King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 785 - 785 774 City of Void

Chapter 785: Chapter 774: City of Void Chapter 785: Chapter 774: City of Void “Of course not, how could every place in another world be like this?” Muria flatly rejected this ancient golden dragon’s beautiful fantasy of otherworldly realms, it was common sense. Even Erathia World, which far surpasses the other medium-sized worlds in terms of resources, didn’t have such areas densely packed with resources, let alone others. “It’s just that the place we’re currently in is special. It’s probably the only place like this in the whole world.”

“Then we’re truly lucky!” After some thought, the ancient golden dragon concurred with Muria’s argument, a region with such densely packed resources in this world was probably only this place under their feet.

“Lucky?” Muria’s gaze had a subtle nuance.

“Of course we’re lucky, Your Highness.” The ancient golden dragon, Giovanni, extended a claw and pointed at the crater-pitted and fissure-riddled earth beneath their feet. “These resources are all buried deep underground, if we hadn’t arrived at this location and made all these craters and cracks, we might not have discovered them.”

“You’re mistaken, this isn’t luck.” Muria shook his head, he didn’t think this had anything to do with good fortune. Regardless of whether there were resources or not, he had already decided to have his expeditionary force from Erathia World build a city here. Given the existence of mountain giants, these resources buried underground would be revealed sooner or later.

“Enough talk, let’s start using these resources to build the city!” Muria didn’t want to argue with the ancient golden dragon. The facts were already laid out in front of them. This was his second grace after arriving in the Shadow Wasteland World. He didn’t think it was just a coincidence, Muria believed that this world was favoring him exceptionally.

The Shadow Wasteland World treated him, the third Titan to arrive, more than just a son, offering everything it could, providing all kinds of convenience. So far, everything that had happened was favorable to him.

“Your Highness, I want to use the resources here to build a Mage Tower.” After Muria spoke, the ancient golden dragon requested immediately with great excitement. As a mage dragon, seeing so many raw materials instinctively made him want to build his own tower as a matter of course. If there were more resources, he would like to build a city for himself – one that could fly in the sky.

“Sure, but don’t waste anything and no embezzlement,” Muria thought about the resources they had discovered so far and then nodded in agreement. It wasn’t time yet to send these resources back to replenish Xena Pus.

The resource exploration only lasted three days. At Muria’s orders, it ended quickly, and most of the manpower of the expeditionary force was thrown into construction.

Of course, detailed resource detection hadn’t ended. Muria assigned a small team of 150 Mountain Giants to go deep underground and inspect resources.

Above ground, the land full of pits and clefts began to be levelled on a large scale, the splits were filled, large areas turned into flat plains becoming vast wastelands devoid of growth. In Muria’s planning, a magnificent magic city would appear here.

Construction Factory, Extraordinary Metal Refinery, Elemental Power Plant, Weapon Factory, Combat Laboratory, Weather Controller, Griffon Fortress, Giant Roost, Giant War Fortress… Building after building, each with its own functionalities, sprung up like bamboo shoots after rain from this leveled ground, each standing tall and imposing.

When this city, named the City of Void by Muria, started taking shape, Muria returned to the Flame Wheel Tribe. But as soon as he returned, eight people from the Shadow Wasteland World found him to ask questions.

“Prince Muria, where have you been? After you left, the ground kept shaking multiple times. Would you know why?”

“How is the foundation you guys laid?” Instead of answering their questions, Muria asked them about the construction of the city.

Seeing Muria’s calm demeanor, the people of the Shadow Wasteland World honestly responded to Muria, focussing on the thick and solid foundation of the city under construction, which hadn’t been affected by the earthquakes due to their strict adherence to Muria’s instructions.

“Hmm, very good.” Hearing that the city’s foundations haven’t been affected, Muria nodded in approval, “I know the reason for the earthquakes. That was the result of the arrival of my legion. Don’t worry.”

Muria, with a slight smile, disclosed the reason for the continuous, drastic earthquakes earlier, naturally welcoming the shocked gazes of these people from the wasteland world.

