Chapter 534: Chapter 533: Scientific Experiment
After passing through a long corridor bathed in white light and undergoing another disinfection, Yusuf Zuck finally entered a glass house filled with many instruments, as well as the research personnel waiting there.
Devin King and Whitley Ortiz automatically retreated to a corner of the room, sitting down on a row of chairs.
"Alright, Yusuf Zuck, good day. Now, please hand over a drop of your solution to us. Just drop it into this vessel here," said a researcher wearing a mask as he gestured for Yusuf Zuck to dispense his solution into a vessel on the laboratory table.
At the same time, many had prepped in advance, because the moment Yusuf Zuck’s solution appeared, they would begin decomposition and analysis as quickly as possible.
"Okay." Yusuf Zuck nodded, walked to the line of laboratory tables, and dripped the purple liquid into one of the vessels.
Devin King and Whitley Ortiz exchanged a glance; they had already guessed that Yusuf Zuck’s solution was extracted from his body, but seeing it with their own eyes was still shockingly unbelievable.
If his body contained such a solution, then he was indeed more precious than a giant panda.
"Whitley, after we get back, inform Action Team Four to reinvestigate everything about him since birth, even how many times he visits the toilet at night!" Devin King whispered.
"Yes," Whitley Ortiz also inhaled sharply, taken aback. To think Yusuf Zuck himself could produce a medically beneficial solution—was it too incredible to imagine that he wasn’t human but rather a genetic mutation?
After Yusuf Zuck had dripped a drop of the purple liquid, he stepped aside, while all the research personnel busied themselves. Curiously, Yusuf Zuck watched their bustle and their exchanges of scientific findings.
At the three-minute mark, suddenly, a researcher shouted, "It’s disappearing, no... it vanished, too fast, the time was exactly one hundred eighty seconds, this is amazing!"
"Research data, first team." The person who had spoken to Yusuf Zuck seemed to be a leader, urgently seeking the research data.
"No conclusion, the time was too short," replied someone from the first team, shaking their head.
"Second team has no conclusion either..."
"In our experiment, we discovered the presence of life vitality factors, incredibly secretive in quantity, a novel and unknown cellular composition. Their activity was high, but unfortunately, they vanished at their peak concentration, mysteriously undergoing a chemical reaction and then turning into inorganic air!"
"The fourth team’s finding is the exact time of one hundred eighty seconds!"
"Sigh—another failure!" The leader sighed deeply before turning to Yusuf Zuck, "Mr. Zuck, could you give us another drop?"
"Do you think this solution is urine that I can just pee out at will?" Yusuf Zuck replied irritably. "Every time I drop one, I need to rest for several days, hurting so much at night that I can’t sleep, and needing to consume a lot of tonics!"
"We only need one drop, then we won’t bother Mr. Zuck anymore!" the leader pleaded.
"No more. There really is no more, no more ever again, honestly. This was produced by cultivating my Inner Strength, but now it’s just a little puddle; after curing many patients, today is the last drop!"
"King, your thoughts..." The leader turned to Devin King, indicating he should try to persuade Yusuf Zuck.
Devin King, meanwhile, silently shook his head.
"Alright then." Seeing Devin King was not going to intercede, the leader paused in thought before saying, "Could you lie down in the scanner then? We need to conduct a thorough scientific examination of your entire body!"
"That won’t be necessary. I am very robust, and besides, I can heal myself; there’s no need to trouble you all!" Yusuf Zuck could not allow them to scan him carelessly—what if they spotted the Blood Beads in his mind?
"What’s wrong with you? If we could find the mutated gene sequence in your body, it would be a great boon for humanity, for our country," a researcher couldn’t help but interject.
"I am just a no-good scoundrel. I have no interest in such a grand mission as benefiting humanity. As for benefiting the country, that’s your business. I earn my money; I enjoy my women. So spare me the grand principles and such," Yusuf Zuck retorted.
"You..." Upon hearing Yusuf Zuck’s response, all the research personnel fell silent, at a loss for words.
Devin King just shook his head with a bitter smile, while Whitley Ortiz couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
"Alright, alright, let’s move on to the next test and see what kind of strength Yusuf Zuck has," said Devin King as he stood up.
The researchers hadn’t given Yusuf Zuck any warm looks, but upon hearing Devin King’s words, they moved on their own toward another glass room.
"Let’s go; inside you can test your strength," Devin King said, approaching with Whitley Ortiz.
"This I’m actually interested in," Yusuf Zuck said with a chuckle and a nod.
Everyone walked into another glass room, which also contained several large machines. After the researchers made some adjustments, they indicated they were ready to begin.
"Mr. Zuck, this machine tests your Fist Strength. You can punch this alloy panel with your strongest force, and our instruments will analyze the data immediately," they prompted.
"Okay, I’ll give it a try." Yusuf Zuck narrowed his eyes and stepped in front of the iron panel assembled by the machine. After thinking for a moment, he suddenly launched a fierce punch at the panel.
This punch was quite vigorous, as if he was using all the strength he had.
Of course, he didn’t use his full strength, only forty percent of it.
Indeed, he wasn’t foolish enough to let others know how strong he truly was!
"Boom—" The iron panel was shattered into pieces, and even the bolts and nails securing the machine below were pulled out, resulting in crunching noises from the device.
However, the machine didn’t seem to be made of ordinary materials because it surprisingly didn’t break. On the other side, a screen immediately lit up with a flurry of related data analysis.
"My God, such tremendous Ox Power..." several researchers exclaimed in amazement as they read the data.
"Talking about Ox Power won’t make sense to him; explain it to him in metaphorical terms," Devin King said with a laugh from the sidelines.
One of the researchers promptly explained, "The power of his punch just now is comparable to the impact force of a car moving at over 200 kilometers per hour, um, exceeding the level of a cultivator in the Truth-Seeking Realm and on par with the Initial Stage of Grain Rejection."
"Even so, he might not understand that," Devin King said with a smile. "Be more specific!"
"With that kind of force, he could break through three of our alloy gates in succession!" the researcher replied irritably.
"Oh!" Yusuf Zuck finally showed surprise. When he had entered earlier, he had seen about eleven alloy gates, each wide and thick.
"Hehe, Yusuf, you’re holding back, aren’t you?" Devin King teased with a smile.
"Hold back? What’s there to hold back? Can the power of one punch really be on par with the Grain Rejection Realm already? That’s great, haha!" Yusuf Zuck laughed heartily, playing it cool.
"Do you want to try the next test for resistance to hits?" Devin King asked again.
"No need for that; I’m tender-skinned and bruise easily. I fear pain, so I’ve got no resistance to hits. Didn’t you almost kill me with a slap last time? When I’m cooking at home, even peeling potatoes can hurt my hand, so I definitely don’t have any resistance to hits. Let’s leave it at that," Yusuf Zuck shook his head. When it came to testing resistance to hits, he would rather experiment on his own than let these people do it for him.
Because once they got the data analysis on him, they would be prepared for how to deal with him in the future. So, he wanted to keep some things to himself and not reveal everything so casually!
