King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1258 - 1258 1245 Civilization Weapon

Chapter 1258: Chapter 1245: Civilization? Weapon? Chapter 1258: Chapter 1245: Civilization? Weapon? “Indeed interesting!”

When Muria noticed that all the silver-white metallic constructs within view were converging towards him, he laughed.

“Give it your all and show me your power!”

Roar!

Upon receiving the master’s command, the Winged Serpent Dragon let out an excited roar. Destruction is a nature hidden in the bones of the Dragon Race, but for the Winged Serpent Dragon, it had to suppress its own nature.

But now, its restraints had been lifted. Thus, surging and scorching red spirit light ripples expanded from it as the center. The atmosphere boiled, and the temperature started to climb at a terrifying rate; then, orange-red flames appeared.

Powerful creatures, in their natural state, tend to transform the environment around them into one most suitable for their existence. And when they fight with all their might, their power naturally forms a domain most conducive to their own battle.

But, compared to the wildly excited Winged Serpent Dragon, these silver-white metals filling the sky ignored the domain filled with terrifying high temperatures.

In silence, they charged at the Winged Serpent Dragon, just as they had when they first appeared, with the momentum that seemed set to crush the enemy before them as they swarmed towards the Winged Serpent Dragon.

Then, as expected, the silver-white spiritual metal burst apart the moment it came into contact with the fire domain, which was still expanding and enlarging.

Bang! Bang! Bang…

Silver-white metallic powder scattered, but as some came into contact with the high-temperature domain filled with flames, they instantly evaporated. Some, under the intense heat of the flames, turned into molten liquid metal.

Thus, a magnificent and vast scene emerged. The black-scaled dragon with rune-like golden patterns on its wings flapped its four strong and powerful fleshy wings in the sky, dancing within, and the scorching high-temperature domain moved along with it.

The initial crazy expansion of the fire-filled domain had already stopped. The reason the domain had ceased to expand wasn’t due to the Winged Serpent Dragon’s lack of power to sustain a larger scale.

With the Winged Serpent Dragon’s power nearly reaching that of legend, it could support a domain large enough to cover an entire city when at full battle strength. The reason for the current state was that the expansive force of the domain was being suppressed by those silver-white metallic constructs that continued to assault it.

The energy depleted by these silver-white metallic creatures in their assault on the domain perfectly counteracted the force that would have expanded the domain, creating a balance. Therefore, the domain no longer expanded. Instead, it was replaced by a torrential downpour of silver-white liquid metal falling from the sky and bombarding the ground.

At first glance, it appeared the Winged Serpent Dragon had the upper hand in offense and defense, as these strange silver-white constructions couldn’t even break through its domain to attack its true body. But this situation quickly changed.

New types of silver-white metallic constructs, resembling floating jellyfish, emerged from the sky. Flexible metal tentacles drifted through the air, and from the core of these giant metal jellyfish, intense laser beams shot out towards the Winged Serpent Dragon.

These attacks were also unable to break through the Winged Serpent Dragon’s defenses—the lasers, containing powerful destructive forces, had their energy reduced by the time they reached its domain, and by the time they actually hit the Winged Serpent Dragon, they had little power left.

At most, they could only cause tiny sparks to fly off the dragon’s scales, which were harder than most metals, making the entire thing seem like a joke.

Although the attack seemed futile, in reality, Muria saw that the domain cast by the Winged Serpent Dragon was shrinking at a visible rate, the depletion of its power accelerating.

“With such numbers, no wonder the Yuguang Civilization’s exploration team was completely annihilated,” Muria thought. The battle outcome between his own blood-created minions and these silver-white constructions held no surprises—the defeat was certain.

Even though defeat was inevitable, this was within Muria’s expectations. If within this unknown domain even the Yuguang Civilization failed to explore, there existed forces that his minions could easily dispose of, that would be too disappointing.

“Cause as much destruction as possible,” Muria instructed the Winged Serpent Dragon, which was still exuding a vigorous momentum. He wanted to see how many special features these creatures, which didn’t seem alive but rather appeared to be weapons, had.

The Winged Serpent Dragon, having received Muria’s order, became even more ferocious. Although no matter how many of its enemies it destroyed, their numbers not only showed no signs of decreasing but instead seemed to increase, this wasn’t enough to diminish its fighting spirit, since its master stood atop its head.

Scorching flames mixed with wild thunder ravaged the metallic constructs in the air. Broken metal fragments fell like a storm, and as a price for this downpour, the Winged Serpent Dragon’s power continued to weaken.

This was a war of attrition, and the Winged Serpent Dragon was at an absolute disadvantage. Even if, for a short while, its output far exceeded that of these silver-white metallic constructs.

