King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 561 - 561 557

Chapter 561: 557 Chapter 561: 557 “Tell her!” Muria made a slight bow, he didn’t underestimate anyone, even the obsequious businessman in front of him. It was merely because of the background behind him that he bowed his head to him; in the world, Andrew was definitely considered one of the top manipulators.

His commerce association had traded with Xena Pus for so long, Muria did not intentionally hide things, he would not believe that the fat merchant in front of him did not know his identity.

He was not royalty, but his status was more noble than that of royalty. Andrew absolutely knew this, and princess Gladys guessed it, so she was surprised.

“Her Royal Highness Gladys, this is Prince Muria. I was ordered by His Majesty to serve Prince Muria, so I was just neglectful, please forgive me, I really don’t know the clone technique.” Andrew bent his waist hard, and explained in a humble tone. He did not state Muria’s identity, but hinted vaguely from the side.

“So if he came to find you, you would immediately abandon me. That’s a wise choice.” Gladys smiled, her smile seemed not as fake as before, she was actually happy.

“So, Prince Mureya,” Gladys bowed slightly to Mureya with a smile, “If I may ask, you came to find Andrew, do you have something you want him to help with? I just faintly heard that Andrew suggested contacting the royals, I seem to precisely meet his requirements.”

“I want to find the Dragon Princess Filisia, to reclaim my dragon, can you help me get in touch with her?” Muria asked, if Andrew could not help, try the royalty in front of him.

“Contact the Dragon Princess,” Gladys’ face was stunned, and she glanced at Andrew, “It’s an easy thing to do. Although I have hardly any dealings with her, with my status, there’s no problem inviting her.”

“That’s it, if you can keep my meeting with you today a secret, please sit down and have a detailed talk.”

“I would be delighted.” Upon hearing Muria’s request, Gladys’ smile bloomed. From the moment she knew of Muria’s identity, she had subconsciously wanted to hide it, which perfectly matched her aspiration.

“Andrew, find another room, I want to have a good talk with Her Royal Highness.”

“No problem.” Seeing that Muria and Gladys, these two big figures, had the intent to trade, Andrew patted his chest and breathed a sigh of relief. He was fine now, no need to worry about how to deal with the anger of a princess later on.

“Those guards outside, can you guarantee they won’t talk?” Muria, settled in a room again, cast his gaze at the twenty-four black armored guards outside the room. He felt those guys were a bit strange, “Only Andrew and another legendary mage in the Deep Blue Commerce Association know of my existence.”

“You can rest assured on this point, I will make them forget everything about today. Apart from me and Catherine, no one else will know of your arrival.” Sitting across from Muria, Gladys, holding a cup of hot tea again, took a sip.

“What kind of forgetting?” Muria raised his eyebrows, it shouldn’t be the kind of physical forgetting.

“Erase their memories of today,” Gladys responded. Behind her, Catherine, whose forehead was red and her brow bone puffed up, was petulantly glaring at Muria. Judging by the current situation, the hit to her head was endured in vain.

“They are not ordinary beings!” Muria got slightly interested. It’s not a simple thing to erase memories – reaching the soul requires Soul Intent Level power.

“Apocalyptic Black Knights, a type of semi-organic, semi-metallic construct being.” Her Royal Highness Gladys simply introduced the guards behind her.

“Semi-organic, semi-metallic construct being.” Muria’s curiosity intensified, “How does their battle prowess fare?”

“A small squadron of Black Knights can slaughter a same-level Giant Dragon.” Gladys watched her Black Knights capture Muria’s attention, a proud smile spread across her face, “If you find them agreeable, I can give all these Black Knights to you.”

“Thank you then.” Muria didn’t know the meaning of “humility” and “refusal”, and directly accepted the princess’ gift, after all, he was a Golden Dragon.

“Prince Muria, you want to go after the Dragon Princess Filisia to reclaim your dragon, right?” asked Gladys, smiling at Muria.

“That’s correct,” Muria nodded and then explained his plan: reason with the Dragon Princess first, if she didn’t listen, he would resort to violent measures,

“According to my understanding of Princess Filisia, in 90% of cases, you may need to resort to violent methods.”

A daughter, the most loved by an empire’s ruler, you didn’t need to think to know she’d be a very proud girl. Just look at her hobby: collecting all kinds of genius dragons, and signing contracts with them. Only a young girl with strong ambition could have this kind of momentum. It was very likely that the princess wouldn’t listen to a reasoned discussion.

“Using violent means against the princess would cause a great political dispute,” mused Gladys, saying slowly after a pause, “In the worst-case scenario, the Orlando Empire would declare war on my country, triggering a war conflict.”

