King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 589 - 589 585 The Abominable Dragon Race

Chapter 589: Chapter 585: The Abominable Dragon Race Chapter 589: Chapter 585: The Abominable Dragon Race “Thirty-eight winged bird dragon,” Muria’s eyes sparkled a little, revealing her fighting spirit. Like the Plutonium Dragon and the Blue Diamond Dragon, the thirty-eight winged bird dragon also belonged to the Abomination level of the Dragon Race, a bloodline even stronger than legendary dragons. They are disdainful of everything, except for the Ancient Gods; they particularly despise the new gods.

As the name suggests, the thirty-eight winged bird dragon has thirty-eight wings: three pairs on the outside of the ears; three pairs on the back; three pairs at the end of the tail; one pair on the chest; one pair behind the shoulders; a pair each on the wrist and elbow of their limbs; and the last two pairs are on the shoulders and buttocks, respectively.

The thirty-eight winged bird dragon belongs to the avian dragon type, looking more like a bird than a dragon. Instead of scales, their bodies are covered in luscious feathers. Their heads do not have horns but are adorned with crested feathers like a bird. They also possess beaks and claws like a large carnivorous bird.

“The offspring of Saint Winged Raximir!” Irvicester, who was recovering, also noticed the aggressively approaching bird dragon. Recognising it by its white feathers, he knew its origin. Apart from the bird dragon on Heaven Mountain, he hadn’t heard of any other thirty-eight winged bird dragons with pure white feathers.

“Big brother-in-law, shall we continue?” Muria asked somewhat helplessly, “Why don’t you step down? If you want to fight me, we’ll have plenty of opportunities in the future. I want to try a real fight with this bird dragon now, to feel the power of an Abomination level dragon.”

“I haven’t conceded yet!” Irvicester coldly replied. He had clashed with Muria evenly across a wide range of weapons — spears, swords, bows, even hand-to-hand combat. Nobody had the upper hand. This frustrated Irvicester because he had been practicing for longer than Muria, yet Titan had a better innate talent in techniques.

“Let’s call it a draw, okay?” Reluctantly, Muria stepped back half a step. Considering the legendary physique they both had now, how long would it take to wear Irvicester down to his limit? This wasn’t a fight to the death after all, so why exert all this effort?

“Hmm!” Irvicester huffed. Although the ring was suppressing his strength, he still held a slight advantage over Muria. He had attained a legendary third rank physique. If it were a real fight at their same level, he wouldn’t be a match for Muria. Of course, he isn’t now either, but he can hold on longer. Most of the Blazing Sky God Descendants didn’t think he was on the verge of defeat.

“If you lose any single round, leave immediately and stop pursuing my sister.”

“In a fight at the same level, I will not be weaker than anyone!” replied Muria confidently, “I will not lose!”

“I hope so!” responded Irvicester. His gaze then fell upon Feiye Ti, the female eight-winged Blazing Sky God Descendant on the spectator’s platform. His eyes softened instantly.

This was his real reason for stepping down. He had seen concern in the eyes of this Blazing Sky God Descendant, who he had recently pursued and was soon to be engaged to. She didn’t want him to continue fighting. Combining this with the fact that there was no hope of winning, Irvicester conveniently stepped down.

“You’re Muria?” The pure white feathered thirty-eight winged bird dragon observed Muria. Above its head appeared three narrow cracks connecting to the elemental realms. Torrents of elemental power poured out from the cracks and entered its body without causing any ripples.

“Yes, that’s me!” Looking at the Abomination dragon before him, Muria’s eyes were filled with anticipation. Abomination dragons are a general term, referring to terrifying creatures that were born in ancient times and have survived to the present day. These creatures only respect the Ancient Gods and a few other entities. They disdain most beings, including the new gods.

A fully developed Abomination dragon can compete with deities and epics, and some strong Abomination dragons even have records of slaying gods. For instance, the notorious oldest hate dragon, Katanyangat, is known as the Soul Slayer because it once killed the Evil God with the powerful divine force in Hell — the Soul God Mokame.

However, while Abomination dragons possess power equivalent to a Dragon King, they are not Dragon Kings. They lack source power and the creative force derived from it. They only have the destructive power of a Dragon King’s level.

Whether they can become a Dragon King is unclear because there are no precedents. In fact, most Abomination dragons have left Elasia to wander in the Void. Fewer than ten of them remain in this world community and are mostly in hibernation.

The existence of Abomination dragons is more akin to the planet-sized Void Beasts in the Void. They represent the peak of the dragon race’s powerful physique, which is entirely different from gods and epics and does not belong to the same system.

The dragon in front of Muria was clearly a young Abomination dragon. He wasn’t sure how it was born. Based on Muria’s experience, the existence of this feathered dragon seemed utterly unreasonable.

But Muria wasn’t a scholar. He didn’t feel the need to investigate why this feathered dragon existed. The appearance of some unreasonable or abnormal creatures during the process of reproduction was normal, and there were quite a few of such beings. He himself was one of them.

“I heard you claim to be undefeated under the epic level?” The young feathered dragon asked curiously. A curiosity in its eyes seemed inconsistent with its strength. It indeed was only a young dragon.

Similar to the legendary time dragon, it was born a legend. However, Muria doubted that such a dragon existed. Time could not possibly be controlled by creatures. Gods could manipulate time within their divine kingdoms, but that was limited to within their divine kingdoms. More fundamentally, it was just reversing the movement of matter and didn’t count as genuine time travel.

“I have never claimed to be that.” Muria straightforwardly denied the allegation. In the vast world, who knows what kind of beings could be born. Muria didn’t think his existence was unique. Claiming to be undefeated at the same level based on his current state, he felt, was unwarranted, “But I do hope to earn this title someday.”

“Oh, I wish you success.” The bird dragon then leisurely drew a beautiful curve in the air and prepared to leave. From beginning to end, it paid no attention to the Blazing Sky Gods and Dragon Kings. Apart from the Ancient Gods, no existence could make it bow voluntarily.

“Wait, weren’t you going to fight me?” Muria was taken aback. He had pressured his brother-in-law to clear the ring, but now this bird dragon was preparing to leave after a quick chat, showing no intention of fighting. It made the situation quite awkward.

“I’m not interested! I just came to take a look at what you arrogant creatures look like.” The young thirty-eight winged bird dragon responded lazily.
