King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1226 - 1226 113 You Unfilial Child
Chapter 1226: Chapter 113: You Unfilial Child Chapter 1226: Chapter 113: You Unfilial Child “This is the perspective of a mortal.”
For mortals, the girl’s words naturally seemed quite reasonable, but from Muria’s perspective, they meant nothing. He could now see the Golden Dragon Mother sleeping within the girl’s heart. This was the reincarnated body of his mother.
“I can confirm your identity.”
“On what basis can you confirm my identity? Why do you think I am your mom!” Areina’s temper flared. How could one casually claim such a thing? How could she continue in the Imperial Capital after this? She was still a virgin who hadn’t even touched a man.
“Through the true spirit!” Muria thought for a moment and then responded. In epics, forms can be transformed, only the true spirit remains unchanged.
“You, as you are now, are indeed not my mother. You are the reincarnated body of my mother, and you do not have the memories of being my mother, which is why you can say such things.”
Regarding the reincarnated body of the Golden Dragon Mother, Muria did not intend to deceive or hide anything; instead, he spoke openly with her. But clearly, sometimes facts can be hard to accept.
“Reincarnation?” Areina was dumbstruck. How could she argue against this phenomenon of soul reincarnation—it was unclear who could clearly define such matters, “You think I am your mother based on such an unfounded notion?”
“It might be unfounded to you, but in my eyes, everything can be clearly seen.”
Muria rubbed his forehead, “This matter needs no doubt; the facts are right here. Even if you refuse to admit it, it’s no use. I do not wish to argue with you any further.”
“Please, I’m only sixteen years old. Suddenly, a huge son like you appears; how am I supposed to deal with this in the future!”
Areina’s face showed signs of collapse. Such a thing was something she couldn’t accept in such a short period.
“What do you mean, ‘deal with’ it? Having such a strong son as I am now, isn’t that good?”
Muria’s face showed a look of surprise as he observed the youthful and vibrant girl before him. Could this little girl still not understand, could she not see how much stronger he was compared to her at this moment?
“What’s good about it, how can I get married in the future? I don’t want to live such a lonely life.” Areina was immediately upset and began to shout at Muria.
“Married? To whom do you intend to marry?”
Just in an instant, the air stiffened, and a suffocating pressure spread from Muria’s fiercely set eyebrows, covering the entire arena.
The knights brought by Areina all fainted under this terrifying pressure, while the Winged Serpent Dragon, which had swallowed a drop of Muria’s dragon blood, lay trembling on the ground.
The trembling sight of such a massive creature was somewhat amusing, yet the only witness to this scene, Areina, couldn’t laugh because the furious child before her had also scared her.
“What business is it of yours who I marry?” Despite being scared, Areina still did not back down and defiantly asked Muria.
“I am your son, it definitely concerns me whom you marry.”
“But since when do sons dictate their mothers’ choices?” Areina retorted.
“I have a father too!” Muria squinted his eyes, then with a somewhat inexplicable tone, he replied, “If you want to get married, you have to ask if he agrees or not.”
“Father? You mean to say I already have a partner?” Areina continued to be puzzled; she had a hard time grasping this.
“Of course, otherwise, how do you think I was born?”
“Then where is your father, my partner?” Areina asked with a hint of faint hope in her voice.
“I don’t know.” Muria spread his hands.
“You don’t know?”
“If everything went well, he would be in the same state as you, also reincarnated.”
“So you also don’t know where he is, right?”
“Right, I can’t even be certain of his race.”
“What do you mean?” The girl had a foreboding feeling.
She desired a partner, so seeing this sudden appearance of a son sparked an inexplicable hope. His existence proved that she once was an extraordinary being.
It also proved she once had a partner as powerful as the boy before her, which was exactly what she hoped for. However, given the boy’s tone, the reality might be different from what she desired.
“My father could have reincarnated into any creature—similar to a human like you, an extraordinary tree with wisdom, or even an underground insect…”
“Wait, stop talking.” Areina hastily interrupted Muria, images already forming in her mind. Her partner could be a tree or even an insect—what nonsense. If it were truly so, she would rather remain single forever.
“Fine, I’ll stop. Tell me about your situation. Marriage? Who do you plan to marry? Tell me; I’ll go kill him,”
Muria was still unable to suppress his anger; no matter what, he couldn’t tolerate anyone cuckolding his father.
