King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1156 - 1156 1143 Pushing the World Forward

Chapter 1156: Chapter 1143: Pushing the World Forward Chapter 1156: Chapter 1143: Pushing the World Forward “I remember you have a legendary chain named Star Cloud,” a dragon claw grasped several writhing tentacles, while another held a large chunk of flesh torn from the body of the Evil God, emanating a filthy aura. The Dragon King twisted his head to inquire of Muria.

“Yes.” Muria, who had participated in this one-sided bullying of the Void Evil Gods, nodded and summoned a radiant chain that seemed to be condensed from the Star River.

“I don’t have anything suitable on me right now, so let me borrow your chain for the time being as the core of a temporary seal. Once we’ve taken this guy back, we can release the seal and then suppress him again.”

“Alright!” Muria agreed crisply. The Star Cloud Chain had been forged with the purpose of trapping and sealing enemies from the very beginning.

“A fine chain, but unfortunately it’s somewhat falling behind your pace now.”

Dimos took the Star Cloud Chain and examined it, remarking that for a legend, a chain forged from Void Star Gold and a mixture of nearly ten other Legendary Metals was a top-tier Divine Artifact, but it still wasn’t quite enough in his eyes.

“Let me help you this once,” the Dragon King chuckled, and a Golden Dragon Flame ignited upon the dozen or so wildly squirming tentacles of the Evil God that he held in his claw.

Although this flame appeared no different from the ordinary Flames expelled by common financiers in its outward form, its essence was worlds apart. This was the external manifestation of the Law of Flames that Dimos understood and controlled.

Under the purification of the Dragon Flames, tiny fanged mouths began to grow on these Evil God tentacles, issuing desperate and agonizing screams within the flames, presenting a bizarre spectacle.

However, those screams soon vanished within the flames. What was once a tentacle, full of vitality and seemingly with its own will, withered and shrank in the fire, then turned to dust and disappeared.

Yet, although the tentacles had vanished, within the Golden Dragon Flame that Dimos held in his palm, emerged more than a dozen crystal-clear droplets of blood.

The blood droplets exerted a majestic pressure that could make mortals tremble and bow. As soon as they appeared, even the Dragon Flames summoned by Dimos trembled slightly.

But the flames soon stabilized and continued to purify the transparent droplets, or more precisely, the Blood Essence of the Evil God.

“That should be about right.” After the Dragon Flames had purified the Evil God’s Blood Essence for a moment, and its volume had reduced by more than half, Dimos extinguished the flame in his hand contentedly and turned to Muria. “Did you see that clearly?”

“I saw it clearly.” Muria had been observing every move Dimos made since he ignited the flame, as his grandfather had intentionally taught him without much concealment, so Muria saw everything very clearly.

“If you ever come across the remains of Epics in the future, you can use this method to extract them. Then you’ll obtain these versatile substances,” Dimos said, showing Muria the Evil God’s Blood Essence he had refined.

“These toys have many uses; when injured, you can draw on their life force to heal. They can also be used to cultivate special plants or for refining medicine. Right now, I’ll show you one of their regular uses: weapon enhancement.”

With that, under Muria’s watchful eye, Dimos integrated all the Blood Essence of the Evil God he had refined into the Star Cloud Chain floating beside him.

But the moment the Evil God’s Blood Essence touched the Star Cloud Chain, the chain let out a pained tremor, and cracks began to appear on it, as if it were about to explode.

However, Muria, witnessing his Exclusive Weapon undergo such a transformation, remained calm because as its master, he knew better than anyone what state the chain was in.

The Star Cloud Chain certainly didn’t explode. It was merely undergoing a transformation. As it cracked open, the Evil God’s Blood Essence slowly dispersed into the fissures, filling them up.

Afterward, when all the fissures were filled, the Star Cloud Chain shone with a Radiance more dazzling than before, resembling a miniature Star River shrunk by countless billions of times.

“Enough showing off, let’s seal this Evil God quickly. There’s another one we need to deal with, so don’t dawdle; we’ve got plenty of work to do.”

At that moment, an impatient voice called out. It was Blazing Sky God Arudiba, who was using his sword to suppress the Evil God, restraining the healing of the Desolate Evil God’s wounds.

“What’s the rush? I just enhanced the power of the chain a bit to prevent any mishaps later that would waste our time.”

Impatient as the Blazing Sky Gods were, Dimos was even more so. He cast the scintillating, formless chain into the Void, and under his command, the Star Cloud Chain expanded wildly, as if truly becoming a brilliant Star River stretched across the Void.

