Chapter 1325 - 1325 1310 Guardian God and Evil God

Chapter 1325: Chapter 1310: Guardian God and Evil God Chapter 1325: Chapter 1310: Guardian God and Evil God “Excuse?” Muria simply couldn’t understand after hearing his Teacher’s words. What the hell? What was his Teacher trying to do?

“Yes, I need a reasonable excuse to take action against other Deities.”

Muria was very clear that, although both involved taking action against Deities, having a reason or not was incredibly important. One represented order, while the other descended into chaos, and the two types of Deities were treated completely differently.

Even though he was enemies with practically all the Divine Beings in the world because of his greed for too many divine positions, this situation was only unilateral in his opinion.

The Deities whose divine positions overlapped with his didn’t necessarily think the same way; perhaps some of them would even like to join forces with him. But the precondition was that he appeared to be a being with whom cooperation was possible.

If in Jiuli’s homeland, at the center of the world, he took action against other Divine Beings without any justifiable reason, causing their downfall, it was inevitable that he would be guarded against, or even targeted by other Deities.

Muria definitely did not want to end up being ganged up on by all the gods; he didn’t have the strength to take the world on just yet. Better to proceed steadily for now.

“I see.” Although still unsure about the profound implication behind his Teacher’s request, Jiuli agreed anyway because as far as he was concerned, there was no downside, right?

It seemed his Teacher could also benefit from it, so with that in mind, he had nothing to worry about.

In the end, the Avatars of the two Deities simply entered a Domain beyond mortal knowledge to converse, or rather, Muria unilaterally gathered information.

“What a bold and audacious fellow, but no wonder he has managed to get this far.”

In the Imperial Palace imbued with Divine Light, the Deity who had been communicating with his student through an Avatar couldn’t help but laugh out loud as he learned the information he wanted to know, as well as his student’s history of success after attaining godhood.

It was nothing more than the classic scenario of the fishermen benefiting from the fight between the snipe and the clam. However, the difference here was that the ‘fisherman’ was even weaker than the ‘snipe and clam’ at odds, even though he successfully ended up as the opportunistic bird, but he also left behind some severe troubles.

“Although he has great fortune on his side, with this additional boldness and insight, he truly deserves his current position.”

Even though that was what he said, Muria couldn’t help but sigh, grateful that his student was the protagonist. Otherwise, if it were an ordinary person doing what he had done, they would have perished long ago.

He had now recognized that protagonists were not simply favored by the World Will, but also possessed certain qualities. Of course, this didn’t exclude certain worlds’ protagonists who were nothing but waste, barring their luck.

“It’s about time to take action. I wonder what my student’s homeland looks like now.”

Muria remembered the appearance of his student’s homeland when he first saw it, which seemed no different from a regular world on the surface, a technological surface civilization on the verge of entering the Space Age.

But now, after several years had passed, facing hundreds of Portals connecting various different Domains, along with the impact from behind those Portals, Jiuli’s homeland must have become something special.

With that thought, Muria became somewhat interested and immediately asked his student about it through his Avatar, and then…

Not a clue!

That was his student’s answer. As more and more Portals stood in his homeland, Jiuli knew that the waters of his homeland had become too deep, unfit for casual involvement.

“It’s indeed interesting that even the local residents don’t know what their home has become.”

After asking a few more questions and not getting any better news, Muria dismissed the Avatar he had sent to communicate with his student.

Under the blazing sun and cloudless sky, the unrelenting sunlight shone down mercilessly on a large mining pit, where tens of thousands of humans with numb expressions and slightly emaciated figures used various tools to dig for the ore beneath their feet.

In this large open-pit mine, no one slacked off or rested, as the guards who were watching over the miners did not allow it. Since they were not of the same race, it was only natural that there was no empathy and, even more naturally, no mercy whatsoever.

Under the threats of death and the pressures of survival, the humans toiled all day long with only a tiny bit of time for meals and rest. Some of the humans looking at their oppressors of a different race always revealed a hint of hatred unwittingly, but most were just numb.

The vast majority had lost their will and courage to resist amid the continuous drastic changes of the world in recent years, harboring no hope for the future, merely living by instinct, numb and apathetic.

