King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1163 - 1163 1150 All is Ready

Chapter 1163: Chapter 1150 All is Ready Chapter 1163: Chapter 1150 All is Ready High above in the sky, one could see a staggeringly large object descending, having roughly the appearance of a creature’s limb. Yet by its size, it would leave anyone speechless.

It was a creature’s limb, larger than the Mountains, and it was not hard to imagine how terrifyingly powerful its owner must have been. Yet such a being had been gravely injured and might even have been killed.

For there were clear signs of tearing and chopping on the fallen limb, likely the spoils of war from some towering being, most likely the ruler who controlled this entire world.

The Titan looked up at the sky, and after getting a clear view of the entity that caused the sky to change color, disappointment was evident in his eyes. The change he desired was not like this.

In his understanding, the savior who had saved the remaining Human populace was his current ruler, possessed of mighty powers to transform the environment, capable of restoring this entire Desolate World.

So the Titan waited here every day, hoping to see the barren wasteland covered with life, an expectation impossible by the world’s natural evolution.

This was because compared to the region where he now stood, the barren area outside was far too extensive. The only reason it hadn’t been eroded by the outer wasteland and absorbed vitality in reverse was due to the Divine Tree Shelter.

Thus, he had pinned his hopes for change on the ruler, hoping the ruler would make a move. However, after a not-so-long wait, the resultant change was completely different from what he had expected.

He could not understand why the ruler would throw such a massive carcass down into this already broken world—was he treating this barren world as a dump?

The Titan, disappointed, slowly turned around to leave. He didn’t want to watch any more of this striking spectacle. Such a scene was nothing new to him as he had seen it before during his transformation from a human to a titan.

But as he turned around, he noticed his son, who had horns on his forehead and a tail on his back, looking up at the sky with great interest, constantly making amazed sounds.

“Let’s go, back home. There’s nothing good to see here.”

“No, Father, this is a spectacle that’s rarely encountered in a lifetime. Let me watch a bit more.” Seeing his powerful Titan father trying to take him home, the Dragon Person immediately showed reluctance.

“Suit yourself.” The Titan shook his head, ready to go home and train his combat skills, aspiring to become a competent Titan.

“Father, you don’t watch such a magnificent scene? Have you seen similar events before?”

“I have.”

“Wow, Father, so you’ve already witnessed this world-cleansing spectacle. No wonder.”

“World-cleansing.” The Titan noted the adjective his son used. He abruptly turned his head, looking once more towards the sky.

Then, the scene that unfolded before his eyes vastly contradicted his predictions. The carcass, which should simply fall from the sky and strike the Wasteland according to his original assumption, was indeed falling, but during this descent, the carcass displayed, or perhaps induced, wonders he had never imagined.

He saw streaks of light extending across the sky and beyond from the falling carcass—these lights, wrapping around the carcass, spread out in all directions, filling the sky.

As the carcass continued to fall, he saw more and more light spontaneously appearing from the sky, entwining around the carcass. The amount of light kept increasing, yet it seemed to have no effect on the carcass, whose descent toward the ground was not slowed.

But when the Titan focused his vision, carefully observing the carcass getting closer to the ground, he noticed that the parts of the carcass enwrapped with increasing amounts of light were turning luminescent, specks of light scattering from the carcass and merging into the streams of light.

In other words, these radiant and splendid lights were dissolving, or rather, digesting the carcass. The effect was quite evident.

The Titan could see that wherever the streams of light drifted across the sky, all the impurities were purified. The raging winds were calmed, and the swirling dust in the high sky settled; in just a few moments, the airspace where the carcass fell seemed much cleaner.

“It truly is world-cleansing!”

Watching this scene, the Titan couldn’t help but widen his eyes, hope rekindling within him. This was exactly the scene he had wished to witness.

Thus, the Titan stared intently at the massive limb, anticipating the changes it would bring upon hitting the ground.

He did not have to wait long. The carcass, now wrapped in light that had materialized from nowhere, crashed into the ground, making a profoundly intimate contact with the Wasteland.

Boom———

A massive mushroom cloud visible to the naked eye arose from the horizon, and not long after, a strong vibration emanated from afar.

