Chapter 99: Alone In The Alpha’s House

At the same time, Daren was still recovering from his wound. He was now able to leave his bed and walk around Axel’s house, but he was not yet allowed to leave the house or do anything other than sit and watch TV.

"There are still many things I haven’t seen in his house. Now he’s just left me alone because he has to make a report at his headquarters. But well, at least he left me with some food at home," Daren muttered as he opened the refrigerator and looked at the food stored for him.

He then wandered around the kitchen to warm up the food while seeing what he could find there.

"I wonder what the base is like. Is it like in the movies? Before I knew it, my boyfriend was an agent himself. It’s like being in an action movie."

When the food was finished heating in the microwave, Daren went to Axel’s room to check out the latest news on the internet using the man’s laptop. Axel let Daren use his laptop because his Omega kept whining.

Having no other choice, he lent it to him and from there Daren saw a lot of things that were being talked about outside. Given that his cell phone was still off.

"Why does Zach still talk like he’s my boyfriend? Why does that guy keep doing interviews when he has nothing special to do with me. The media loves to do things like this nowadays."

He idly tried to open the files on his Alpha’s laptop. Thinking maybe he would find something interesting there. However, everything was locked and he could not even access it at all except the Browser. "That really sucks-"

Daren looked back at the news on the internet and ITube. "It turns out that I missed a lot while I was still lying in bed. Even my fans are going crazy like this just to look for me? I hope they don’t do weird things to find me."

Daren kept busy using his boyfriend’s laptop without knowing that Axel was watching him from the cam on his own laptop. He had intentionally connected the laptop camera to an app he had created for his cell phone.

The man looked at his cell phone that was connected to his laptop camera, looking at Daren’s face that was focused on the laptop screen. Every now and then the blond Omega would laugh as he watched a funny video.

Axel smiled faintly when he saw it, which made the nearby Wilfred tease him.

"Someone is watching his own boyfriend like a stalker watching him from a camera like that," his workmate teased.

Axel immediately frowned and his smile faded, as if caught watching Daren from a distance. He snorted in annoyance and rolled his eyes.

"Shut up!"

The man laughed at his friend’s embarrassed reaction to being caught watching his Omega on his cell phone.

"You were supposed to be working on the report of our last assignment before we get our next mission. But it’s been 30 minutes since you’ve been paying attention to your Omega," Wilfred said as he saw how Axel was busy with his cell phone.

"I know I know. I’ll get right on it," he said then put down his phone and refocused on the computer screen in front of him.

"But I’m serious, why don’t you bite your Omega to bonding him? Shouldn’t you be bonding that guy so that no other Alpha gets close to him. That Omega of yours is too attractive for many Alphas to resist."

Hearing that, Axel immediately turned to his partner with a sharp look, thinking that Wilfred was interested in Daren. However, the man immediately explained that he was just saying it from his point of view because Daren did look attractive.

"Don’t get me wrong, I already have my own omega after all. I’m just warning you so that no other Alpha does it before you," he said.

For a moment Axel was silent thinking about the answer he would give, remembering something that had been kept secret from the beginning. but he finally answered Wilfred’s question.

"I did it on purpose because I saw that he was not ready to accept bonding from me. Plus he comes from a different family than me, there are many things that might have to be discussed between me and him first. And all his family problem still around him."

"Don’t all Omegas love it when their Alpha bonds with them? I’m sure he’s waiting for you too," he teased.

He said how Daren with his pleading face, asked Axel to bond him. "Oh Vic, bond me. Make me all yours, let me be your only Omega," he said trying to imitate Daren’s voice.

Again the Alpha wrinkled his forehead, and the image of Daren asking him to bite him really popped into his mind. But he tried not to imagine it any further because if it was like that, he wanted to go home and bite his Omega.

Because he kept getting annoyed, Axel shoved a piece of bread into Wilfred’s mouth to shut him up.

"You’re too loud!"

Wilfred almost choked as Axel forced the bread into his mouth. But he was lucky to swallow it after drinking some water.

"You tried to kill me? Huft... I almost lost my breath."

But Axel didn’t care and he was busy making a report on his computer, he wanted to finish it soon so he could get home quickly and hug his Omega while inhaling his pheromones. Having him alone without anyone who would disturb them later.

In the afternoon after returning from the headquarters, Axel stopped at a convenience store not far from his house. He got off his sport bike. Still wearing his helmet, he walked into the convenience store and bought groceries and snacks for Daren.

"Excuse me, sir, could you please take off your helmet for a moment while you pay?" the cashier asked.

He took off his helmet and paid for the food he bought, without realizing that someone had photographed him from a distance. After paying, Axel put his full-face helmet back on and rode his motorcycle away from the convenience store.

When he arrived home, Daren immediately greeted him by walking up to him.

"Welcome home, Vic!" he greeted.

"Why do you look so round? Did you finish all the food in the fridge?" Axel asked as he took off his jacket.

"Huh?! That’s rude! I’m not that rude to eat all the food in the fridge!"

Without answering anything, Axel lifted Daren’s body and sat him on his lap as he sat on the sofa. He hugged the Omega’s body and nuzzled his face into his neck.

"Just got home from work, you’re already like this," Daren said with a chuckle and rubbed Axel’s head.

He was happy that he was finally home and with him again.

Meanwhile, Mike woke up to a message from one of his informants. As soon as he opened it, it turned out to be a photo of Axel that he managed to get.

"This is... It’s really him!"
