Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!
Chapter 253: Between Two Gunshots

Chapter 253: Chapter 253: Between Two Gunshots

The iron door slammed shut, and Xu Huo was about to go over when the three players who were repelled by the flames returned, blocking his way, "If you manage to take Young Master Yang with you today, how are we supposed to get by in this circle afterwards?"

Xu Huo glanced at their lower bodies, "Judging by your bare-assed display today, you’re doomed to not get by anymore. Better clear the way and save your own lives."

The man in the trench coat wiped the charcoal dust off his face, revealing a set of white teeth, "You think you’re the only one with props?"

As he spoke, a bowling ball appeared in his hand and with a light pat on the ground, it bounced towards Xu Huo!

Xu Huo swung his Sword to block, but the bowling ball, incredibly elastic, dented in the middle when chopped and, like slime, clung to the Sword blade before trickling down.

He immediately retracted the Sword into his props bar, and the bowling ball, having lost its support, fell to the ground, recovered its spherical shape, and rebounded towards his face!

Xu Huo arched back to dodge the bowling ball’s assault and casually flipped open the Adult Fairy Tale Book; as the blood-red letters flowed out, the two players who were pressing on him, as if they had seen something terrifying, reflexively backed away. The man in the trench coat, while not retreating, was accurately ensnared by the guitar strings that had been hovering aloof, hanging him from the ceiling!

With the Crimson Sword back in hand, Xu Huo swiftly harvested the life of the man in the trench coat, kicked the fallen bowling ball towards the chubby player on the side; the chubby player tried to block instinctively, was knocked down by the bouncing ball, and was quickly enveloped by the softened bowling ball around his head.

Glancing at the two men struggling to breathe on the ground and panickedly flailing in the air due to the Adult Fairy Tale Book, Xu Huo kicked open the iron door and pursued in the direction where Yang Chao had fled through the passageway.

Meanwhile, Yang Chao and the bare-chested player hadn’t gone far. Just as they had left the underground market, Yang Chao started the car, intending to leave, telling the bare-chested player to stay behind and help the other three players.

"Remember, we need him alive, I want Xu Huo to become my dog..."

He hadn’t finished speaking before the bare-chested player, turning livid, grabbed Yang Chao’s head and smashed it onto the steering wheel. Dizzy and bleeding from the nose, Yang Chao was about to curse out but saw Xu Huo emerging from the underground market, and a Dart embedded deep in the ground not far from his car!

"Block him quickly!" Yang Chao screamed in terror, pushing the bare-chested player out of the car and making his escape.

But Xu Huo wasn’t about to let him get away that easily. He sent guitar strings flying and yanked Yang Chao out of the speeding car, which crashed into a boxing ring nearby, causing a cacophony of screams. Meanwhile, Yang Chao, held by the neck, was dragged right back!

"Young Master Yang!" The bare-chested player knew he could not get to the rescue faster than the props, so he turned to attack Xu Huo, muscles nurtured by ample Potions swelling, punches thrown hard as Stone!

Xu Huo took the punch head-on, stumbled back several steps into the underground market. Shaking off the tingling in his hand, he sized up the bare-chested player, "You don’t seem like a Cannibal Player."

The bare-chested player let out a cold laugh, "I’m a Black Player, but what of it? Just with my fists, I can beat you weaklings to death!"

"Really?" Xu Huo responded coldly, and the moment the man stepped into the underground market, a Flying Arrow circulating in the darkness pierced his head!

The bare-chested player’s knees buckled, and his burly body fell rigidly to the ground.

Xu Huo didn’t even look at the dead man who had attempted to defy him with brute force, stepping out to drag Yang Chao back inside.

After retracting the guitar strings, he waited for the man to cough enough before asking, "Will you talk now, or do I have to beat it out of you?"

Yang Chao knelt on the ground, coughing as he spoke, "Xu Huo, whatever you dare do to me, my dad won’t let you off, my uncle is from Jing City..."

Pummeling him with several slaps across the face, Xu Huo pinned him to the ground, "I know your uncle is an official. Rest assured, after I finish with you, I will visit him overnight."

"I’m asking you again, how did Xu Zhi die?"

"I... I don’t know... Ah! Stop stepping on me!" Yang Chao, clutching at the foot grinding into his chest, cried out in pain, "I really don’t know!"

Xu Huo pressed down harder with his foot.

"I really don’t know!" Yang Chao’s mouth was bloody as he howled, "I was talking nonsense!"

Xu Huo increased the pressure, his tone ice-cold and deliberate, "I don’t believe you!"

"I’m not lying to you..." Yang Chao gritted his teeth, "That day it was raining, and I couldn’t keep up with you... When I rounded the bend, my car skidded and got stuck by the roadside. After the gunshot, when I ran over, Xu Zhi was already dead, and you were right beside him..."

"What else?" Xu Huo eased his foot slightly.

"I heard you yelling at someone..." Yang Chao took the chance to breathe, "You said the loser was you, and you would honor the bet... There were a total of two gunshots... I really don’t know anything else..."

In the darkness, Xu Huo stepped back slowly and then abruptly covered his eyes, letting out a hoarse voice, "It’s not the same..."

No wonder Yang Chao thought he caused Xu Zhi’s death over a bet, but in his memory, it was not like that at all. Xu Zhi was indeed killed by a gunshot, but not because he was gambling. It happened when Xu Zhi came out to find him in the middle of the night and accidentally encountered a fleeing drug trafficker on a mountain path, dying from a stray bullet...

There was no bet, and there were more than two gunshots...

"Xu Zhi is dead, what’s the use in asking all this?" Yang Chao said, "No matter who killed him, isn’t it because you implicated him?"

"It’s said that the year he died, he was about to get his second PhD. No wonder your parents dislike you. If I were them, I’d rather it had been you who died..."

Xu Huo twisted his neck and killed him.

After setting a fire in the underground market and turning his back to the flames and the shouting crowd, he casually took a car and returned to the city as fast as possible.

Along the way he ignored several phone calls from Chief Wu, raided a few of the Yang Family’s warehouses, planted some items at Yang Chao’s uncle’s house, and incidentally called the police. By the time the police had taken the items and people out, the Yang Family had also been searched because numerous Evolution Potions had been found in the underground market that had yet to be officially promoted.

After doing all this, Xu Huo still didn’t stop. Having grown up here, he knew the dark side of this city well. He found two places hiding Evolvers, recorded videos of the places where the Evolvers were kept, and uploaded everything online, including what he filmed at Yang Chao’s uncle’s house, and then set another fire.

"I hope these sins will be thoroughly purged by the fire." He tossed away the phone he had picked up and randomly checked into a hotel to sleep soundly, completely ignoring the uproar he had caused outside.

The sirens in the city hadn’t stopped all night, and more importantly, after a few hours, the videos he uploaded had spread wildly. Less than half a day later, the whole internet was aware.
