were like a group of children whose parents were not at home, the adults left and they started to get restless, thinking they could rule everything at home and wanted to do something. But they forgot about those children who recklessly fooled around after the adults left home, how miserable their fate was when their parents returned.
“Be a bit quieter; the Titans have gone, do you really want to do something? Those of you with ill intentions, put away your thoughts now. If I find out, don’t blame me for being unpleasant.”
“How do you intend to be ‘unpleasant’?” The Lord of the Storms, Talos, who stood on par with the Master of Dawn, Losanda, looked at the powerful main god with a challenging gaze. Although the Master of Dawn ranked slightly higher, he was not intimidated at all. They were of the same level; what difference did that make? It certainly couldn’t suppress him completely.
In the many Divine Beings of the Temple of All Gods, his hatred for the Titans was the strongest, and his power was among the strongest, too. Now he was a god without family.
His God Series of Rage was gone; the Beast God Mara and the Sea Goddess Amboli were both killed, and who knows how long they would take to resurrect. Anyway, he had no intention of helping these two revive, while the other, the Winter Goddess Oluo, his forbidden desire, had escaped with a Half-blood Titan who wasn’t even legendary.
