Chapter 195: Chapter 195: Arrival in Sin City

Early the next day, Fleur Carson first took Yusuf Zuck for a photo shoot and then disappeared with his ten million US Dollars, saying she would be back in the evening.

Yusuf Zuck had nothing to do all day long; he ate and stayed at the hotel. This time, before leaving, Fleur Carson had arranged with the hotel to deliver meals to his room three times a day. Yusuf Zuck only needed to tip and didn’t have to say anything else.

At eight o’clock in the evening, Fleur Carson rushed back in a hurry, "I’ve got one minute, gotta run." After entering the suite, she tossed a leather bag to Yusuf Zuck, "This is your new identity, still called Yusuf Zuck, except now you’re a Chinese-Canadian, a few years older—twenty-six. Also, I got you a Citibank debit card; the card is real, you can withdraw or deposit money with the passport as your ID."

"Right, the passport is fake, but it’s essentially real. As long as you don’t break the law, there won’t be any problems with this passport. I’m out." She didn’t offer Yusuf Zuck a detailed explanation and, after speaking, dashed out of the room as if her butt was on fire.

Yusuf Zuck opened the leather bag, and to his surprise, there were fifty thousand US Dollars in addition to the passport and bank card.

Yusuf Zuck cursed under his breath; he had given Fleur Carson ten million US Dollars and ended up with only a fake identity and fifty thousand US Dollars.

However, the fake identity did make it more convenient for him to travel around.

...

The next day, Yusuf Zuck called Marlon Shepherd early in the morning, and then they agreed to meet in the lobby of the hotel where he was staying.

From now on, Yusuf Zuck couldn’t manage to go to the airport alone because he couldn’t speak the language. He couldn’t communicate clearly with taxi drivers, so he had to rely on Marlon Shepherd and his girlfriend.

Luckily, Marlon Shepherd and Leila Brown didn’t seem to mind the hassle. In less than half an hour, they appeared in the hotel lobby.

"Thank you so much, my friend stood me up." Upon meeting, Yusuf Zuck thanked them first. If it weren’t for Marlon Shepherd and his girlfriend, his trip to Las Vegas would have likely fallen through.

"No problem. You haven’t booked your flight yet, have you? Let’s book it here," Marlon Shepherd suggested, pointing to the hotel’s service counter, and then walked over.

Marlon Shepherd also spoke English. He could speak both French and English.

A moment later, Marlon Shepherd gestured for Yusuf Zuck and Leila Brown to present their passports. When Yusuf Zuck handed over his passport to Marlon Shepherd, Marlon obviously hesitated because Yusuf Zuck’s passport was different from theirs.

"This is my Canadian passport," Yusuf Zuck explained with a smile.

"Mr. Zuck isn’t from the mainland? How come you have a Canadian passport?" Leila Brown asked, surprised.

"Just got it done by my friend. I still have my own passport right here." Yusuf Zuck opened the leather bag, showing his own passport inside.

Leila Brown was a bit perplexed, while Marlon Shepherd just smiled but didn’t ask any more questions.

Soon after registering, Marlon Shepherd signaled that it was time to head to the airport and get the boarding passes.

When the trio arrived at the airport by taxi, Yusuf Zuck was actually quite anxious on the inside, for he truly didn’t know whether the passport Fleur Carson had arranged for him was real or fake and if it would pass the security check at the Canadian airport.

However, after they got their boarding passes and boarded the plane without being detected, Yusuf Zuck finally let out a long sigh of relief.

"Mr. Zuck, are you going to Las Vegas just for gambling? Also, how come you don’t have any luggage?" Perhaps because Yusuf Zuck had promised a deposit of a hundred million, Leila Brown kept calling him "Mr. Zuck," of course, it was also a kind of joke.

"Uh, just going to have a look, and then I’m visiting other cities too. I usually don’t carry luggage when I travel, just a bag and I’m off." Yusuf Zuck was still planning to visit another city, because he wanted to see Ruth Wilcox, and it was impossible for him to be in the United States and not go see her.

"Where are you headed?" Leila Brown asked further.

"Los Angeles!"

"Oh, if we don’t go to Los Angeles, what will you do then?" Collins Brown continued.

"I have friends in Los Angeles," Yusuf Zuck shrugged.

"Yusuf, earlier Collins said you were going to deposit a hundred million, but you don’t have to take it seriously. When we’re out and about, we should help each other," Marlon Shepherd said, sitting next to Yusuf, suddenly bringing up the deposit of a hundred million.

"Right, right, right, I was just joking," Leila Brown also stuck out her tongue.

"It should be about right, even if there’s not a hundred million, I’ve still got several tens of millions on me. When the time comes, I’ll just transfer it, after all, it’s all just depositing," Yusuf Zuck answered with a smile.

"Cool, I’ll cover all the expenses for this trip to Las Vegas!" Leila Brown gave a thumbs up.

Yusuf Zuck looked at Leila Brown with a mischievous smile, "Aren’t you afraid I’m a con artist, scamming food and drinks and such?"

"If it’s a scam, let it be. Anyway, it’s not me who’s paying right, little Marlon?" Leila Brown poked Marlon Shepherd with her elbow.

"Cough cough." Marlon Shepherd started coughing, his face filled with embarrassment.

"Don’t worry, I don’t like owing people favors," Yusuf Zuck promised again.

Soon, after over three hours, they arrived in Las Vegas.

Some people have said that the gambling city of Las Vegas is like two sides of a coin; one side is Hell, and the other Heaven. The dance pavilions and singing stages built for indulging in pleasures exude a glamorous and enchanting aura, with both extremes inseparable like shadows.

If you want to experience the vibrant nightlife, luxury fashion, and bevy of beauties of the United States, go to Las Vegas;

If you’re down and out, with just a few coins left, perhaps you can gamble for a comeback in Las Vegas;

If you have so much money you don’t know how to spend it, just go to Las Vegas, and you might get to experience the carefree life of a homeless person on the streets.

This is the place known as both a paradise on Earth and a living Hell, and also why many people come back again and again.

Leila Brown’s cousin is of course also Chinese, and a very sexy and stylish Chinese woman at that.

Her name is Lena Brown. She did not immigrate to the United States but studied at a university there. After graduation, she stayed to make her career, and now she’s the Deputy Manager of a department at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

With long hair cascading over her shoulders and dressed in a checkered Chinese-style blouse and tight shorts, she stood nearly 1.7 meters tall, with legs **** long and white.

She drove over in a red Porsche 911. Yusuf Zuck had heard that in the United States, sports cars like this could be bought for just a few tens of thousands of dollars, unlike in his home country where they are much more expensive, so it wasn’t unusual that someone in middle management at a major international company could afford a Porsche.

After meeting each other, Lena Brown drove them towards the city center, while also introducing the unique features of Las Vegas, fun activities and places to visit, as well as the various taboos of Las Vegas.

"Gambling is fine, but only gamble in moderation to lift the spirits, definitely don’t go overboard. Also, if you lose, don’t make a scene. All the casinos here are connected to gangs. And then, there are many areas with curfews at night, where you’re not allowed to be out and about and the police might question you. You can’t drink with anyone under twenty-one years old."

"Hmm, you can patronize prostitutes here, because it’s legal, so don’t worry about police raids. But not for you, Marlon!"

"Cough, I wouldn’t," Marlon Shepherd said from the backseat, squeezing Lliana Cooke’s hand.

"I wouldn’t either," Yusuf Zuck finally understood; Lena Brown meant this for him, implying he could engage in solicitation!
