Chapter 1148 - 1148 1135 The Evil God with an Explosive

Chapter 1148: Chapter 1135: The Evil God with an Explosive Mentality Chapter 1148: Chapter 1135: The Evil God with an Explosive Mentality In response to Muria’s taunting words, the Desolate Evil God made no reply; once the enemy had been determined, there was no need to continue the exchange.

What needed consideration was how to defeat him… well, that seemed unrealistic. So the better option would be to engage him for a while and then find an opportunity to retreat.

Even though the hostility between the two had been firmly established, the Desolate Evil God still had no intention of fighting Muria to the death, the reasoning being the same: winning brought no benefits, while losing would be even worse, so it would be best not to fight at all.

“Damo Sword, come!”

Muria called out to the world behind him, and instantly a radiant golden sword rainbow burst forth, accompanied by a crisp sword cry echoing in the void, and landed in his hands.

“Well done just now!”

Grasping the sword in his hand, which was connected to his bloodline, Muria offered praise, and as soon as his words fell, the Damo Sword’s blade brightened and dimmed in turn, its light flickering as golden arc light sparked along the blade—the sword was excited.

As Muria’s strength continued to rise, the exclusive weapon gestating within his body also saw a surge in spirit. However, regrettably, the enhanced spirit of the exclusive weapon did not provide as significant a boost to Muria as it had before.

Compared to the increase in attacking power the exclusive weapon provided to Muria, its intrinsic hard material was more noteworthy, though still of some use.

After offering the praise, Muria said no more to the Desolate Evil God and, holding his sword, cleaved a stroke towards the head of the Evil God, summoning a terrifying burst of sword radiance in the void that surpassed what had risen in the world before.

Underneath this golden stroke of sword radiance, everything within the perception of the Desolate Evil God was bisected, and a stabbing pain that reached deep into his soul emerged, signaling how dire the consequences would be if he were to withstand this strike.

However, as an Evil God who had rampaged through the void and destroyed numerous worlds, the Desolate Evil God still had considerable resources. His seemingly weak behavior was merely a facade manifested after weighing the pros and cons.

“Roar!”

The roar of the Evil God resonated through the void, and before Muria’s sword radiance could hit him, he extended a sickle leg, vastly different from the claw he had stretched out earlier, to meet the sword radiance that seemed poised to cleave his body in two.

Clang!

The sound of metal clashing rang out, and in the moment that noise sounded, thousands of the fastest-running minions of the Evil God, preparing to join their sovereign’s battle with Muria, exploded like roses blooming in the darkness.

Then, fine particles of Sword Qi scattered in all directions, erasing these freshly bloomed ‘flowers’ from the void completely, an extremely tyrannical force even in defeat.

“Quite clever, truly worthy of an Evil God,” Muria commented with a raised eyebrow, observing the sickle leg extended by the Desolate Evil God. On this appendage was a mere shallow Sword Mark, the result of his recent strike.

It appeared to have caused only negligible damage to the Desolate Evil God, not even piercing his outer skin, but in reality, this strike would have been enough to sever the claw the Evil God had just grown completely.

Therefore, the reason this result occurred is because the Sickle Leg of the Desolate Evil God is extraordinary; unless there’s an accident, this Sickle Leg should be the hardest part of the Evil God’s entire body.

Because this Sickle Leg is made entirely from a blend of Legendary Metal-grade materials. If Muria’s guess is correct, the Desolate Evil God has infused all the Legendary Metals it collected into this Sickle Leg.

Thus, this very Sickle Leg possesses the characteristics of being unbreakable and nearly immortal, traits that are common to all Legendary Metals.

Muria’s ability to leave marks on Legendary Metal also demonstrates the terrifying extent of his power; after all, to leave marks on this Sickle Leg, his attack had to not only exceed the defenses of the Legendary Metal but also penetrate the Evil God’s own power defenses.

“But how many such Sickle Legs can you have?”

Muria wasn’t looking down on the Desolate Evil God; it’s just that materials of the caliber of Legendary Metals, which even Deity-level beings of the Epics could use, were mostly produced in large worlds.

In the vast majority of small worlds, even digging up the entire land wouldn’t yield a single piece, while in medium-sized worlds, if one was lucky, they might find a small quantity.

Of course, this quantity is far from sufficient for an Epic being. Heaven knows how many worlds the Desolate Evil God had to destroy to collect enough Legendary Metals to fully transform a Sickle Leg.

Being a world destroyer, he couldn’t approach any large world; no large world would welcome his presence, effectively cutting off his access to resources from large worlds.

“Buzz!” “Buzz!” “Buzz!”

…Under the indifferent gaze of the Desolate Evil God, one weapon after another, every bit as formidable as the one in his hands, appeared behind the body of the Titan and Dragon offspring, as if mocking him.

The appearance of the nine weapons confirmed the Desolate Evil God’s thoughts—that this offspring of Titan and Dragon was definitely a being he should not provoke at the moment.

The mere number of Legendary Metals he possessed indicated that he must be from a large world, and behind him, there likely stood a group with terrifying strength.

This battle could not continue, and even if it had to, it must be ended quickly, with a retreat as the goal. In contrast to Muria’s ever-increasing battle fervor, the Desolate Evil God became increasingly cold.

He understood all too well the difference between having a background and not having one. If he were to perish here and now, he would just be dead, with no entity to avenge him because all ties with him would be erased.

Conversely, if this being before him were to fall by accident, it was highly probable that an ancient Epic would appear and seek vengeance for him.

“Hahaha, come, let us battle!” The innate battle blood of the Titan Tribe was already boiling in Muria’s veins; clad in the Saintly Imperial Abyss, he brandished the Prison-suppression halberd in one hand and the Demonsweeper sword in the other, with golden vital qi surging behind him.

And as Muria was preparing for a great battle with the Desolate Evil God, sacred and vast crimson Flames broke through the ocean of vital qi and landed next to him.

Seeing such a sight, the Desolate Evil God’s mentality exploded on the spot. It was bad enough dealing with a second-generation Epic-born, but now another one had appeared…