“That was the impact of your legion’s arrival?” The strongest Hunter of the Flame Wheel tribe could only show astonishment on his face, unable to imagine what kind of legion would cause such violent shakes upon its arrival to persist for such a long time.

“Where is your legion, then?” A cautious Priest of the Shadow Wasteland asked, full of respect.

“Oh, their population is too large, so I let them mine and build their city in the land of descent rather than bringing them here.” Muria looked at the faces of these wastelanders and found it amusing, so she replied with a smile.

Upon hearing Muria’s reply, the Wastelanders looked at each other in disbelief. Truth be told, although they had witnessed the stunning presence of Muria in the form of a titan, they still harbored some doubts. This was because Muria didn’t possess the unmatched power of the Titans, believed to be able to sweep across the world, and she also seemed to be cautious of the Nine Phoenix Dynasty of the wasteland world.

“The power they wield is far too inferior compared to yours, that’s why I didn’t let them come and gather with you. Of course, if you want to see it in person, you can form a team to visit,” Muria said to the doubtful faces of the wastelanders.

She then added, “After your visit, you can act as tour guides, bringing your nephews and outstanding youngsters from your tribe along, to broaden their horizons. Don’t limit your worldview to this tiny area.”

“Achai, we’ve been chosen to visit the City of the Void this time. Don’t wet your pants in fright at the wonders there, it will disgrace our Flame Wheel tribe,” a youth with a feathered serpent tattoo on his shoulder playfully cautioned another with a steel-toothed Tyrannosaurus tattoo.

“It is you who should be careful, Black Terror,” the Tyrannosaur-tattooed boy retorted, “Don’t be too shocked when you see the City of the Void. Prince Muria has said the sights of the City of the Void are beyond our imagination. Make sure you don’t disgrace us Wastelanders.”

“Nonsense. How could I disgrace our tribe?” The youth known as Black Terror bristled at his kinsman’s mockery and retorted with equal vigor.

Thus, the two lost themselves in a heated argument while the rest of the tribe merely looked on. They had grown accustomed to the constant bickering of the two young men.

“Stop arguing, we’re nearing the City of the Void now.,” a mature wastelander interrupted the two quarrelling young men with a good-natured smile.

Upon hearing the man’s words, both youths immediately turned to look in the direction he pointed and caught sight of the corner of a grand architectural ensemble situated at the edge of the continent.

“Is that the City of the Void? It’s so high!” Although still quite a distance away, one of the young men could see a towering building within the city. This tower reached up into the skies, pulling elemental energy from all directions and forming a brilliant elemental vortex at its peak. It was a truly radiant spectacle.

“That’s not the City of the Void, but only one of the buildings. According to the inhabitants of the city, it’s known as the Mage Tower, a dwelling for the most intelligent beings,” A hunter called Valley who had been to the City of the Void before, and who knew the name and purpose of some constructions, explained.

“If that’s just one building, then it must be the most majestic. So… the wisest people live there? Does that mean our tribal priest can live there too?”

“Hehe,” Gorge from the Flame Wheel Tribe laughed awkwardly at Black Terror’s childish words. He knew exactly how powerful those beings were who dwelt in the Mage Tower. Comparing their old priest to those beings was indeed a disgrace.

As the group of Wastelanders who entered the City of the Void for a visit came closer, more and more of the magnificent buildings in the city came into their view, hitting all their senses at once.

For these young men, whose civilization was still very primitive, the wonders brought about by the highly advanced magic technology in the City of the Void truly astonished them and filled them with a great sense of awe and inexplicable humiliation.

Once they set foot in the City of the Void, even Black Terror and Achai had no intention of bickering anymore. Their eyes roved from one building to another, etching every detail to memory. As they saw more, their mouths flung open wider, unable to close in awe.

Seeing their stunned faces, the mature wastelanders who led them here said nothing. They themselves were not much better when they first arrived at the city, which was then still under construction.
