Chapter 1382 - 1382 1359 Horizontal Push
Chapter 1382: Chapter 1359: Horizontal Push Chapter 1382: Chapter 1359: Horizontal Push “What else can we do? Naturally, I’ll help you, this audacious fellow,” Aludiba huffed, showing clear dissatisfaction with his grandson-in-law, “You’re daring to scheme for a great world without considering your own strength?”
Under the gaze of several Blazing Sky Gods, Muria appeared somewhat shy, truly like a restrained young man under the care of his elders.
“Muria, a hybrid of the Titan and Golden Dragon races, I have long heard of you. Now having met you, I find you even bolder than the rumors suggest. Truly worthy of marrying the pride of our Blazing Sky God Race, your courage alone is sufficient.”
A Blazing Sky God disguised as a snail-shaped Reincarnated Body highly praised Muria. However, Muria felt most of it was just courtesy, considering Aludiba’s influence.
“It’s just youthful recklessness,” Muria humbly stated, appearing very low-profile.
Unsurprisingly, these Blazing Sky Gods were likely brought in by Aludiba as external support since the Blazing Sky God Race did not have a tradition of allowing their descendants to grow independently, but rather, they often cleared obstacles for them.
This was a race known for their protective nature, primarily because they inherited the bloodline of Ancient Gods and had an exceptionally low population, making the preservation of their tribe’s life their top priority.
“You’re almost two thousand years old and still reckless? Don’t you think about the consequences of failure?” Aludiba looked at Muria’s humble demeanor and felt even more dissatisfied than before, recalling that Muria had not shown such an attitude when Aludiba had tested him.
“I have considered it; the worst outcome is just becoming a Divine Being with Powerful Divine Force here, which isn’t too bad,” Muria said with a smile, believing this to be the worst possible outcome.
“Deities are not eternal beings; have you thought about that? The eternal life of deities is granted by the world, and when the world perishes, so will the twilight of the gods.”
“I really hadn’t considered that; for a Deity like me, not even two thousand years old, the idea of a great world entering natural destruction seems an eternity away.”
“Muria, don’t be overly optimistic about the situation. By choosing this path, there is no turning back. The state of this world is dire, hence it gives a young lad like you the chance to harbor unrealistic fantasies,”
“Though I am not your elder, as our Blazing Sky God Race’s son-in-law, I must advise you to strive with all your might to become the master of this world. Don’t think you have other options or ways to retreat. That might make you hesitate when facing crucial decisions.”
Not only Aludiba, but the other Blazing Sky Gods, having heard Muria’s words, also offered their advice. They perceived Muria’s attitude as somewhat passive, a mindset unfit for someone seeking to take the position of master of the world.
The Blazing Sky Gods, though divine in nature, seek the kind of Ancient Gods that vanished into the Void, not the deities of faith that emerged after the world’s flourishing, as a measure of their worth.
Although deities in title, their ultimate pursuit lies in roaming freely through the Void. Therefore, Muria’s mentioned worst-case scenario truly fits the name.
“I demoted myself to deity to become the master of the world, thus I will pursue it with everything I’ve got.”
Muria was somewhat surprised to see how his reassuring words had stirred the Blazing Sky Gods, who seemed to really regard him as one of their own.
“So there’s really no need for all this concern.”
“The likes of these words, do not utter them again,” Aludiba snorted, “Now, let’s discuss the real matters!”
“What are the real matters?” Out of caution, Muria chose to let these Blazing Sky Gods state their reason for being here. Misunderstanding could be quite embarrassing.
“Muria, don’t play dumb with me now. Even with your current foundation, the chance to become the master of the world even with strong powers is slim.
And then you might not only be trapped in this world but also drag my granddaughter down with you. So I brought a few of our same kind to see if they could help enhance your foundation.
I heard from Mija that you’ve come across a Deity of Death with a problem with their Divine Will? And you even know the location of Their Divine Kingdom?”
“I didn’t discover it on my own; it was another old relic who schemed against me that led me there.”
Muria, having no intention of embellishing his story, relayed the facts.
Hearing Muria’s words, the few Blazing Sky Gods exchanged glances and then laughed,
“Just how foolish can one be, to scheme against you in such a way?”
“Is this truly your enemy? To think they presented such an opportunity right to you.”
“The one who schemed against Muria probably didn’t grasp his true Identity; otherwise, they wouldn’t have committed such a folly.”
