Invisible Security Guard
Chapter 612 - 611: Take Care

Chapter 612: Chapter 611: Take Care

Actually, Yusuf Zuck understood Jerome Hart and the others very well. They were young, alone in the world, with no entanglements, so wherever they went felt like home. Moreover, young people are naturally imbued with a spirit of adventure, and the allure of a magical, unknown world was tremendous.

Even Yusuf Zuck himself would have entered without hesitation if not for his many commitments. Unfortunately, it wasn’t an option for him; if he left, who would take care of his home? And he definitely wouldn’t take his whole family on an adventure.

The island was very safe, patrolled by boats, guarded by the most powerful Skeward Security team, and even the Dogan couple, Sophia, and two helicopters on standby at all times. Should any expert set foot on the island, the security team would whisk the VIPs away immediately.

"I’m leaving the safety of the house in your hands. Extend the boat patrols a bit longer," Yusuf Zuck said to Jerome Hart and the others as they boarded a helicopter, which took them directly to the airport.

Fleur Carson nodded and replied, "Don’t worry, we have many escape plans. Besides, this is the ocean, and we have intelligence operatives along the coastline."

Right, Luciano and Alfredo Meskill are also in the Amazon. I’ll give them a call to pay attention to their surroundings and take care of the periphery," Yusuf Zuck said as he dialed Luciano’s number.

Luciano’s was a satellite phone, which after a few rings, was picked up.

Yusuf Zuck went straight to the point: "There’s an island eight hundred nautical miles southeast of Rio de Janeiro. It’s mine. My old man, Sara, and my girlfriend are there. Look after them for me. I won’t be back for a few days."

"The old man and Sara? Haha, alright, alright, I know what to do. Don’t worry. We even play pirates occasionally. We’re familiar with that area of the sea; no problem."

"I have many enemies, all of them experts, so don’t take it lightly!" Yusuf Zuck reminded.

"Don’t worry. Even experts are afraid of rocket-launchers," Luciano scoffed.

"Good, hanging up now," Yusuf Zuck finally felt relieved.

The helicopter roared off the island and headed to Rio de Janeiro’s airport, where the company’s chartered plane was promptly commandeered, and the group hurried back to their country.

Two days later, at night, two taxis pulled up at the base of Dragon Head Mountain. As soon as the cars stopped, armed police conducting live-fire drills immediately approached and signaled for Yusuf Zuck and his party to leave, as a military exercise was underway.

Yusuf Zuck knew that ordinary people were no longer allowed near the area, so he made a call to Russ Trujillo.

Moments later, a cheetah car came down from the mountain, and a brigadier general got out and shouted, "Who’s Yusuf Zuck, Mr. Zuck?"

"That’s me," Yusuf Zuck immediately raised his hand.

"And them?" The brigadier general pointed at Jerome Hart and the others beside Yusuf Zuck.

"We’re together."

"Then on foot it is. I’ll lead the way!" Since there was no room in the car, the brigadier general unceremoniously had Yusuf Zuck and the others follow on foot.

"No need, we know the way. Off we go!" Yusuf Zuck said with a light smile. With a tip of his toes, he flew off.

"Haha, wait for us!" Jerome Hart and the others laughed heartily, then quickly swept forward!

The brigadier general and the soldiers watched, dumbstruck, as in a few leaps, the group had vanished from their sight.

"Damn it, another bunch of freaks," the brigadier general cursed.

Sometime later, Yusuf Zuck arrived at Biyunjian Valley, where Russ Trujillo and Felicity O’Brien were personally waiting outside!

"Holy crap, what happened to you two? Turn into mountain men or what?" Yusuf Zuck said upon seeing Russ Trujillo’s unshaven face with sleep in his eyes and Felicity O’Brien dressed in padded cotton shoes and a sheepskin coat!

"Mountain men? We’re worse than mountain men. You try sleeping in a tent for a couple of months here; it’s bloody winter now!" Russ Trujillo exclaimed loudly.

"Go find Devin King and beat him up. This is inhuman!" Yusuf Zuck laughed.

"Hey, guys, good to see you again!" Russ Trujillo greeted everyone.

"What’s the situation inside?" Jerome Hart asked as he caught up to Russ Trujillo.

"No one has come out yet. Devin is in a meeting; they’re probably going to send someone to check it out. Do you guys want to go in as well?" Russ Trujillo raised an eyebrow.

"Why else would we come here if not to go in?" Jerome Hart retorted.

"You better be prepared not to come back out. No one knows what it’s like inside," Russ Trujillo warned.

