Chapter 356: Chapter 356: Lucy Clayton’s Last Call
"Yusuf Zuck, don’t get cocky!" Seeing Yusuf Zuck looking at him, Tyler Nash said while stepping back, and the hatred in his eyes seemed as if it wanted to devour Yusuf Zuck.
"You won’t have a good end, you won’t."
"Whatever retribution I have to face in the future, I’ll accept it, but today I won’t let you go." Yusuf Zuck moved forward step by step. Tyler Nash was his half-brother, of course, but all the Nashes were wolves; he had immense resentment towards Kevin Nash, and even more so towards this worthless brother.
"You won’t let me go? Hahaha." Tyler Nash continued to retreat, laughing loudly: "I know you’re tough, you even killed Truth-Insight, but you think you can kill me? You must be dreaming!"
"Yusuf Zuck, remember, I will be your enemy for all eternity; even as a ghost, I won’t let you go."
"Huff~" After he stepped back seven or eight steps more, the moment his words fell, he suddenly turned and then ran towards the cliff.
"Whoosh~" With that sound, not even ten meters away, he leapt down; he didn’t look back, nor did he show any fear.
"Yusuf Zuck, even as a ghost, I won’t let you go. You will face retribution!" From the mountain ravine, Tyler Nash’s voice could be heard as he fell downwards.
Yusuf Zuck stopped in his tracks, his back to everyone, looking in the direction of the cliff.
Truthfully, he had not expected Tyler Nash to throw himself off the cliff; it surprised him that Tyler had the courage and bloodiness to do so.
But after thinking it over, he understood—weren’t all of the Nashes somewhat bloodthirsty?
He stood still on the spot for over a minute, then continued forward to the edge of the cliff and glanced down.
The abyss below was bottomless, with wisps of cold wind and chill in the air. The cliff was nearly a kilometer high above the ground, so Tyler Nash’s jump surely meant death.
"In your next life, wish for a good family and be a good person!" Yusuf Zuck let out a soft breath, then turned away and walked towards the exit path.
He didn’t want to stay here any longer; it was pointless. What so-called mysterious people? They were just a bunch of petty characters. He had seen enough of their despicable nature in the past couple of days. In the future, he wouldn’t associate with these people; they didn’t deserve his admiration, his fellowship.
"Let’s go, let’s go..." Yusuf Zuck, with Rachel Fournier and Sophia, quickly followed behind him.
Apart from Everest Zuck, Sophia and Rachel Fournier were also scared witless by Yusuf Zuck. This Yusuf Zuck had killed two major Truth-Insights; in today’s world, there were only three Truth-Insights, yet within ten minutes, he had dispatched two of them. The only reason he hadn’t killed the third was that the Truth-Insight’s daughter was his friend, so he couldn’t bring himself to do it!
What does it mean to be awesome? This is the true definition of awesome. Real power doesn’t show its face, these so-called noble Truth-Insights, sitting high on their thrones, looking down upon all living beings, yet among these beings are true masters who could easily crush them.
Yusuf Zuck would likely become famous overnight. After today’s gathering disperses, his legend will circulate among the circles of the extraordinary.
Of course, Yusuf Zuck made many enemies here today, and there would probably be no end of people seeking revenge on him in the future.
Once inside the tunnel, Yusuf Zuck, leading the way, said in a deep voice, "Brother, could you have the National Security agency encrypt my household registration files? Or separate my sister and father’s records from mine, making them hard for others to investigate?"
"That’s not a problem, we’ll take care of it when we get back. Changing your sister’s name and your father’s name is fine too." Everest Zuck assured confidently.
"Then thanks in advance!" Yusuf Zuck said with a smile.
"No, no, Master Yusuf, I’m scared, please don’t thank me!" Everest Zuck joked.
"What nonsense, all my secrets are exposed!" Yusuf Zuck complained bitterly.
"But maybe that’s a good thing? Now that your secrets are out, who would dare to trouble you? Are they not afraid that from a thousand miles away, you could take their heads? So, if they want revenge, they have to weigh their odds carefully."
