Chapter 224: I Never Regret My Life

My life became much different when I met Daren. There were so many things I had never experienced when I was with him, and it made me feel like a different person.

When I was an agent, I thought I had experienced everything that people around me were used to. I had always assumed many different identities and met all sorts of people.

They all looked the same, disgusting and made me sick of being around them. But when I finally met you, everything changed for the better.

The pain, the smiles and also the nature that can sometimes be very annoying can turn someone like me into an Alpha that they say is better than before.

Sometimes I think, Omega is the weakest and most useless status I know. They are just machines to produce offspring, continuing the bloodline of an Alpha.

How could an Omega do something like this to me? And yes, Omega I did this. And I have never regretted a single second of meeting him.

Maybe at first I felt regret, but slowly I realized that what was in front of me right now was a destiny that I had to face, including when I had to kill him.

I went against all the rules that I had always instilled in myself and always lived by just for him. And here I am now lying on the bed with my Omega in my arms. And it’s my favorite moment to look at him sleeping peacefully.

Knowing that the world will feel so safe whenever he falls asleep in my arms. He nuzzled into my chest, making my heart melt to feel his every touch.

I kiss his forehead while rubbing his head. Allowing him to stay asleep and not wake up because I know he’s very tired when it comes to taking care of our son, Seth.

And just as I was thinking about it, Seth woke up and cried in the middle of the night when we hadn’t been resting for long. This had been a common occurrence since he was born and I guess it was no longer a big deal to me.

"Umnn... Baby Seth’s awake," Daren said as he reflexively woke himself up but I held him back.

"Let me put him back to sleep. You go back to sleep," I said as I helped him lie back down and rubbed his head before finally kissing his forehead and holding our crying son.

"Thank you," he said then pulled back the blanket and closed his eyes.

I took baby Seth to warm up the breast milk that Daren had stored in the freezer. Once the milk was warm, I gave it to Seth which slowly calmed him down.

Carrying him, I took him to the living room which was very quiet and also quite dark. Everyone is asleep at the moment which is why it feels so quiet to me because I don’t really like crowds.

It’s just that when I started living here with Viona and Edgar, they were like a family to me. It might sound really stupid when I say this, but them acting like my parents makes me feel like I have a complete family.

After all, they are also my future in-laws so I guess it can’t hurt when they try to give me advice.

"You don’t need to cry anymore, you must be thirsty in the middle of the night like this huh? Then drink a lot," I said while looking at Seth who didn’t go back to sleep and looked at me with his eyes that were very similar to Daren.

Those round and innocent eyes, they reminded me so much of him when he looked at me as if he had done nothing wrong, even though it was obvious that he had.

"You are very similar to your mother. even though physically you are very similar to me but your face is similar to him. even your nature I think will be very similar," I said while rubbing his head.

Facing just one Daren sometimes makes me shake my head and sigh, let alone two like you. Either I’m going to go crazy or I’m going to go crazy for both of you. What a shitty fate.

But it’s not bad either, being able to be together with you guys changed a lot of things in my life including changing myself. If someday I disappear and don’t come back because of some things or mistakes I did in the past, take good care of your mother.

"Whether you become Alpha or Omega, you must be able to save and protect yourself. If you can’t protect your mother, at least stay with him. Keep him company and keep him strong, not saddened by my departure," I told him.

I knew he wouldn’t understand what I was saying. But I hope one day he will become a strong man.

And I want to stay together with them.

My old job was too risky, creating situations I didn’t want and bringing big problems for me and the two of them later.

Until something happens to them, I won’t forgive myself. I would do anything to protect them.

"Hmn?" Seth’s hand suddenly touched my chin and squeezed it gently. He seemed to want to grab my mouth with his tiny fingers. "What’s wrong? Did you understand what I said?"

"Heh..." I could see him smiling at me. Even that smile was reflected in his eyes.

"You understand what this old man of yours is saying, huh? I knew you were a genius like me. I knew you’d inherit my intelligence," I said happily while lifting his body high.

He giggled while trying to grab my face with both hands. I pulled him back into my arms and she nuzzled into my chest. It was perfect.

"Don’t worry, I’ll always be there for you and your mom. I won’t let anyone hurt you." I kissed his cheek.

Suddenly, someone is pressed against my back. He leaned in until he pushed me from behind.

"Why are you here? Go sleep in the room, I’ll put Seth to bed again," I said as I rubbed his head on my shoulder.

"Mnnn... You left me alone in my room. I’ve been looking for you since before. It turns out you’re here without me," he said in a spoiled tone.

"Then we better go back to the room now."

I carried Seth with my right hand and I also had to lift Daren’s body with my left.

"Wow... You’re so strong," he said while nuzzling me.

I carried them to the bed by laying Seth between me and Daren. He immediately turned his body toward Daren.

"Oh hello baby." He immediately hugged Seth and they looked very happy.

They really were very cute. I lay down and hugged them both and I heard Seth start to yawn.

"Go back to sleep."

"Yes, good night. I love you both."

I smiled at that, I kissed them both and closed my eyes.

"Yes, I love you both too. Don’t feel scared. I will be here to protect you."
