King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1308 - 1308 1293 How is the Daughter
Chapter 1308: Chapter 1293: How is the Daughter? Chapter 1308: Chapter 1293: How is the Daughter? “At last, it has calmed down!”
When the second strike came down, Muria, clutching the God-splitting Seal, noticed that there was no sign of resistance from under his hand anymore and couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction. This was the effect he was looking for.
The God-splitting Seal, as its name suggested, was a Divine Weapon forged for a certain kind of beings, crude in its method of use, but pursuing the purest form of lethality.
After the forging of a Divine Weapon was completed, it was natural to test its effects. However, Muria couldn’t go to Erathia and try out the weapon’s lethality on a True God, so picking an Abyss Lord for testing was a cost-effective choice.
After all, an Abyss Lord who stayed within its own territory could escalate its battle power to the level of a deity, qualifying it as a weakened version of a Demon God.
And just like deities, Abyss Lords also possessed the ability to resurrect after death in battle. Unlike deities, however, every Lord who wished to be resurrected smoothly had to ensure that the level of the Abyss they controlled was not seized by other powerful demons. The conditions for their resurrection were far more difficult than those for deities.
But for Muria, that didn’t matter; he had come to the Abyss to find a substantial target for his test.
“Let me take a look!”
Muria moved away the God-splitting Seal and looked down at the brand-new, neat little basin below. He could see a Lizardman lying at the bottom of the pit, flesh blurred and bones broken, with the side exposed to the sky completely flattened by the powerful impact.
“It’s still alive!”
Sensing the faint life force below like a candle in the wind, Muria frowned, then slowly relaxed his expression. Although it wasn’t quite what he had expected, the result wasn’t too bad.
After all, a normal Abyss Lord on its own turf could stand toe-to-toe with a True God. If he could reduce an Abyss Lord to such a state with just a couple of strikes, then it meant crippling a True God with a few more hits wouldn’t be a problem.
Of course, the specific conditions would need to be analyzed. True Gods with inferior divine power levels could be easily maimed, but those with intermediate strength and above probably wouldn’t be so easy to subdue.
“It still needs to be stronger, this isn’t good enough,” Muria said dissatisfiedly, looking at the ravines that spread out in all directions from the impact site of the God-splitting Seal on the Abyssal ground.
“Forget it, for a newly forged weapon, having such power is already quite good. Happiness lies in contentment.”
After suppressing his dissatisfaction, Muria comforted himself and then took out a Fixed Star Bead, collecting what was almost a corpse of the Lizardman Lord into it.
The Fixed Star Beads weren’t just a set of auxiliary equipment focused on containment; since the Exclusive Weapons of the Titan Race had growth potential, Muria held great expectations—or rather, ambitions—for the Fixed Star Beads.
His inspiration to request the Spirit of the Void to help forge the Fixed Star Beads came from the mythological tales of those beads which could evolve into the two dozen heavens, the Sea-calming Pearls.
Hence, Muria’s Fixed Star Beads also possessed certain space attributes, with each bead enclosing a small space spanning several kilometers. For now, these spaces had no other use than to collect the wreckage of Muria’s enemies.
“It’s time to check on Erathia!”
Putting away all the Fixed Star Beads and picking up the God-splitting Seal, Muria, with the Luo Tian Mirror suspended behind him, tore through space and left the Abyss that had been stirred by his intervention.
And just as his figure vanished, strong mental powers probed from all directions, scanning the layer of the Abyss that had nearly become demon-free due to Muria’s onslaught.
However, the beings behind these probes didn’t care about the demons that were nearly exterminated. It was well known that demons of the Abyss had an extremely terrifying reproductive ability, and it wouldn’t take long for this empty layer of the Abyss to be filled to the brim with demons fond of internecine warfare.
What these beings were interested in was the clear square imprint left on the ground of the Abyss and the lingering scent of the Titan Race in the atmosphere.
…
Boom—
When Muria entered Elasia, as expected, the rules resonated, and the mysterious and obscure Light of Law shimmered around him, with his Divine Attribute emerging before him.
Gazing at the Divine Attribute that had condensed in this world just for him, Muria smiled and pushed it away, thinking that the waters of Elasia were too deep. If he chose to ascend to godhood here, he could basically forget about making a name for himself; living quietly and waiting for death would suffice.
The position of the supreme ruler of the Erathia Great World… Muria didn’t even bother to entertain the thought, erasing that nearly impossible fantasy from his mind.
In that Cluster World, as an Epic Titan who hadn’t even broken through the Pseudo-realm, he might have hoped a little. He indeed had the chance to become the ruler of that unique great world, but Elasia? Forget it!
“Hmm!”
Just as Muria had rejected the Divine Attribute, he slightly raised his eyebrows. The commotion his return to the Erathia World had caused wasn’t as significant as that of his Dragon King grandmother Yarista back in the day, but it was still enough to alarm those gods who mostly had nothing to do.
But Muria didn’t want to be the focus of these deities; his return to Elasia could hardly be considered triumphant. Therefore, the Luo Tian Mirror floating behind him slowly turned, pulling certain rules, completely twisting and covering the information of his existence.
As a result, when those sitting upon their Divine Thrones looked towards the place where Muria had caused the change in the rules, they saw nothing, a void.
“What’s going on? Shouldn’t this fluctuation be one of the Creatures in our world who has successfully advanced to Epic outside and is causing a change in the rules upon their return?”
“These Law fluctuations are, indeed.”
“So, where is the newly advanced Epic? Where did they go? They disappeared too quickly! It’s like they’re intentionally avoiding us. Why bother? They’re already an Epic; hiding their tracks, what for? We wouldn’t do anything to them.”
“Hmm, perhaps this new Epic Titan feels they are not strong enough yet! The Law changes they caused are not as great as those of the Titans, but, times have changed, it’s not like the old days anymore.”
“Not strong enough?!”
In the Temple of All Gods, upon hearing this possibility mentioned by a mighty chief deity, the True Gods with only Inferior or low-level Divine Power couldn’t help but have question marks popping up in their minds.
Not strong enough when they’ve successfully ascended to Epic in the Void? Then what are they? It should be noted that even the weakest Epic could easily stand up to them in battle, and do so with ease.
…
“Do these gods have nothing better to do all day? The slightest disturbance and they all look over. They really have too much free time.”
Using the Luo Tian Mirror to conceal his form, Muria detected the divine senses trying to spy on him and severed his perception of those deities. Most deities might not be great in direct combat, but when it came to sensing, each of them was certainly not lacking.
“Sigh, truly unacceptable!”
Considering his own strength, Muria naturally did not feel any bit of grief as if he were sneaking around in the dead of night; by the standards of the Titan Race, having a realm above the Pseudo-realm was necessary to be considered returning home in glory.
“Let’s go see Xena Pus! I wonder how my daughter is doing now?”
After pushing aside other miscellaneous thoughts, other concerns surfaced in Muria’s heart. His eldest son Aeolus, naturally, he wouldn’t worry about—his strength was sufficient, and he had already ventured into the Void and was now in the midst of the Cluster World.
But the condition of his three other daughters was unknown. Based on the timeline, their strength should have advanced to the Legendary Peak by now, and they were almost ready to venture into the Void.
However, what Muria was concerned about now was something else. According to the unspoken rules of these top-tier Eternal Life Beings, every member of their race who wished to go to the Void had to leave behind Bloodline descendants before becoming infertile due to their formidable strength.
So, by now, his daughters should all have been married and even borne him grandchildren. But Muria had never heard any news related to them.
“Do I already have great-grandchildren?” A surge of exceedingly complex confusion rose in his heart, leaving Muria somewhat… unable to accept it.
