The phone rang a few times before she answered. Ember Vance also seemed to be eating something, murmuring with her mouth full.

"I’m eating fast food; I won’t come over. The unit is too busy, but thanks!" Ember Vance said with a laugh.

"Alright, we’ll have dinner another day. Take care of yourself."

"Thanks, I got it," Ember Vance laughed and then hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, Ruth Wilcox and Paisley Kirk chatted and laughed as they took the elevator down. The pillar, who had been waiting in the lobby, immediately stood up and started walking outside.

But just as the pillar was about to step through the revolving door, he saw someone—a lame person—walking towards him with great respect, leading others.

The pillar recognized this lame person; his name was Herman Holloway. He knew him because Samuel Ross had collected a lot of information on people who had had issues with Yusuf Zuck. Herman Holloway was one of them. They had analyzed him before concluding that although Yusuf Zuck had broken Herman Holloway’s leg, Holloway could only grit his teeth and swallow it; he was not in a position to seek revenge against Yusuf Zuck.

Herman Holloway had made connections with ’those people’ and was now using them to take revenge on himself and on Ruth Wilcox.

He could imagine that among those people there must be lustful devils; with just a mention from Herman Holloway, and a sight of Ruth Wilcox, they would surely harbor ill thoughts.

"What’s going on?" Seeing Yusuf grab the sword and stand up, everyone in the room was startled.

"Ariel Higgins, come here!" Yusuf beckoned to Ariel Higgins who was in the kitchen.

"What happened?" Ariel Higgins saw Yusuf’s uneasy face and also grew tense.

"There’s a basement in the villa, right? Take everyone down there."

"What’s going on?" Samuel Ross and the others immediately gathered around, and Ariel Higgins raised her eyebrows questioning.

"There are two masters setting their sights on Ruth and Paisley, following them here. They are masters, so it’s best you all hide away."