Muria’s momentary release of killing intent conjured visions of mountains of corpses and seas of bones before Areina’s eyes, which made her realize that the child in front of her was not joking,
“What are you getting worked up about? I’m just entertaining the thought right now, I haven’t found a suitable candidate yet.”
The seemingly young and tender body radiated an incredibly intimidating aura, yet it did not frighten Areina, for a faint sense of kinship emanating from Muria prevented any fear from arising. Her sharp intuition told her that this child would not harm her.
“No suitable candidate?” Muria’s mood relaxed, and his rising anger began to subside.
“Exactly, the peers I met at the banquet were too worthless, I haven’t taken a liking to any of them.”
“I see, just like you back then, you were also extraordinarily selective, not satisfied with any dragon, until you met Father, and eventually became mates.”
Muria nodded thoughtfully. While the Golden Dragon Mother’s original consciousness had not awakened, it still influenced the thinking and personality of the reincarnated body.
“What was I like back then?” the girl asked with a hint of subtle curiosity. Although she was skeptical about everything Muria said, it did not stop her from inquiring about her past life.
“There’s no need for you to know that.”
Though the girl before him was the reincarnated form of his mother, her current state, devoid of awakened consciousness, as well as her status and insight, were not on the same level as his, and there really was no need for much interaction.
“Why is there no need? Tell me more, I might be able to recall memories of being your mother.”
“If only it were that simple,” Muria said with a smile and shook his head, “But tell me, why are you here? I’m curious, it’s so easy to run into you, though it could be chalked up to coincidence, coincidences can be arranged.”
“Me? The reason I’m here right now?” Areina pointed at herself and then naturally pointed to the splendid light suffusing the sky,
“It’s the Door to Another World behind you, of course. I wanted to come and see, to experience the scenery of another world. Is there a problem? This was a spontaneous plan, even my father doesn’t know.”“Adventure, travel, as expected.” Muria wasn’t too surprised; the Golden Dragon was a race known for their wanderlust. The Golden Dragon Mother, during her time in the Erathia World, loved to roam and uphold justice.
“But who is your father?”
“Duke Benedict, any problems with that?”
“No problem, I just want to accompany you back to meet him.” Though he wasn’t hopeful, Muria still planned to verify it personally; if it genuinely was his grandfather Dimos, who could say for sure about matters of coincidence.
“You want to come back with me?” Areina stepped back abruptly, looking as if she were about to lose her mind.
“Is there a problem?”
“No way, absolutely not.”
“I, a sixteen-year-old girl, go out and come back with a son as old as you, what will those people in the Imperial Capital think of me? Do I have no shame left?”
“You need not mind the eyes of the mundane, they are but fleeting clouds; in a thousand years’ time, look at those people, how many will remain in this world.”
“Don’t talk to me about that, you are lofty and transcend ordinary life, but I still need to live, I don’t even have memories of being your mother, we see things from completely different perspectives.
We are two beings that should have no interaction at all; don’t come back with me, just go do whatever you need to do, our mother-son connection is over.”
“That’s not for you to decide.” Hearing the resisting words from the girl, Muria smiled and gestured. The Winged Serpent Dragon that lay prostrate on the ground stretched its ferocious yet majestic head towards them, “I have the final say.”
The black-haired child with golden pupils took a step back gracefully, standing atop the craggy bone crests of the Winged Serpent Dragon, looking down from a high vantage point at his mother’s reincarnated form,
“I say you are my mother, thus you are. You can question, but that’s all you can do. Whatever I want to do, you can only accept now. For the power I wield is beyond your resistance.”
“You rebellious child!”
Seeing that the child clearly intended to overpower her with his force without reasoning, Areina grew furious.
“Call me whatever you like, but that’s settled then, I’ll be with you during this period.”
Muria didn’t care about her hardly offensive words, “Until my mother’s consciousness awakens.”
“My life is over!”
The blonde girl, who had never dreamed of encountering such a situation before embarking on her adventure, retreated a few steps and collapsed on the ground, letting out a lament.
“Mother, what do you want to do? Still want to explore through this door? If you wish, I can take you there,” Muria asked with a smiling gaze.
“No, I want to go home.”
“Alright!”
