King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1165 - 1165 1152 The Utterly Boring Newbie Epics

Chapter 1165: Chapter 1152: The Utterly Boring Newbie Epics Chapter 1165: Chapter 1152: The Utterly Boring Newbie Epics The giant looked regretfully toward the horizon where the slowly expanding, gradually dissipating mushroom cloud lingered. He really wanted to visit the place where the massive limb had fallen. Just the fall alone had brought such a vast change to the airspace it passed through; what then could the scene of its fall be like?

Unfortunately, this area, which was the center of the world wrapped in endless desolation and sheltered by the Eternal Divine Tree, had become completely isolated from the outside world.

However, the giant didn’t remain disappointed for long. Under the urging and excitement mixed with shock from his son, guided by his son’s direction, the giant looked up at the sky once more.

In the sky, a phenomenon nearly a hundred times bigger in scale than before occurred. It was still the huge, mountain-like remains of creatures, but this time the numbers were different.

There were hundreds of the creature’s remains, so vast that when they appeared in the sky, one could not help but feel a chilling terror, for anyone who saw these remains felt an intrinsic sense of insignificance.

But no matter what thoughts filled the hearts of creatures who gazed upon these remains of the Evil God, under the will of some great existence, entangled with the Light of World Law, they dragged streaks of light that lingered, plummeting from the sky.

The descent of the Evil God Remains was meant to bring renewal to the world, but at the onset of their descent, their immense mass brought destruction.

Mushroom clouds composed of dust bloomed one after another upon the desolate land of this world, followed by a series of particularly noticeable earthquakes.

This was a terrifying natural disaster capable of overturning the world’s order and causing catastrophic ecological disasters. Civilizations not yet detached from the surface would be wiped out in an instant.

But, unfortunately, there was nothing on this world; the place where the remnants of the Evil God fell was desolation upon desolation, devoid of creatures and plants. The impact of the massive limbs of the Evil God and the subsequent earthquakes could only change the terrain of the barren land.

The changing terrain of the barren land didn’t matter much as no plants grew there, nor did any life proliferate. It was freely smashed; if it made the existence who cast down the remnants of the Evil God furrow his brow, he would recite his last name backwards.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The land continuously trembled, waves of earthquakes of varying magnitudes coming one after another, seemingly endlessly, as the giant sat on the ground, his face full of shock, watching the now murkier sky just a few steps away.

As those massive limbs fell from the sky onto the ground, striking up mushroom clouds one after another, the sky, momentarily brightened by the passage of the limbs, was again filled with filth.

The world not only showed no signs of recovery but seemed to have worsened. However, fortunately, when the billowing dust tried to permeate the safety zone where the giant lived, it was all blocked by a now visible barrier.

The giant turned his head; he could see the Eternal Tree of Life behind him, connecting heaven and earth, now radiating a more brilliant blue-green spirit light than ever before.

“Is it the Divine Tree or the protection of the Sovereign?” The giant saw that the vibrations in his area were clearly different from the outside world and couldn’t help but secretly wonder. However, he soon laughed at his own doubts,

“No difference, the Divine Trees were planted by the Sovereign, and naturally, they count as the Sovereign’s protection too.”

Because of the Divine Tree suppressing the land, where the green grass grew, the impact of the earthquakes was far less severe than in the barren lands of the outer world. As the shaking grew stronger, a crack appeared at the edge of the land under the care of the Divine Tree.

After this crack appeared, it separated the land sheltered by the Divine Tree from the outer world, gradually expanding as the earthquakes intensified, evolving into a ring-shaped abyss that was bottomless.

Although the outside world seemed devastated once again, the giant still harbored hope, because he felt that the outside world was indeed changing.

When the earthquake, which lasted for three days and three nights, stopped, the giant found that his guess was not wrong. The dust thrown into the sky by the strikes was now falling, and the sky of the outside world was clearer day by day. He could once again see the scenes of the outer world.

Then he saw a miracle—a stubbornly growing blade of grass on the wasteland. Yes, it was a miracle. The giant knew well what the land outside the shelter of the Divine Tree was like; all signs of life had long vanished there, and it was impossible for plants to grow again unless a miracle happened.

