King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 790 - 790 719 The New King

Chapter 790: Chapter 719: The New King Chapter 790: Chapter 719: The New King “Submit to me now, or after a beating. The choice is yours,” said Muria, holding the two hundred meters long Prison Suppression Halberd in his palm towards the Shadow Wasteland dweller who recognized his identity.

“Although it’s a bit presumptuous, I would like to be defeated by your hand before bowing down and submitting to you.”

The sharp pain in his forehead from the long halberd, like being torn open, along with the feeling of death Muria hadn’t felt for a long time, did not deter the Bar-Gu creature from challenging Muria one-on-one. After all, it is the legendary Titan.

“You are indeed a worthy servant of the Titan,” Muria gently exclaimed upon seeing that the Shadow Wasteland dweller, barely half his size, dared to challenge him.

In truth, this battle isn’t even a competition. Comparing their physical strength, height, weapons, and power, Bar-Gu is destined to lose, having no chance of victory. Yet, despite this, he still wishes to challenge Muria, a determination worthy of admiration.

“So be it, you will experience the power of the lord you are about to pledge allegiance to.”

Muria stowed away his battle halberd, followed by the Saintly Imperial Abyss within his body. Wanting to suppress the enemy using his bare strength, and make him a submissive subordinate, he needed to ensure a fair fight.

Resorting to advanced weapons or indomitable armor to win this battle would leave an unjust taste in victory even if he triumphed.

To ensure Bar-Gu’s unconditional acceptance of defeat, Muria even scaled down his size to match his opponent.

“Let the battle begin, Bar-Gu!”

“Beware, Lord Titan.” Upon seeing Muria relinquish his weapons and even reduce to the same size, a sense of awe washed over Bar-Gu. His conviction hardened as he decided to give this battle his all in reverence to the Titan.

A massive totem of a Peng bird rose from him, transforming into a fierce bird with wings spread wider than a hundred meters. It pounced at Muria, wielding an atmosphere as sharp as a live bird.

“Battles among peers are not like this.” Seeing the fierce bird pounce at him, Muria smiled and gestured. Over a dozen streams of Golden Thunderburst, each as thick as a python, sprung forth from him. Weaving in the air, they formed a life-like Golden Roc.

The golden Roc screeched and locked into a talon-grip with the Peng. Within a few rounds, the Golden Thunder Roc shattered the flying Peng, birthed from the totem.

Squawk! The golden Roc, spreading its wings in the sky, let out a triumphant screech. As if embodying an intelligent spirit, it crumbled back into the Golden Thunder, falling onto Muria, a testament to the control he exerted over his power.

“You truly are the Titan!” The sight of his carefully nurtured Peng totem spirit crushed effortlessly by Muria, left Bar-Gu in awe. Never before during battles with his peers was he defeated so easily.

And, it seemed, unlike his totem spirit, the conjuring of the Titan was a mere consolidation of power. Unlike his totem spirit capable of independent combat.

“So individually, these totem spirits are useless. What about fighting together?” Bar-Gu released all his totem spirits, recreating the scene of his entrance – thirteen beasts roaring at Muria.

“Such worthless tricks. To open a battle is one thing, but they won’t get you far!” With a simple punch, Muria shattered all the totem spirits, a golden punch resonating through.

“Let’s have a real fight now,” said Muria as he flew downwards, kicking the giant. The massive kick sent him flying into the earth.

Impact! The shockwave flung Bar-Gu into the air, leaving behind a giant crater.

“Stand up, continue fighting with me.” Without allowing him any rest, Muria cleared the dust rising from the crater with a sweep of his hand, looking at Bar-Gu struggling to stand.

“Lord Titan, may I ask, what percent of your true power can you utilize in your current state?”

“Around thirty percent,” Muria replied with a smile.

“Is that so!”

“Feeling discouraged now?” Looking at this Shadow Wastelander, who had fully recovered from the shock, Muria commanded, “If that’s so, kneel before me and submit now!”

