Chapter 788 - 788 777 Endless Coincidences

Chapter 788: Chapter 777 Endless ‘Coincidences Chapter 788: Chapter 777 Endless ‘Coincidences “I must say, aren’t you getting your hands on these resources a little too easily? It’s as if you’re just casually picking them up. It seems like the world has adopted you as its own child.”

Golden Dragon Mother couldn’t hold back her astonishment while looking at the distribution map of the resources. Yet, she meant nothing else, just pure awe because after all, the world is unconscious and all its actions are based on instinct.

“Hehe!” Muria dryly laughed twice. What else could she say?

“Mother, did you find anything from your exploration this time?” Muria asked Golden Dragon Mother.

“Well, I walked half of the Shadow Wasteland World, and got a rough idea of how to set up an array that can divide the entire world. I plan to use the naturally formed terrain of this world, and some remnants left by the previous two Titans to construct the array. The success rate is about 30%. But now that you’ve discovered these resources, the success rate of constructing the magic array can reach 50%.”

“50 percent?” Upon hearing this probability, Muria couldn’t help but slightly furrow her brow. She saw this success rate too low. After all, she wasn’t a grassroots-born fellow. She could get everything she wanted without risking a thing.

“Be content, Little Muria. Do you know what a 50% probability means? We’re setting up a magic array in someone else’s territory. It could be discovered at any moment.”

“But I think with the knowledge accumulation of the aboriginal people of this world, even if they discover it, they wouldn’t know that these are array nodes!” Muria rubbed her chin speculatively. For those who don’t understand magic arrays, it’s just a splendid pattern that glows.”

“That’s why there’s a fifty percent chance of success.” Golden Dragon Mother tapped Muria’s head.

“Mother, how do you plan to use the magic array to divide the world?”

“I’ve already located the position of the Royal Capital of the Jiufeng Dynasty. The most powerful forces in the world are basically there. I’ve sensed two Legendary Peak powers from a distance. Don’t think about challenging them until you become a high-level legend. So, I’ll try my best to avoid that place whilst dividing.”

In the central region of the Jiufeng Dynasty of the Shadow Wasteland World, a large number of aboriginal people gathered in a ring-shaped building located inside a large city. They were excitedly roaring. In the center of this building, an aboriginal person nearly 24 meters tall was fighting a giant bear-like evil beast with bare hands.

Blood and sweat splashed around, primitive, savage, and barbaric. This visually striking scene had excited the surrounding aboriginal people into loud roars.

Just then, a violent tremor came from afar, causing the entire city to wobble slightly. Accompanying the violent vibration, the fighting giant bear and aboriginal people stopped and looked up to the sky and around. A panicked expression appeared on their faces.

Facing an earthquake, which represented natural disaster, even the aboriginal people capable of tearing tigers and leopards, showed adequate fear. At least before they acquired similar powers, they would remain wary of nature.

“What happened? What caused this earthquake?” An aboriginal man situated at the top of this coliseum frowned, visibly displeased, and asked the attendant next to him. He was really getting in the mood to watch.

“My Lord, someone has been sent out to investigate. We’ll get the news soon.” The aboriginal person serving the Lord hurriedly answered.

Soon a knight riding a Four-clawed Black Eagle came rapidly flying from afar. He reported to the Lord what he had investigated.

“Lord, partly of Thousand Stone Mountain collapsed, causing this earthquake.”

“Thousand Stone Mountain collapsed?” The aboriginal Lord, draped in bear skin, knitted his brows. He remembered this was the highest mountain in his territory. Why did it collapse without reason? “Did you figure out the cause?”

“My Lord, initially it’s attributed to the heavy rain earlier that formed streams, which eroded the inner structure of the mountain. And then today, it triggered some anomalies, leading to part of the mountain collapsing and caused this earthquake.”

“I see.” After hearing the cause of the Thousand Stone Mountain collapse from his subordinate, the aboriginal lord lost further interest. Since he had already explored that mountain without finding any significant resources, he wouldn’t care about what happened there.

As a result, the bloody and barbaric man-beast battle continued, as the Lord had no interest in investigating the actual cause of the mountain’s collapse.