Soon, as time passed, the domain constructed by the Winged Serpent Dragon kept shrinking until it finally collapsed outright, leaving the formidable Dragon Race powerless to sustain it.

At this moment, an increasing number of jellyfish-like Mayfly Weapons in the field of vision launched a focused attack on the Winged Serpent Dragon. The unmitigated fury of the laser assault struck the dragon’s body, also affecting Muria.

“Just this level, winning by sheer numbers!” With no active defense awareness, Muria countered all the lasers that reached him merely by relying on his body’s instincts. However, he felt some disappointment because he had not seen what he wanted to see.

But in the next instant, the wonder Muria, the invader of this world, had wanted to see unfolded before him.

Although the focused laser attack was held off by the burst from the Winged Serpent Dragon, the rhombus-shaped metal constructs, just over a meter in size, took advantage of the dragon’s post-burst vulnerable period and swarmed up, touching its dragon body.

This time, the tiny metal constructs did not explode. Instead, they clung to the scales of the Winged Serpent Dragon and, without being scorched by high temperatures, they voluntarily turned into liquid metal and began to erode the dragon.

Roar!

Under Muria’s silent watch, the Winged Serpent Dragon let out a painful roar, and then the scorching spirit light burst forth from its body once more, forcibly expelling the liquid metal that had begun to invade its flesh.

This outburst further deteriorated the state of the Winged Serpent Dragon; its eyes even showed a very obvious sign of weakness, and for the first time, its body sustained an injury.

Some tiny scales could be seen being forcibly ripped from its body due to the explosion, causing fresh red flesh to be exposed to the air. However, the dragon’s naturally powerful vitality allowed for what could be considered trivial injuries to start healing rapidly.

But this war, considered tedious, began to change from this moment onwards. In Muria’s penetrating gaze, he saw the liquid metal that had stripped the scales from the Winged Serpent Dragon engulf them.

Then, using the liquid metal that had merged with the Winged Serpent Dragon scales or blood as a core, the surrounding rhombus-shaped metals surged and merged.

In just a moment, under Muria’s watchful eyes, twenty-eight massive spheres of liquid metal formed around him, churning and constantly shifting shapes.

Then, under the astonished gaze of the Winged Serpent Dragon, twenty-eight silver-white Winged Serpent Dragons of the same size and shape but silver-white in color spread their wings and flew out with robust roars.

The scene left the Winged Serpent Dragon stunned for a moment, but it immediately became enraged, feeling as if it had been affronted. Thus, the furious winged dragon, flapping its four flesh wings, charged at the silver-white Winged Serpent Dragons, determined to shred these impostors.

“Copying, huh!”

In just an instant, the Winged Serpent Dragon, full of anger, was defeated by its copies, letting out a cry of despair as it plummeted from the sky—its numerical disadvantage could not be compensated by its wrathful emotions.

And as his steed minions met their defeat, Muria left his usual spot and stood in the air, facing the twenty-eight silver-white Winged Serpent Dragons that turned their gaze toward him.

It was a gaze devoid of any emotion… To describe it as a gaze is not quite accurate, as these were not living creatures but weapons, something Muria could confirm.

“Interested in having a chat with me?”

Muria thought for a moment, then sent a soul communication to the silver-white creatures before him, even those that had replicated his minions, the Silver-white Dragons. Regrettably, the only response he received was the red and white laser guns spouting from the mouths of these Silver-white Dragons.

“Unable to communicate, eh? Or is it that you simply cannot hear the voice of the soul?”

As Muria pondered, he waved away the laser guns which had an energy signature completely different from his minions’ but whose power was by no means weaker.

This action triggered an even larger chain reaction, with the rhombus-shaped metals in the air merging into one another, forming more spheres of liquid metal, then under the smiling gaze of Muria, more Silver-white Dragons took flight, their roars filling the sky.

Subsequently, an incessant barrage of laser dragon breath enveloped Muria. Such a fierce attack forced Muria to raise his hand and form a barrier of light, and then there was no ‘then’.

The basis for these silver-white metal constructs’ imitation was merely his lesser minions, a Winged Serpent Dragon at the Peak of Soul Intent. Not to mention that these Silver-white Dragons’ power was nowhere near the original, even if it were comparable, they would stand no chance against him.

The gap between Soul Intent and Legend was vast as the earth is from the sky. Sheer numbers could indeed bridge this gap, but Muria was not a mere mortal; to be overturned by Soul Intent-level forces would be a disgrace, and numbers were no excuse.

And so, with such casual ease, Muria defended against all attacks, consequently drawing forth an even larger arsenal of weapons…