"Brother Yusuf, how... how did you do it?" Sophia asked curiously.
"Sophia, don’t ask around. Your Brother Yusuf is no ordinary man; he has connections with that other circle!" Rachel Fournier cautioned.
"That other circle?" Sophia was stunned for a moment, but then she took in a sharp breath. Her master and Rachel Fournier’s master were old friends; they often met and would stay together for months on end, talking about everything under the sun. Therefore, she had heard some secrets about that other circle.
Now, since Harley Strong mentioned that Yusuf Zuck had ties with another circle, it was no wonder Yusuf was so formidable.
The four of them left the tunnel and crossed Lock Chain Bridge before Yusuf Zuck and Everest Zuck sprinted towards the camping site while Harley Strong and Sophia followed behind.
At the campsite, they found that the tents and everything were still there, albeit with signs of damage—clearly, some animal had visited the place.
Everest Zuck quickly tidied up, and in the end, they even abandoned the tents. Then, the four of them headed back the same way they came.
Just as they were leaving the mountains, Yusuf Zuck’s phone suddenly rang.
The caller ID showed Lucy Clayton’s number.
Yusuf Zuck thought for a moment and then answered the call.
"Mr. Zuck, hello," Lucy Clayton suddenly laughed on the phone.
"What’s it, speak," Yusuf Zuck was always indifferent towards Lucy Clayton.
"There are two things," Lucy Clayton paused then said, "First, the investigation results at home are out. Those Japanese that we killed with the help of Bud Trujillo’s abilities obtained approvals from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education to plant a variety of rice in a village in Jiangxi. It’s genetically modified, and after the rice is harvested, local schoolchildren will taste-test it. We suspect that those Japanese bastards are using our Chinese students as lab rats for scientific experiments!"
"Damn their ancestors!" Yusuf Zuck burst out cursing.
"I’ve already started releasing related information online, blowing the lid off in advance. I’ve also arranged for a whistleblower to make a formal report, so you can rest assured about that. However, if you have time tomorrow during June and July, and you can get there, you should pay a visit just in case. If not, then just have that field plowed under!"
"Thanks, I know, you did a good job!" It was the first time Yusuf Zuck thanked Lucy Clayton.
"No worries, I am still a Chinese citizen!" Lucy Clayton laughed and said.
"The second thing?" Yusuf continued to ask.
"I’m in Japan. I caught Bud Trujillo last night and slit his throat, yeah, just like that!"
"You went to Japan and killed him?" Yusuf Zuck raised his eyebrows.
"I told you, I did it for you, but... but..." Lucy Clayton hesitated.
"But what?" Yusuf Zuck asked, puzzled.
"I might not be able to return to China," Lucy Clayton suddenly laughed again, saying, "I just received news; we’re surrounded by a gang. My people are outside fighting them desperately. They’re about to breach our defenses soon."
"If possible, look after my kids later on, thank you."
"Oh, and one more thing. I killed six Japanese yesterday, heh, it was the first time I felt so exhilarated and thrilled killing people... Yusuf, before I hang up, I want to tell you something..." Lucy Clayton paused and added, "A person should take on as much as they can handle. I hope you can do more good deeds in the future. I’ve committed too many evils and, truth be told, I now have regrets."
"Bang... bang bang bang~" As Lucy Clayton spoke, Yusuf Zuck heard gunshots and the sounds of a melee.
"Alright, enough talking, they’re coming in... *beep beep beep*..." Before Yusuf Zuck could respond, Lucy Clayton’s phone call was disconnected.
Yusuf Zuck quickly dialed back in a panic.
However, there was only the endless busy tone on the phone...
"Lucy Clayton... Lucy Clayton... Lucy Clayton..." Yusuf Zuck’s hand trembled, he hadn’t killed her before because Lucy Clayton had the hot blood of loyalty and righteousness, and stood by the codes of the underworld.
And now, he... he had actually died in Japan!