Soon, amid the wails of the Evil God, he was completely enveloped by the Star Cloud Chain that now spanned countless miles in the Void. Using this as the core, multiple extensive and complex sealing Magic Arrays were set up to temporarily imprison him.

“Come, Muria, this is yours.”

After the sealing was complete, Dimos stretched out his claws and yanked a metal ball that seemed to be tightly wrapped in chains, flinging it in front of Muria.

“Give it to me.” Receiving the Nebula Chain Ball, which was connected to his own bloodline but whose power was many times greater than before, Muria was somewhat astonished.

“Exactly, it’s originally yours,” Dimos said with an air of it being obvious.

“But, this Evil God…” Although it looked just like a metal ball to someone standing by, Muria could clearly sense the core, where the injuries were rapidly healing and the Evil God inside was trying to break free from its restrictions.

“That’s also yours, you decide how to handle it.” Dimos, who had a spouse that had become incredibly wealthy overnight, didn’t care about the profits brought by a mere Evil God, so he was being exceptionally generous in front of Muria.

“But I barely participated in this battle.” Muria was very self-aware; even if he joined in, even with Michaela’s help, it wouldn’t have been possible to leave behind the Evil God, let alone seal it.

The battle was entirely dominated by Dimos, with Blazing Sky God Arudiba assisting. Although Muria with Michaela also participated, the damage he caused compared to these two elders was nearly negligible. Even without them, the outcome of the battle wouldn’t have changed.

“If I tell you to take it, just take it. Why the hesitation? This isn’t the Titan way of doing things. Although the Evil God is indeed for you, it’s not entirely yours—half of it belongs to my granddaughter,” the Blazing Sky God suddenly interjected while standing sword in hand within the Void, not forgetting to secure benefits for his granddaughter.

“Half?” Dimos twisted his long dragon’s neck and widened his eyes in surprise at Arudiba, “You bird god, opening your mouth and asking for half just like that, you really have the nerve to say it.”

“What, is there a problem?” With external threats removed and internal disputes arising, Blazing Sky God Arudiba once again confronted Dragon King Dimos.

“Big problem, why should you get half?” Dimos asked Blazing Sky God Arudiba with an imposing air,

“Did you not keep count of who stood at the very front in that last battle? Are you unclear about who exerted the most effort? And whose items were used for the sealing? Did you not see? Where do you get the nerve to say what you just did?”

“You being able to appear here, whose achievement is that? Have you forgotten?” Blazing Sky God Arudiba couldn’t help but reach out and touch his handsome cheek, remembering the bitter price he had paid for coordinates of a small world, a memory that would probably haunt him for the rest of his life.

“Oh.” Dimos paused, his lips curling slightly as if he wanted to laugh, but perhaps to preserve the dignity of the fellow in front of him and to prevent him from losing his temper, he suppressed his urge to smile.

“Muria, this sealed Evil God is part of the shared property between you and your spouse. How you’ll distribute it is for you to discuss, alright?” Dimos said, deciding to throw the problem to Muria and not argue with Arudiba, seemingly considering the tragic price paid by the latter to reach this place.

“Sure.” Muria, still pondering how to handle the Evil God, nodded. There was nothing much to argue about between him and Michaela, given their understanding of each other—a fifty-fifty split would do.

“Actually, it doesn’t have to be too troublesome. If we can drag out the little guy hiding inside, then there would be no need for Muria and Michaela to discuss how to divide it.”

Dimos’s eyes looked down towards the world with an ill-intentioned gaze, making the Desolate Evil God hiding within it shudder, having witnessed the downfall of the Thorn Evil God and now sensing he might follow in those footsteps.

“Dimos, do you think just because you’ve integrated more than a dozen drops of source power you’re invincible in the Void? You’ve become so arrogant. Look closely, this is a medium-sized world, and unless we ask for help again, we by ourselves won’t be able to break through its defenses,” Arudiba stated, his words tinged with an indiscernible sourness, seeing as Dimos was acknowledged as the luckiest husband in Elasia.

After all, who wouldn’t desire a spouse possessing nearly a hundred drops of source power and willing to share?

“Why break it?” Dimos looked surprised at Arudiba, “Are the Blazing Sky Gods of the Boundless Heavenly Realm always this rigid in their thinking?”

“What do you intend to do?” Arudiba asked, somewhat curious.

“Since an Epic is controlling the defenses inside, indeed we cannot break through, but as this is only a medium-sized world, combined we could push it.”
