Yan Jiayu received it; their fingers brushed as she took the glass, and upon seeing her gaze, Kage Herta politely apologized, promising to make amends again after the banquet and was then called away by someone else.

"Kage is a noble with a promising future," Lady Lily said, playing with the fan Xu Huo had given her, "If you’re with him, you won’t worry about props or potions."

Yan Jiayu took a sip of her drink, "Thank you for your kindness, but I am not planning to marry just yet."

Lady Lily paused, "Are you truly clueless, or are you pretending not to know?"

Yan Jiayu looked at her perplexed, "Weren’t you going to introduce me to potential matches? Does that mean I must marry if I date someone here?"

Feeling insulted, Lady Lily left her behind.
