King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1391 - 1391 1363 World Fusion_2
Chapter 1391: Chapter 1363: World Fusion_2 Chapter 1391: Chapter 1363: World Fusion_2 Of course, He was not the only god of death, but in this world, the divine power of death He wielded was likely the strongest. Under most circumstances, there existed no being within the domain of death who could surpass Him, and so He stood at the pinnacle.
At this point, all He had done was complete the first step of inheriting the legacy of His predecessor, the previous god of death. There remained many tasks ahead of Him, but these could be delayed for a time.
“Elders, here are the collections left by the Undead Emperor. Take a look and see if there’s anything you can use. If you see something you like, feel free to choose; there’s no need to be polite with me.”
Muria tried to restrain His own power, then shrank to about a hundred meters tall, and brought forth all of the items that the Undead Emperor had amassed over the long years. In an instant, the light from the divine weapons and alien treasures illuminated a portion of the sky dome. The Divine Light spread in all directions, looking incredibly magnificent.
“Tch, it seems my trip was not in vain, Muria. You are truly generous.”
“Not bad, not bad at all. I like juniors like you. Come to me next time you have a problem. As long as I have the time, I will definitely be there.”
Muria’s actions garnered lavish praise from the many Dragon Kings. Who wouldn’t like a successor who was so generous?
While they praised Him, these Dragon Kings eyed the items Muria had presented with gleaming interest, selecting those they favored. Though they might have liked to tell the junior that they wanted everything, this was an impossibility. Even if He would agree, they would not tolerate such greed from each other.
“Just take one or two items; don’t you have any sense of how much effort you’ve put in?”
As the host, Muria took the initiative to offer the spoils to these epics who had aided Him, which was simply proper etiquette. It was only natural for the Blazing Sky Gods and the Dragon Kings to accept Muria’s tokens of gratitude.
The Blazing Sky Gods didn’t truly care about the items Muria offered, but to save His face, they still symbolically selected one or two.
But the Dragon Kings were not about to be polite with Muria, which made the Dragon King couple, Dimos and Yarista, quite uncomfortable. As Muria’s elders, they didn’t have the brazenness to take things from their junior.
However, watching their kind—the other Dragon Kings—made them feel like they had thousands of ants crawling all over them. Hence, Dimos couldn’t help but speak up to protect his grandson’s interests.
“It’s okay, Grandfather. These are rightfully deserved by the elders.”
Before the other Dragon Kings could respond, Muria already spoke up. Although He felt a twinge of pain parting with the items, now was not the time to be stingy.
Being miserly might save a few visible benefits. However, in the long term, it was an incredibly foolish approach because no one wants to befriend a miser or offer help to one unless they are ignorant.
“Muria, how does it feel to ascend to the heavens in a single step?”
After the Dragon Kings and Blazing Sky Angels who had been brought in as reinforcements took their leave with their rewards, Dimos, who had been silently enduring, came over with his partner.
“It was an experience unlike any I’ve had before. I even want to do it again, but it seems unlikely in the near term,” Muria mused with a hint of lingering desire.
“Have you lost your mind, Primordial Ancient God? It’s already quite incredible that there’s one sitting here for you to kill, and you want a second? Impossible.”
Yarista rolled her eyes. She didn’t approve of her grandson’s choices and ordeal because it was too risky and entirely unnecessary.
“My power is so much stronger now than before. I can even kill an Ancient God,” Muria declared confidently.
“Muria, calm down a bit, don’t get too excited. I am very familiar with the feeling of having such a sudden surge of power.”
Aludiba interjected, because He felt that his grandson-in-law seemed a bit off. Was this the mental inflation that came with gaining too much power too quickly?
“You should be very aware of how important wisdom is for a creature. Although this Emperor is already fallen, you must understand that the true combat power He could have exerted was not even half displayed.”
“I know, what I mean is, I now have the means to do it, but I have no intention of doing so.”
“That’s good. I was worried you’d act on impulse and go directly after the Sun God. Although He has suffered losses here, it was merely one of His avatars.
Without Divine Artifacts and no subsequent power replenishment, even though you’ve eradicated it, this can’t be considered His true strength.”
Aludiba’s gaze fell upon a Lava Lake thousands of meters away, which was the aftermath of the shattered Divine Incarnation of a deity not long ago, altering the ecosystem of an entire region.
“The Sun God, hm? Sooner or later, I will trouble Him, but not now. There’s still much I haven’t done; my battle prowess can still be further excavated. I have yet to reach my limit. Seeking Him out now would be foolish.”
“Indeed, your strength can still be enhanced. The relics left after that Emperor’s fall will sustain you for quite some time. During this period, stay honest and try to avoid conflicts with other deities. Of course, if someone brings the fight to your doorstep, you don’t need to endure it.”
“I understand. Don’t worry too much about me…”
After a bout of conversation, Muria bade farewell to his three grandparents. As for why he didn’t keep these elders around, it was because Muria no longer had the need,
For together, these elders were no match for him; their presence or absence had little effect on Muria. Moreover, each of these elders had their affairs to attend to, and could not spend all their energy on Him, for He was no longer a Child.
“Finally, I can get on with my own affairs, but let’s inform Mija first!”
Muria stretched out his finger and lightly tapped, dark golden Divine Light burst from his fingertip, tearing through Space, transforming into a divine rainbow piercing the Sky Dome. Under the gaze of the Gods, whose attention was already drawn, it shot into a Domain.
“All set.” Assuring himself that the Avatar he sent out was unobstructed by any deity, Muria nodded in satisfaction. Then,
Boom—
A multicolored Light of Law emanated from the top of Muria’s head, spreading across the dark sky of the Netherworld, quickly Covering the entire Sky Dome of the Spirit Realm, replacing the eternally gloomy darkness.
The reflection of a world full of green mountains and clear waters, brimming with life, appeared in the sky above the Spirit Realm. The essence of life spread within the Sky Dome, prompting the remaining Undead in the Netherworld to look up in wonder.
Because at this moment, life and death intertwined, the fusion of these opposing forces provoked intense conflict, with Thunder erupting in the sky of the Netherworld due to the clash of Laws. However, these bolts of Thunder quickly weakened.
Because both Worlds belonged to the same Being, under His reconciliation, the two Worlds began to merge at the point of a sea filled with the Death Qi of the Undead; everything became different.
“This is the feeling, fantastic!”
The fusion of two incomplete rule Worlds complemented each other, merging into a more perfect world. Such a world enabled its owner to experience supreme pleasure, receiving unprecedented feedback—this was the greatest legacy of the Ancient Gods.
Golden light shone in Muria’s eyes, but deeper within, grey Light of Law occupied his pupils.
Among the many God Positions Muria now held, the Power of the God Position [Death] surpassed all others combined, becoming Muria’s primary God Position.
Should His believers worship Him, they could add epithets like “Sovereign of Death, Master of All Things’ Demise…” in their hymns. The present Muria had earned this right.
“Hm, what’s going on?”
While relishing the feedback the world bestowed upon Him, Muria abruptly turned his head, gazing towards a being on the Bone Earth, whose Qi was rising rapidly.
