Since several of them had gotten quite drunk, the matter Yusuf Zuck raised was not addressed until the afternoon of the following day.

"The first item, Elena, your intelligence department will be split, with Selena Gould taking charge of the new establishment," Yusuf Zuck said.

"And since they own banks, they are very, very wealthy. Some money is used to open more banks, and some is invested in other financial industries as well as the energy sector."

"Hold on, I have to interrupt," Alfredo Meskill suddenly raised his hand and said, "I only have elementary school education, so I don’t understand much but there’s something I’ve never understood all these years. How do banks make money? If I deposit a dollar and take it out a year later, they give me more than a dollar back. What’s the reason for that?"

"This is a common misconception," Selena Gould interrupted. "Many people in remote areas, or those who are not familiar with the industry, might wonder: after customers deposit money in the bank and earn interest, why would the bank want to give you interest? They’re also safeguarding your money. Wouldn’t they be making a loss by doing that?"

"In fact, banks are the biggest fundraisers. They take the money that customers deposit and invest it in other industries, such as energy, electricity, pharmaceuticals, or even stocks and food."

"They use the deposits of billions of customers and, through the investment operations of financial geniuses, quickly turn money into more money. So their profits are very large, and the little interest they give you is nothing in comparison."

"Oh, so they use our money to make money and then pay us interest, right?" Alfredo Meskill finally understood!

"It’s legal and reasonable. Continue with the Ross Family," Yusuf Zuck gave Alfredo Meskill a stern look. Why ask questions without understanding?

Alfredo Meskill just laughed heartily, thinking that one is never too old to learn. This was knowledge to him; maybe he could open a bank in the future!

"I don’t want to hear about how rich they are," Yusuf Zuck shook his head.

"Hmm, then let me continue with some of their secrets," Selena Gould pondered. "According to our covert investigations, we’ve discovered something incredible – the first Clan Leader of the Ross Family has not died. You know, that’s a person from the early 19th century, and now it’s the 21st century, which means their Clan Leader is at least over two hundred years old!"

"At first, we didn’t believe it, but after further investigation, we found that the Ross Family had countless ties to the legendary western vampire families, the Blood Race."

"Each member of their family is involved in charity work, they also make donations to private hospitals, and serve as board members there. Then we discovered, the hospitals’ blood banks destroy some expired blood every day, and this blood, whether expired or not, is secretly delivered to the homes of their board members, with someone specifically in charge of this task."

"Brother, do you need our help? We now have nearly two hundred people, and we’ve got equipment for sea, land, and air. If we infiltrate their clan’s city, we could deliver a devastating blow," Luciano spoke up, always terse, cold, and treating everyone as if they were the enemy.

"No need," Yusuf Zuck said with a smile as he looked at Luciano. He had never intended for what Luciano and some others had created, the Angel Mercenary, to play a significant role.

Luciano and Alfredo Meskill just wanted to have some fun, so he had given them the money to enjoy themselves. What he really wanted was for Luciano to be happy, to do what he wanted without worrying about money. He wished for him to be completely free.

Because he had once lost eight years of freedom!