"No matter the situation, we always have to give it a shot, right?" Jerome Hart said nonchalantly.

As they chatted, they reached the deepest part of the valley, where no bones were left—last year, the Dragon Group had cleaned it all up. But now, there were many military tents set up, complete with generators and incandescent lights. Even the mountain top was manned with sentries; the area had been completely sealed off.

"Reporting in." Russ Trujillo approached a tent and shouted loudly.

"Let Yusuf Zuck in when he arrives," Devin King’s weary voice came from inside.

Yusuf Zuck lifted the tent flap and walked in, with Jerome Hart and the others following.

There were many people inside the tent, but Yusuf Zuck only recognized two: Devin King and Whitley Ortiz; the others were generals dressed in military uniforms, shouldering crescent-shaped guns.

"Ah, Yusuf’s here, what a rare visitor! Haven’t seen you in over a year, right? Please, have a seat." Over the past year, Yusuf Zuck and Devin King had been avoiding each other, and it seemed a rift had grown between them.

"Sit? I can’t. But these brothers of mine want to enter the Dragon Gate, and I’ve brought them here," Yusuf Zuck said, gesturing to Jerome Hart and the others.

"Oh? And what about you?" Devin King asked, his eyes lighting up.

"I’d rather not. I’m afraid of dying, but they aren’t," Yusuf Zuck waved dismissively.

"Do any of you have a Dragon Gate Order?" Devin King asked, turning to Jerome Hart and the others.

"We don’t, but don’t you have them?" Jerome Hart replied with a cheeky smile.

"How do you know I have one?" Devin King raised his eyebrows.

"Yusuf Zuck gave them to you, right?" Jerome Hart feigned ignorance.

"He definitely did not give us any Dragon Gate Orders!" Devin King shook his head.

"Boss, you must have forgotten," Jerome Hart laughed and then said, "Last October third, seventy to eighty people died here, and all these people had Dragon Gate Orders, some even had two. These people were left by Yusuf Zuck for the country’s sake; otherwise, he would have taken the Dragon Gate Orders with him. When you came over to deal with the bodies later on, you must have taken the orders too, right? So, technically, these were gifts from Yusuf, were they not?"

Jerome Hart’s words were straight from Yusuf Zuck, who had told him on the way. Yusuf Zuck, lost in the fervor of killing last year, hadn’t taken anything from those who died, not a single piece of booty, so he knew very well that there were plenty of Dragon Gate Orders!

"We can give you Dragon Gate Orders," Devin King said, shrugging as if it wasn’t a big deal, "but you’ll have to do us a favor first."

"You just say the word!" Jerome Hart readily agreed.

"Before you go in, you all have to wear monitoring cameras. That way, we’ll know you’re safe, and you can transmit what’s inside back to us. Moreover, if you really do manage to enter the Dragon Gate World, we hope you’ll come back as soon as possible, if you can, to let us know. Just these two small requests!"

"Heh, no problem at all," Jerome Hart chuckled and nodded in agreement.

"Great, go get ready. Russ, let the other people prepare too. Whoever wants to go, can go—we won’t stop you," Devin King said to Russ Trujillo, giving him a meaningful look.

Meanwhile, Yusuf Zuck moved next to Jerome Hart and gave him a firm hug, "Don’t die, otherwise I’m taking your share of the bonus to spend on the ladies!"

"You dare!" Jerome Hart hugged Yusuf back fiercely and then burst into laughter.

Yusuf Zuck also pulled Faye Webb into a hug, "Babe, don’t have much to give you, so take this little thing," he said, suddenly producing a grenade like a magic trick!

"For what?" Faye Webb jumped back, startled, along with everyone else in the room; clearly, the grenade was from the soldiers outside. When had Yusuf pilfered it?

"Keep it to kill or for a suicide mission!" Yusuf Zuck insisted on giving the grenade to Faye Webb, then punched Alfredo Meskill in the chest, who reciprocated with a punch of his own.

Luciano stuttered at the time, "Boss... boss... boss, I’m just going in to have a look, to be the... the pathfinder. I’ll return as fast as possible, then we can head to Dragon Gate to beat some folks up!"

"Taking care of yourself is the most important thing!"

Yusuf Zuck then fist-bumped Grey Petty, Uriel Arellano, Isaac Quintana, and Anais Dillon one by one, before giving Mary Berger a hug and likewise handing her a grenade.

"Luciano’s right, we’ll scout ahead for you. You follow up later and keep covering us!" Mary Berger declared boldly.

"Take care," Yusuf Zuck stepped back and gave everyone a salute with his hand.
