Chapter 1262 - 1262 149 Legion Battle

Chapter 1262: Chapter 149: Legion Battle Chapter 1262: Chapter 149: Legion Battle “Since you also claim to be a Pacifist, why then do you engage in conflicts and battles with us, creating strife that only breeds sadness and hatred?”

Just as Muria had declared his identity as a Pacifist, the vast collective will composed of an entire civilization’s collective consciousness, which resided within the marvel of a planet-level civilization, posed this question to Muria.

“Are you getting the order of events mixed up?” Hearing these seemingly peaceful race’s collective consciousness play the victim, Muria was amused by their bandit-like logic,

“You were the ones who attacked first, you initiated the dispute, and then we resisted, which led to the conflict.”

“Our actions were without fault. Every intelligent individual is different, and because of barriers, misunderstandings and various desires emerge, leading to conflicts and wars.

But if we use Vida to fuse our soul consciousnesses together, and then use SN Particles to allow everyone’s thoughts to interconnect, there will be no more communication barriers caused by differences in race or individuality, everyone can understand each other, and there will be no more strife.”

“Hmm, I see. So according to your logic, what you just did wasn’t an attack on me, but rather an attempt to integrate me into your group.”

“That’s correct, but you resisted our integration and continued to engage in conflicts with us, creating even greater strife and causing us significant losses.”

“So it’s still my fault, huh? Should I apologize to you then?” Muria raised an eyebrow and asked sarcastically.

“We do not need an apology from you. Simply abandon your useless shell and join us, and the world can return to peace once more.”

“Abandon my body and join you? I’m sorry, but I have never intended to do such a thing.” Muria immediately refused what could be described as a ludicrous invitation, as he would never give up his own power, not even if his brain malfunctioned.

“Why do you reject us? Don’t you love peace and abhor strife?” Puzzled thoughts streamed into Muria’s Sea of Spirits.

“That’s because our understanding of peace is different. Your version of peace, which forcibly strips away the individuality of a person, is nothing but a false peace.”

Muria had already grasped the basic situation, and had a rough guess as to the origin of this entity before him.

In this vast domain of the world, a race tormented by war was born. Perhaps due to the endless war, some exceptionally talented individuals grew weary, leading some extremely idealistic individuals to create SN Particles. Using these, they amalgamated the strength of their entire race to create Vida, and thus became what Muria was now witnessing.

Although this process must have been tumultuous with endless twists and turns, it roughly must have been as such. The relentless wars gave rise to a crazed race. They declared their pursuit of peace, but for the sake of this twisted peace, they eradicated even more races and lives.

“Heretic!”

After a long silence upon receiving Muria’s conveyed thoughts, the consciousness collective of Vida unleashed a surge of information filled with deadly intent.

The white particles that had been swarming around Muria’s body receded like a tide ebbing away, and then a dense swarm of silver-white metal shaped like locusts appeared in Muria’s field of vision.

Such an outcome did not surprise Muria; the race consciousness collective before him, which had already completed mechanical ascension, was a logical entity that could not be toppled by mere words.

Although speech can be a weapon, hoping to defeat a powerful transcendental being with rhetoric is nothing short of delusional; powerful beings are not swayed by mere words, for each one’s spirit has been refined to be as indestructible as Vajra.

As for those creatures born powerful and therefore lacking in a well-rounded spirit, well, their worldview and thinking are not even on the same level as lower life forms. Hoping to disturb them with words is as foolish as hoping for the moon.

“Planning to overwhelm me with sheer numbers? Too bad, the environment here is quite special, allowing my Legion to take a little stroll outside. It’s still not clear who will be besieging whom.”

Seeing the swarm of rhombus-shaped metal erupt from the depths of the planet-level wonder, Muria, who had already sensed the special nature of his surroundings, now witnessed a space rift extending nearly a thousand meters appear behind him. And as it emerged, it continued to expand and extend.

This was a Space Rift that had connected to Muria’s world, where Muria’s carefully nurtured Legion could descend en masse.

Muria dared to connect to his own world because he perceived that the place he was in was quite special, reminiscent of a Divine Kingdom that evolved independently of heaven and earth.

Of course, compared to a true semi-independent Divine Kingdom capable of constructing its own Law cycle, this place still fell short. However, it was more than enough to shield against the world’s will for a while, and under such conditions, Muria’s true form could freely unleash the power of the epic.

But Muria did not intend to waste this precious opportunity. It was an excellent chance to train his Legion. An enemy that could only fight by cloning others and was limited by the original’s upper limits was hard to find in the vast Void.