“Stay here, don’t wander off, I’ll be back soon,” he said.

Seeing the limb fall to a place he couldn’t even see, Titan became restless. He instructed his Dragon Son beside him and then strode forward, preparing to step out of the safe zone and into the wasteland.

Before his son could even speak up to stop him, Titan had already left the grass-covered, vibrant safe zone and his feet had just touched the gravel when, in a daze, he saw his son’s figure again, without even realizing what had happened.

“How did you?” Titan was about to question how his son had gotten in front of him, but the soft touch of the grass under his feet immediately told him that he hadn’t left at all, he had just returned to his original position.

With a sense of uncertainty, Titan eyed the clear boundary line between the verdant grass beneath his feet and the barren land, gritted his teeth, and charged forward again; yet, as soon as he set foot in the wasteland, he found himself back beside his son, just like before.

Doubtful and frustrated, the man tried several more times with the same result. Eventually, he just sat down defeatedly on the ground, staring at where the remains had fallen.

Without a doubt, this strange scene made Titan realize that this was definitely related to the Overlord. In this moment, no one could step out of the safe zone, which indeed was the case.

Meanwhile, Muria was eagerly tossing chunks of the Desolate Evil God’s remains into his own world, having just tasted the sweet benefit of his world devouring the remains.

“How does it feel?” Seeing Muria successfully extracting a larger piece of the Evil God’s remains and throwing it into his world, and observing the changes, Dimos asked with a cheerful smile.

“Very good,” Muria said, a hint of excitement in his tone. Though he had heard about it, actually experiencing the benefits of his world devouring the Evil God’s remains still brought about a sense of surprise.

“I hadn’t expected that source power could be refined from the remains of an Evil God.” Muria extended his palm, and on his broad hand, a faint thread of source power appeared.

This source power was newly acquired. Before this, there was not a trace of source power on him, as all the source power he got through reincarnation had been completely used up.

“Isn’t that to be expected? Every Epics, including these Evil Gods, use source power. Since it can be used up, it can naturally be re-refined,” Dimos explained.

“Evil God!” Muria’s breathing grew heavy, his eyes gleaming with a radiant light, and the Furious Wind Thunder echoed between his breaths, representing the power he now held.

Although he was reluctant to admit it, he had to say that even though he had only tried a small taste, he was hooked on it.

“There are still some here, all of it’s yours, take it! You’re about to travel through the Void soon and will need some source power as a basic battle reserve,” Dimos said, pointing to the sealed remains of the Evil God.

These remains naturally tried to converge and reform the Desolate Evil God, but they were all sealed, unable to merge, leaving only their instinctual consciousness.

Some tried to evolve into independent living entities, but each time they began to foster consciousness, the Magic Array sealed on them forcefully shattered it.

“These are all mine.” Muria looked at the Meat Mountains beside him, his eyes twinkling with excitement, but then he remembered something very important, “Is the Desolate Evil God dead?”

“He’s still alive, but his current state is more painful than death,” Dimos replied with a smile.

The golden Dragon King gestured towards the remains he’d brought for Muria, “Most of his real body is here, with only a small part barely maintaining his existence.”

“Where is he now?”

“Where else could he be? Since you Titans discovered this Evil God, of course, he’s in the Eternal Sky City!”

“Ah.” Muria held a moment of silence for the Desolate Evil God and then excitedly gathered some of the remains that could probably reconstitute two or three full bodies of the Desolate Evil God, throwing them into his fractured world.

Then, Muria squinted his eyes, sensing the changes occurring after the Evil God’s remains fell into his world. But before he could relish the experience, Dimos’s voice arose beside his ear.

“Well, since you’ve collected all the remains of the Evil God, here’s the last thing you need for your upcoming journey through the Void,” Dimos announced.

“Hmm?” Muria, who had already spoken with his immediate family and prepared for a long separation from them, looked towards his Dragon King grandfather.

“Whoo!”

A lofty and robust cry echoed in the Void. Muria looked in the direction of the sound and immediately saw a majestic white figure breaking through the World Barrier, racing towards him.