“Sir, as your future follower, I want to display my bravery to you. I will submit to you only after I have lost all my fighting capabilities.”

“Are you still planning to fight?” Muria’s expression turned solemn. It was at this moment that he couldn’t help but admire the belief and willpower of the titan standing in front of him. If he wasn’t a Titan, even if he was defeated, this titan would have never submitted to him.

“What exactly is this? Can anyone tell me?” A Shadow Wasteland Titan, with scattered black hair, shallow wrinkles on his face, and a slightly old look, asked. He looked like an angry lion.

“I don’t know, this thing is unheard of, unseen.” Yet the aging face but powerful strength of the titan, who was like a giant bear, scratched his head.

“Those old fellows have combed through the old chronicles left from the glorious times and haven’t been able to find anything similar. This type of wall seems to have appeared in our Shadow Wasteland World for the first time.”

The third Shadow Wasteland Titan spoke. He looked thoughtful and then made a bold guess, “This perhaps is…”

“Shut up, it has only been ten thousand years. It is still early for those two existences to arrive. They can’t possibly come this early.” The old man that looks like a lion roared with a flash of invisible fear in his eyes. That’s because after the arrival of those two existences, their world was unified and there were no more rebels.

“We know nothing about these supreme beings. How can we judge when they will arrive based on previous experiences?” The Shadow Wasteland Titan, whose arms were thicker than the regular titan’s legs, argued.

“Alright, let’s not discuss this anymore and think about how to dismantle this wall. If we leave it standing here, the area that our Nine Phoenix Dynasty rules will directly reduce by half.”

“Let me see how hard this wall is and whether it can block my fist.” The titan, who resembled a bear, stepped forward. He clenched one hand at his waist and threw a punch at the towering light wall.

Boom! The gigantic titan immediately soared backwards, enveloping the sky with dust. He smashed a trench that stretched for thousands of kilometers on the ground and was in an extremely embarrassing state.

“Hiss! Such a powerful rebound force.” The muscular Titan stood up from the trench. One could see that the arm he used to hit the light wall had twisted out of shape.

“How could it be undamaged? Even if there was a mountain ten thousand meters high in front of me, I should have destroyed it with that punch!” The muscular titan stood in the same spot where he had just thrown his punch, an incredulous look on his face.

“Pretty normal, if your punch had shattered it, what would have been the point in creating such a huge wall with so much effort?”

“I don’t believe that this wall can extend indefinitely into the sky and block us.” Another Shadow Wasteland Titan roared disbelievingly and launched himself into the sky, leaving a visible trail of Qi connecting the heavens and the earth.

“How can it be so high?” When he was in the sky tens of thousands of meters above the ground, where he couldn’t even see the ground below, the shimmering light wall still existed and blocked his view of the world behind it.

“If it doesn’t work above the sky, what about below the ground?” When the Shadow Wasteland Titan, who lived in the Royal Court, landed unwillingly from the sky, he cast his gaze onto the ground.

He then crazily started digging under the light wall. No matter how deep he dug, the light wall continued to extend downwards following his digging.

“We can’t break it with brute force, and we can’t get around it. We simply can’t get past this wall.” The three Shadow Wasteland Titans all looked gloomy.

“There is no such thing as an unbreakable wall. If we can’t break it, it just means we’re not strong enough.”

“What are you still doubting? The existence of this wall has proven that the majestic being has arrived. Such a thing couldn’t possibly exist in our world.”

“…” Hearing this, the old man who looked like a lion instantly became dispirited with a slight hunch in his posture, “Let’s go back and report to the king of Nine Phoenixes. If we can’t break this barrier, then we should prepare to submit to the new king of this world!”

“Submit to the new king, huh? A Titan? Sure, as long as he can defeat me.” The Shadow Wasteland Titan, who was like a bear, said nonchalantly. He wasn’t bothered at all and there was anticipation in his eyes.

“Dammit, shut up!”