Because they had no power to resist their overseers, those humanoid Monsters with strong bodies and tough skin, each of them had the strength to tear apart tigers and leopards, and once they donned Armor, carried Weapons, and mounted their Battle Beasts, they possessed the might to even challenge a Tank, and so the humans submitted.

Crack!

Under the blazing sun, it wasn’t long before a human with darkened skin from days of exposure collapsed, and the moment he fell, two other humans dropped their tools and rushed over, one fanning him continuously, while the other took off his small water bottle and poured water into the fallen man’s mouth.

However, they weren’t given much time as a Yellow Rock Supervisor came over, mercilessly driving away the two trying to revive their companion.

Then this nearly three meter tall, rock-skinned little giant looked at the likely heatstroke victim, or one passed out from long hours of labor, with an expressionless, stone-like face.

He reached out with a practiced hand that had only four fingers, grasped the waist of the passed-out human, and lifted him as easily as a child picks up a large cloth doll. Then he turned and walked into a mine shaft that appeared somewhat cooler.

The human could lie there until the next morning, but, unfortunately, if he did not emerge when the sun rose again, he would be fed to the Battle Beasts as food.

Miner, and incidentally, food. That was the newly established status of humans in this region after failing to resist an invading intelligent race.

Humans had not been without resistance, but in the epoch of extraordinary beings descending upon the world, ordinary human rebellions were nothing but meaningless suicides. Thus, after repeated failures, the surviving humans had become desperate and numb.

And in this Domain, there were many humans in a similar plight—in areas where humans had lost sovereignty, mere survival was already a blessing.

In this land rich in mineral resources, under what seemed like an unremarkable clear day, darkness fell without warning. But after the initial panic, if one simply looked up, they could see that the vicious sunlight had disappeared because something colossal was blocking it.

“What is that…?”

The oppressed humans couldn’t help but unconsciously lift their heads to gaze at the greatly changed phenomena in the sky. Even with scoldings from the alien supervisors forcing them back to work, they still couldn’t stop stealing glances at the sky.

Even though they knew such celestial changes might not bode well for them, they still couldn’t help but yearn silently in their hearts, harboring unrealistic hopes.

After all, their current existence was but that of slaves devoid of any human rights; in death, they had no place to hide. Whatever the change, it could not be worse than their present situation.

Thus, when darkness spread over the land, or rather, when the giant creation moved slowly across the sky, tiny dots of earthy yellow light sparkled on the ground.

The lights spread over the land, covering the areas engulfed in darkness. Then, a beam of earthy yellow light condensed in the sky and then shot upwards from the ground, piercing the heavens.

Afterward, a massive upper torso of an earth-yellow giant appeared, halting the slow-moving giant creation in the sky, emitting a divine oppressiveness.

In the face of this Divine Might, the Yellow Stone giants dropped to the ground in submission, some with devotion, some with manic chants praising their race’s guardian deity, the God of Yellow Sand.

“I am the Master of the Yellow Sand, Ugo Sosa. This is my territory. Leave immediately, or don’t blame me…”

Boom!

Before the Divine Incarnation could finish speaking, a golden Flame Column struck the exposed body of the deity, and then, a second sun appeared in the sky. The golden Divine Power tangled with the earthy yellow Divine Power, countering and destroying each other, despite not being inherently opposed, under the intent of their respective controllers.

The hurricane created from their clash whipped up a vast amount of dust from the ground, generating a massive sandstorm. But before the disaster, caused by the long-distance combat of the two deities, could spread, it was repressed by an almighty force.

“From today, this place belongs to my Lord,” the voice declared. “If you do not comply, then prepare for battle!”

The entire golden Sunlight Dragon circled in the sky, radiating immense heat akin to that of the sun. She made no attempt to hide her power, displaying her presence to all beings who tried to peer towards her location.

“A divine beast controlling the power of the sun! Another troublesome creature has arrived, how annoying.”

“What just intervened to suppress the sandstorm? I sensed a different surge of Divine Power.”

“It seems to be another divine beast!”

“Two divine beasts? Interesting.”

“Shall we make a move and test them? That God of Yellow Sand seems weaker, apparently without even the desire to provoke this new entity.”

“Let’s wait and see. There will be some impatient ones eager to test the waters; we needn’t unnecessarily provoke such beings. Those endowed with the power of the sun are never easy to contend with.”

“Hmm, if it’s powerful enough, should we form an alliance with it?”

“Of course.”
