Jock Next Bed (BL)
Chapter 60: Stalker?

Chapter 60: Stalker?

Unedited.

Chris wasn’t sure how long he’d slept, but something just pushed him awake because he felt strange and also a kind of beautiful discomfort.

When he opened his eyes, he was met with darkness. He was almost startled by the arm around him until his brain began to fully function.

He had slept off while seeing a movie with Sky.

Sky!

They were in bed together!

And that wasn’t just it. Sky was snuggled closely to him with his forehead just right underneath Chris’s neck, which meant that Chris could feel his breath on his chest. Sky’s hand was around Chris’s arm, and there was a blanket covering them.

Chris stopped breathing at once.

What was this?

How? Why? When?

He didn’t know exactly what he wanted answers to first. But he guessed he was more curious about the reason why Sky hadn’t woken him up to go to his bed. Or had he also slept off just like him and couldn’t wake him up?

He was confused about what to do. Should he wake up Sky and leave? Should he just stay there?

The answer was obvious. He wanted to stay.

The bed was small for the two of them, and he wasn’t sure how Sky would react when he woke up the next morning, so he didn’t want to take any chances, but he did not want to leave.

He had never been in this position before. With anyone.

He could feel Sky’s hair on his neck, his hot breath against him, even though he was wearing a shirt, and his smell all around him. The warmth was something he really appreciated. The nights had been really cold since he came here, but now not only was there a body beside him but also a blanket to shield them from the cold. Why wouldn’t he want to remain like this?

But this was wrong.

He shouldn’t be doing this for both of their sakes.

Just then, Sky shifted in his sleep and was about to roll to the other side when Chris quickly caught him and unconsciously pulled him close to keep him from falling.

This meant that he had indirectly welcomed the cuddling, and a sleepy Sky snuggled even closer to him and draped one of his legs over one of Chris’s.

Well, it seems like Chris’s plan was not going to work.

None of it was helping his hormones. He was not the type to jerk off. And even though he always bragged and acted like he was a sex god, he had never gone all the way with someone before except when he was an adolescent and had messed around with a girl. Yes, that was unbelievable, but it was true. He had made out with other people countless times, but that was as far as he had gone with them. He left the rest to his imagination and tried to live a healthy sexual life while pining for a boy he never had.

He left his hand around Sky and just held him close. He tried to think about other things to keep him distracted and not try to run his hand up and down his body, but it was difficult to do that when it was obvious to his brain and body how interested he was in this guy.

However, he didn’t do anything and just hugged him.

He tried to convince himself that he was not leaving because he didn’t want to interrupt Sky’s sleep and not for anything else.

So he remained like that until he drifted off again.

It felt like he hadn’t closed his eyes for a long time when he heard a knock on the door that drew him out of a certain kind of dream he’d rather refrain from mentioning.

When he opened his eyes, he realized he had slept for quite some time because light was filtering into the room from the window. It was already daytime.

Sky stirred, and he could tell he was about to wake up. A wave of panic hit Chris just as Sky opened his eyes, and both of them locked eyes, still entwined in each other’s arms. The knock on the door and a guy’s voice asking if anyone was inside broke their eye contact, and Sky sluggishly climbed down from the bed, stretching.

Chris also quickly climbed down from the bed and awkwardly went to his reading table to arrange nothing.

When Sky opened the door, Chris looked back and realized the intruder was their floor coordinator, who looked a little surprised to find Sky.

"I didn’t know you still lived here." He said sarcastically.

Sky let out a throaty chuckle. "I paid the dorm fees, so I should as well live here. What’s up?"

"There is a letter for your room. Not sure who it was meant for." He looked further inside, and when he saw Chris, he waved.

"Sorry for disturbing your sleep." He said it in an apologetic tone.

Chris simply shrugged and turned to pick up his phone from his bed to look at the time. It was a few minutes past 7.

He silently groaned. He would have slept some more since they had both seen a movie until midnight and he had also woken up again. Besides, it was Sunday, for crying out loud!

Why couldn’t he send the mail some other time?

"Are you perhaps expecting any mail?" Sky asked him.

Chris turned to him and found Sky looking at the medium-sized brown envelope that had no names or labels on it.

Chris was about to say no when he remembered his parents. He couldn’t trust them to not have sent anything.

"I think... I might be getting something. Can I see?" Chris asked as he approached him.

Sky handed it to him, and when he didn’t move and just kept staring at it, it was obvious to Chris that he wanted to know what was inside.

"Aren’t you going to open it? Just in case it isn’t yours but mine. It wasn’t addressed to anyone."

That was true. Damn it!

As Chris unsealed it, he continued to hope that his parents had not done anything funny. His brain played at different things that could be inside, but when he put his hand inside to feel them first, his brow furrowed when they felt like pictures.

Curiously, he took one out and was surprised to find that it was a candid picture of him walking on campus.

He looked at the picture and then at Sky, who looked just as confused as he was.

Then he turned to his bed and turned the envelope, pouring all the content onto his bed.

More pictures fell out with a folded note.

Sky followed him, picking up some pictures to look at with a confused frown on his face.

There were several pictures of Chris that had been taken secretly.

The pictures were seven in total. For three of them, he was alone in school. He was with Rachel in two, and in the last two, he was with Sky. One was on the night he helped a drunk Sky back to the dorm. He was helping Sky into the taxi when that one was taken, and the other one was of the both of them leaving the mall after shopping.

"What. The. Fuck!" Sky exclaimed quietly.

Sky cursed. It meant this was serious. It indeed was.

Chris opened the folded note and saw it was printed in red. Sky also looked at the note, which read, "I’M WATCHING YOU. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"

Chris scoffed and lazily ran his hand in his hair as he turned to Sky and calmly said, "So I guess there is a psycho who is secretly obsessing over you and now stalking me?"

"Be calm. I will find her."

"And where do you intend to start from? We don’t even know if it’s a girl or a boy." Chris pointed it out to him.

"It doesn’t matter who it is," Sky assured him before he went to pick up his phone and began to type.

"Are you, by chance, trying to call the police?"

"The police here won’t consider this. I’m texting the guys. We’ll be able to find the person faster."

Chris just stared at him, not sure what to say or do. It seemed like Sky was even more anxious than he was.

He didn’t take it seriously because this was not something he considered serious. Maybe if he paid attention to his surroundings from now on, he could easily catch the idiot. Even if he doesn’t find the person on his own, they will surely appear one day.

And what was the worst that they could do to him?

He looked at Sky, who was trying to call someone while he kept running his hand impatiently through his hair as he waited for the person to pick up.

He was cute.

Whoever the stalker was, they were beginning to make him want to NOT stay away from him now.
