Chapter 82: Increasing Popularity

Episode one of Under One Roof was premiering after going through the editing and other processes. Daren went to the SS27 channel building to see for himself how many people were watching the show which was the first episode about him and Zach.

"I’m really curious and excited too! Did you hear when Ruby called earlier? It’s taking the internet by storm! It even got 50,000 likes!" said Daren happily as they were on their way.

Axel could only listen as he focused on driving. He didn’t want to ruin his Omega’s happy moment. Plus he was still unhappy every time he remembered the filming of Under One Roof two months ago.

"Yes, I heard about it. Congratulations on that," he said briefly.

"Thank you! I still didn’t expect this day to come," Daren said with a chuckle, finally arriving at the building and being allowed to enter after getting a pass.

Chen, who was the holder of the television program, invited Daren and Axel to enter and then went to a room where they monitored the rise and fall of the popularity of a television program.

"Our program was a huge success! They liked it a lot even though there were some who didn’t, but that was covered by them enjoying our program with you and Zach as the first episode," he explained and showed them the contents of the room where Zach was also there.

The Alpha male turned his head and smiled at Daren who had just arrived. He immediately approached him even though Daren seemed to be trying to avoid him because he did not want to make Axel jealous. Especially after what happened last time at the beach.

Ruby and Chen were proud of Daren and Zach for making the new program soar so high. They hoped that when the second part was released, the audience’s enthusiasm would increase even more.

’I made it! I’m going to be an actor that everyone knows!’ he thought happily and proudly.

"So how is your relationship after this? Have you started dating?" Ruby asked suddenly.

"Daren’s right, we’re not dating at all," Zach replied.

Zach’s answer made Daren feel relieved that the guy wasn’t talking about anything else. At least Axel wouldn’t be as angry at the beach. He glanced at the man who was staring back at him with that sharp gaze he always showed.

’Ohh... I’m still safe,’ Daren said to himself with relief.

"But..." Zach suddenly wrapped his arms around Daren’s waist and pulled him close. "No one will ever know. A person’s heart may change one day. Maybe today we’re friends, but maybe tomorrow or the day after... Everything is different."

Daren reflexively turned to Zach who had suddenly grabbed his waist like that, and said as if it wouldn’t be long before they were going on a date.

"It’s okay, Daren." He let go of his waist and took both of the blonde Omega’s hands.

"I know you need time for that, so I’m not going to rush you into becoming my Omega," he said as he smiled at Daren and leaned close to his ear to whisper. "I’ll wait for your answer."

Everyone in the room who witnessed it said it was very romantic. They couldn’t wait to see how Daren and Zach’s relationship would turn out.

Likewise, viewers of Under One Roof felt that the two men were very compatible.

Since the premiere, everyone has been talking about Zach and Daren. Their names have skyrocketed because of one television program that has everyone from Alpha, Omega and Beta excited to see more episodes.

"Daren looks very cute and innocent, and Zach is a calm and mature Alpha. He and Daren are very compatible," said one female Beta who really liked the two of them.

Axel sighed and nodded his head, thinking maybe he was overreacting. He should have known that was the risk of dating an actor.

"Alright alright, I’ll hold myself to that. But..." He grabbed Daren by the waist and sat him on the bathroom counter so their faces were level.

"Until they do more to my Omega, I’ll make sure they pay for what they do. Including you, I will not hesitate to bond with you regardless of the risks involved, do you understand?"

Daren smiled and tugged at the collar of Axel’s leather jacket. "Yes, I understand."

He then kissed his Alpha deeply and passionately on the lips, showing that he would remain faithful. Axel pulled Daren’s waist closer until the Omega’s legs were wrapped around his waist. The man would trust and keep an eye on things to keep things safe.