The giant staggered forward incredulously. He wanted to cross the abyss nearly a hundred meters wide in front of him and enter the barren land to see that stubborn grass with his own eyes.

Then he did just that, and next, upheld by the Giant’s Bloodline-derived spirit light, he, once a mere mortal, walked over the Abyss as if treading on flat ground.

Astonishment, stupefaction, followed by sheer ecstasy, various emotions changed on the giant’s face. Then, with a hearty smile, he took bold strides over the Abyss, entered the Wasteland, then crouched down, gazing at the weeds sprouting from the barren soil as if beholding a rare treasure.

The giant’s act of stepping out of the Divine Tree Shelter likewise inspired the other giants and dragons within the shelter to do the same; they were curious about the effect the remains falling from the sky had on the world. Their powerful spiritual sense allowed them to sense some changes happening in the world.

When the fascinated giant realized many other giants and dragons were passing him by, flying towards the distance, he woke up as if from a dream and hurriedly followed them, for the source that could revive the earth once again lay far away; that was worth pursuing.

The giant followed the large troop, his face filled with shock as he now stood on a cliff, below which lay a vast impact prairie or, rather, a circular basin.

Given the surrounding terrain, it was clear that this vast plain had been formed by the huge impact of some massive object fallen from the sky.

Yet these were not what astounded him, what truly struck him was the dense primordial forest growing across the basin; it was nothing short of a miracle.

The giant could guarantee that this primordial forest had appeared only after the celestial event because he watched with his own eyes as it rapidly expanded outwards from the center of the impact plain.

On the outskirts of the primordial forest, plant seedlings jostled vivaciously from the barren land, and within mere moments, they grew into towering ancient trees and dense shrubs…

Seeing this scene unfold before him, the giant’s legs gave way, and he once again knelt and bowed deeply, his prayers had finally been fulfilled today.

Such scenes were not only unfolding before the giant in this basin but across most of this predominantly desolate world, where endless vigor erupted wherever the Evil God Remains fell, allowing the life-breathing greenery to cover the barren lands once more.

The changes happening in the world were witnessed from start to finish by the unlucky Muria, who had been transported into the Void. After all, surrounded by Void, Muria, utterly bored with nothing else to do, chose a random direction and sped forth.

Thus, most of his attention was focused on the world he controlled, observing the peculiar transformations it underwent after devouring the Evil God Remains.

His world, except for the central area which was his originally controlled Semi Plane vibrant with vitality, the rest of the vast areas were those previously eroded by the Evil God, desolate and dead, devoid of any life.

But as the Evil God Remains were digested by the World Law, turning into the most basic nutrients nurturing the land, the barren lands began to exude vigorous life once again.

Once a destructor of many worlds, cursed by billions of creatures as a symbol of death and destruction, the Evil God, upon being slain and turning into a source to nurture a soon-to-be-desolate world, embodied an utterly ironic transformation.

“Sigh, the waste was too harsh,” murmured Muria as he beheld his world regaining vitality while wandering through the Void.

The Evil God Remains he had cast into his world, theoretically, could have transformed into more than three standard units of source power, but he had obtained less than one-tenth of a standard unit.

The reason was simple; his world needed the nutrients from the disintegrated Evil God to rekindle its vitality. He could have forcefully refined all the Evil God Remains into source power despite the world’s ruination, but such an act would have been shortsighted.

Why would Muria do something like that? He currently had no urgent need for source power. Plus, if the vitality of his small world was completely restored, he could augment himself with the world’s power, capable of confronting beings from Pseudo-realms and effortlessly outclassing those of refined source.

Once he encountered equals in the Void, he could maintain composure in advance or retreat, following his heart’s dictates. As for encountering a Creator-level Epic, well… upon sighting, just run. In his journeys through the Void, he never expected a stranger more powerful than himself to harbor any goodwill.

At first, Muria frequently observed his world’s transformations as he moved forward in the Void, but as time elapsed and years passed, Muria grew tired; there really wasn’t much to see, as he understood everything by heart.

Just as Muria was calming his emotions, preparing to hone his mindset in this darkness of the Void, which could drive ordinary creatures mad in moments, Prayer-like voices, dreamy and illusory, began to echo beside his ears and naturally piqued the interest of this bored, new Epic.