“No matter what happens, no matter what price needs to be paid, I have to ask her to return my dragon.” Muria’s will was unshakable.

If he were to abandon his fellows out of fear of causing serious consequences, who would then be willing to follow him in the future? A ruler who can’t even protect his own subordinates had no right to be called a king.

“If you think that helping me might lead to consequences that you cannot bear, you can choose to give up, as long as you don’t tell anyone you saw me here.”

“You probably don’t understand what the title ‘the Seventh Princess’ represents, right? If the Orlando Empire declares war, I can simply mobilize my own forces to represent the Uranos Empire in a couple of wars.

“Therefore, the consequences of subduing the Dragon Princess through violent means, are still within my tolerance limit.” Glady’s head held high, she spoke with dignity, showcasing her most assertive side as a royal family member.

“If you really bear such consequences, the power you painstakingly built will be all gone. I’m guessing you’ll even lose your title as the seventh princess.”

Mureya swirled the teacup in his hand, a mist with the faint aroma of plants rose from the ripples in the red tea, “What do you want to gain from me?”

Mureya didn’t deem his charm so massive to captivate a princess’ heart at first sight, making her willing to give him her all. This is borderline foolish infatuation, unlikely for a potential contender for the imperial throne.

“I want a favor from you, how about it? When the time comes that I need it, without damaging your personal relationships or your interests, you will go all-out to help me.” Gladys put forth her conditions with a bright smile, a request she had planned the first time she saw Mureya.

“I agree.” Mureya gazed at the stunningly beautiful royal maiden before him. After a moment of contemplation, he acquiesced. The condition was too simple; even though Mureya felt that something was amiss, he couldn’t find a reason to refuse.

“Your Highness, do you really plan to assist this man of dubious origin in dealing with the Dragon Princess?” Alongside Gladys riding in a royal carriage led by eight Heavenly Unicorns, Catherine questioned reluctantly, “He had admitted himself, he isn’t royalty.”

“Indeed, he isn’t royalty because his status is even more noble than that of royalty.” Gladys handled the tea set in the carriage, beginning to make tea with practiced grace.

“What is his background, then?”

“My bloodline inheritance originates from the same root as him. What do you think his background is?”

“Titan!” Catherine’s eyes widened in shock; she downed the hot tea handed by Gladys and finally realized the significance of Mureya’s dazzling golden eyes.

“Hm.” Gladys sipped her black tea and replied satisfactorily.

“But that’s incorrect. How can a Titan sneak into the Imperial Capital, even concealing his aura?”

“Who knows? Perhaps that is why he came surreptitiously because he wanted to provoke the Dragon Princess.” Gladys dismissed Catherine’s question, “He is a Titan, that’s all I need to confirm.”

“But it’s possible he’s an impostor too, right?” Catherine boldly speculated. Since Mureya had hurt her greatly, the girl had grown resentful.

“Nonsense,” Gladys lightly flicked Catherine’s forehead at rocket speed and laughed when she heard her friend’s furious words, “If he really was an impostor, do you really think I wouldn’t be able to find out? Do you think I’m easy to deceive?”

“Ouch!” Serendipitously struck, the Duke’s daughter let out a howl, her ladylike demeanor nowhere in sight, “It hurts, Gladys, maybe you were wrong.”

Saying this, the Duke’s daughter suddenly shed her heavy armor and pounced on the princess, indifferent to her status. She pinned Gladys to the soft carpeting of the carriage. Soon afterward, the ladies tussled with abandon…

“All right, Catherine, stop it. You’ve messed up my dress.” The disheveled Gladys looked at the purple-haired girl on top of her and patted her bottom.

“Gladys, even if he really is a Titan, you don’t need to give up so much. The price is too high.”

“Catherine, do you know who the sixty-eighth Emperor of the Empire was?” The Princess, pinned to the plush carpet of the carriage, asked a seemingly unrelated question.

“Ahem, you know that my history studies are rubbish. I never passed that course.” Catherine sheepishly answered.

“Empress Elizabeth Criss. Her only son, Caesar Criss, became the sixty-ninth Emperor of the Empire.”

“That’s impressive? Even by having only one child, she became the Emperor. This Empress is truly formidable.” Catherine said in surprise.

“There’s a reason behind this. The formidable one is not her, but her husband.” Gladys pushed back her forehead hair with her hand.

“Who was her husband?”

“A Titan!” The words that Gladys uttered caused shockwaves, completely subduing Catherine.

“So, are you helping that Titan bastard named Mureya because…?”

“I want to be the next Empress,” Gladys looked at her confidante, “no matter what it takes.”