A giant magic array with a kilometer radius caused the collapsing of the mountain. This magic array was just a node of a super magic array that was about to cover the entire world. It was due to the establishment of this magic array that the elements around changed, in turn, damaging the structure of the mountain, leading to a series of effects: a partial collapse of the mountain and this ensuing earthquake.

“Muria, this is unacceptable. You only had to set up a small magic array, yet you caused the mountains to collapse. Without me, you would have alarmed the locals of Shadow Wasteland World.”

Once the locals of Shadow Wasteland World had stopped their investigation, on top of a partially collapsed mountain, a girl with golden hair was furiously lecturing a boy with black hair and golden pupils who was looking down in embarrassment.

“Isn’t it normal to make mistakes the first time?” Muria tried to argue weakly, “Besides, didn’t you insist that I try?”

“How can you be so uncontrite after messing up? I thought you already had the ability to set up a portion of the array nodes, but who would’ve thought you would be so incompetent.”

Golden Dragon Mother glared at him and Muria immediately shut up. He had indeed made a major mistake this time. His incorrect formation arrangement had accidentally caused a mountain to collapse, triggering a massive earthquake.

The most embarrassing part for Muria was that the Golden Dragon Mother thought he could do it, but in reality, he was woefully inadequate. This gave Muria an odd sense of guilt as if he’d let his mother down.

“Next time, you’ll still set up the formation…” After a long period of contemplation, the Golden Dragon Mother said to Muria, “This time around, I’ll be watching your every move with hawk eyes. We can’t afford for you to make any major mistakes.”

“Mother, wouldn’t it be better if you did it? You’re quick and efficient, while I take a lot of time and waste resources, plus I could still make a mistake,” said Muria awkwardly. In truth, he was not keen on studying things that had damaged his hair, fearing that it could lead to hair loss.

“Waste? Each generation of Array Masters has squandered tons of resources. Only through repeated failures could world-renowned Array Masters emerge. Wasting isn’t the problem; neither is failure. What counts is whether you can learn from those failures.”

“How much did you waste, mother?”

“I can’t remember, but if you piled it all up, it would be taller than this mountain we’re on.”

“That high?” Muria gaped at the partially collapsed mountain shrouded by clouds beneath them.

“Even geniuses need experience, which comes from repeated failures.”

“But gathering experience from failed attempts at setting up World Nodes doesn’t sound too good,” Muria expressed his apprehension as the pressure of array formation concerning his world conquest weighed heavily on him.

“What are you afraid of? So what if you fail? It only delays the time when you conquer this world.”

The Golden Dragon Mother gave a nonchalant dismissal, “Don’t think I haven’t noticed. This world caters to you as if you’re its child of the era. All the Qi luck of this world converges on you. Your rule over this world is just a matter of time.”

“Isn’t that exaggerating?” Muria scratched his head.

“Because of your mistakes, see when I casually deflected attention to help you, these locals didn’t even notice. Do you think it’s a coincidence or they’re all idiots?”

The Golden Dragon Mother bluntly stated a fact that left Muria speechless, “Do you think an incompetent person could serve as lord of a prosperous city in the heart of a dynasty? Such a person, in the event of such massive seismic activity, only despatched a few servants to haphazardly investigate, and when the investigation was over, no one else was sent to check again. They’ve stopped thinking.”

“…” Muria opened his mouth to say something, but his head was filled with tumultuous thoughts and he didn’t know what to say.

What followed was the Golden Dragon Mother touring various parts of the Shadow Wasteland World with Muria to set up magic arrays in nodes she had previously identified.

Despite the Golden Dragon Mother’s guidance, Muria made some irreversible mistakes; causing massive geographical changes in the nodes selected by the Golden Dragon Mother.

Mountains collapsed, rivers changed course, plains subsided, yet miraculously, these frequent geographic changes didn’t draw the attention of the Jiufeng Dynasty.

Some of these geographical changes were discovered, some weren’t. When the locals who came to investigate noticed these changes, due to a variety of “coincidences”, they took a cursory glance and then ignored them. These findings were not reported. They didn’t consider these geographical changes important, they saw them as part of the world’s natural evolution.

It was under these seeming “coincidences” that bore the mark of divine intervention, that the super magic array encompassing half of the Shadow Wasteland World was gradually taking shape, astonishing Muria with how smoothly it was coming together….
