Chapter 1493: Chapter 1493: Cardiac Resuscitation

"Go, quickly to the sanctuary!" Yusuf Zuck seemed to have realized something, and at this moment, he was brimming with excitement, urging the dazed Ivy Frost toward the sanctuary.

Ivy Frost was truly bewildered. When her master emerged, it was like the sky shaking and earth moving; and as soon as he went back, the phenomenon subsided.

What could be causing this? Isn’t this way too bizarre?

So, she was utterly confused, not knowing what had happened or why it was happening.

Following Yusuf Zuck’s command, she soared into the air, dashing at full speed toward the sanctuary.

As she neared the sanctuary, she suddenly saw scores of people packed closely together—at least five or six hundred—standing anxiously in the sanctuary plaza, as if waiting for something.

Ivy Frost saw her aunt and descended beside her.

"Why are you here? Didn’t I tell you not to come? This place might be dangerous!" her aunt whispered.

"This is the Sacred Mountain. What danger could there possibly be?" Ivy Frost asked in confusion.

"The epicenter has been found. It’s the Giant Spirit God’s Heart beneath the ground," her aunt whispered. "Word just came in that earthquakes have hit across the entire Soul World, and the earlier tremors are definitely connected to that heart!"

"How could that be? That heart should have already fossilized and merged with the earth!" Ivy Frost questioned.

"Who knows? The Ancestor, the Saint Master, and the Saintess have already entered the sanctuary passage. We should hear back from them soon."

"Hmm, the tremors have stopped now. It must be my venerable master who suppressed the heart. Hehe."

"Yeah, it’s stopped now. So strange!" Ivy Frost’s aunt also remarked quizzically.

In fact, everyone found it peculiar, as this was simply too unnatural. It was unprecedented—nothing like this had ever occurred before.

At this moment, Yusuf Zuck took the opportunity to observe the Holy Mountain disciples gathered in the plaza.

There were over five hundred people here, likely representing all the disciples of the Sacred Mountain. After such a major event, all disciples were naturally summoned to investigate. Even if some were absent, they were probably outside. Hence, the Sacred Mountain disciples could not possibly number over a thousand!

Among these five hundred-plus disciples, there were many in the Saint Realm. The thirty-odd individuals standing in the front row all exuded an aura similar to that of the Saintess, albeit slightly weaker.

These stood in the first row, while behind them in the second row were eighty-some individuals, all of them at the Sky Monarch Stage, including Ivy Frost’s aunt.

In the third row were the Heavenly King Realm disciples, the most numerous at around two hundred.

Further back were those in the Heavenly Master and Emperor Realms, numbering about a hundred in total!

"Squeak~" Suddenly, amidst the murmuring crowd, the doors of the sanctuary opened. Steward Bobby Hahn was the first to step out, his body slightly hunched. Upon exiting, he immediately stood outside the door.

The Saintess Maria was the second to emerge, taking her place by the left side of the door.

"Ahhh~" Just as the Saintess took her position, two more figures walked out. One was the Saint Master, clad in a holy robe radiating Holy Light.

The Saint Master was unmistakably a man, a Westerner with high cheekbones and a prominent nose.

Walking beside him, however, was someone entirely shrouded in a black robe, their face obscured by black cloth, making it impossible to discern their gender.

Yusuf Zuck couldn’t help but curse quietly—the Soul Ancestor was trying to be ridiculously mysterious.

"Everyone, do not panic!" As soon as the two appeared, the Saint Master began to speak. He had a naturally genial demeanor, wearing what seemed like a perpetual smile. Spreading his arms, he cast a golden light that enveloped the disciples.

"Ahhh~" Instantly, everyone dropped to their knees!

The Saint Master was, in truth, something of a fraudster.

"Indeed, the earlier earthquakes were caused by the Giant Spirit God’s Heart, but it was simply a normal pulse of the bloodline. Therefore, do not be alarmed or overreact. These pulses may occur again, and what you should focus on now..." The Saint Master took a deep breath and continued, "is to traverse the Soul World and reassure the believers and apostles, letting them know that there is no cause for concern, that the Saint Master is with them. Amen!"

"Amen!" The crowd echoed in unison, crossing their chests in the sign of a cross.

Yusuf Zuck was speechless...

"Alright, off you go," the Saint Master said with a light smile.

"Yes." The five hundred-plus disciples immediately took to the air, flying away from the Sacred Mountain, leaving only Ivy Frost in the plaza.

That’s right—only she remained. Her aunt had left without even speaking to her, so she was at a loss as to what to do.

"So, this is Princess Ivy Frost? Not bad at all," the Saint Master nodded and said. "But still just a child—look how flustered she is."

"Hahaha!" The Saint Master laughed heartily, and the black-robed Soul Ancestor let out a hoarse, eerie chuckle as well.

"Alright, Ivy Frost. Take this—it’ll speed up your cultivation!" The Soul Ancestor casually tossed a bottle to her. Inside were no fewer than ten drops of Giant Spirit Blood!

"What? That much?" Ivy Frost caught it eagerly, beaming with delight!

"Haha, as your teacher, I want you to progress as quickly as possible. If you need more, come find me!" the Soul Ancestor said.

"Thank you, Teacher! But... I also want to enter the sanctuary to extract the bloodline myself. My aunt told me that refining the Giant Spirit Blood is a form of cultivation too—it can strengthen one’s soul and enhance their power!" Ivy Frost spoke innocently, seemingly unafraid to say or ask for anything.

"It’s great that you want to refine it yourself, but not now. The Sky Shaking and Earth Moving earlier signified that the Giant Spirit Heart is awakening. It would be too dangerous for you inside, so you’d better not go!"

"What? The heart is awakening?" Ivy Frost exclaimed in shock.

"I told you this because of your pure heart and sincerity. I don’t want to deceive you. I hope you will always stay this way—pure and true. Whatever you may do in the future, don’t ever lie to me. Also, what I’ve shared with you, keep it to yourself—don’t tell anyone!"

"Yes, I understand. But... when can I enter the sanctuary?" Ivy Frost persisted.

"In three months. If you can reach the Heavenly Master Territory, and the Giant Spirit Heart hasn’t stirred again by then, you may enter to refine the bloodline. Ambition in a young girl is a good thing!" The Soul Ancestor seemed pleased with her determination and agreed readily!

"Alright, I’ll listen to Teacher," Ivy Frost said, nodding quickly.

"Go on now," the Soul Ancestor waved her off.

"Yes." Ivy Frost bowed deeply to both the Ancestor and the Saint Master, then hopped away joyfully.

"Such a delightful age, such a sweet girl!" The Soul Ancestor sighed.

"Haha, indeed she is," the Saint Master said, his eyes flashing with a lecherous gleam as he stared intently at the sway of Ivy Frost’s hips.

"You’d best not have any dirty thoughts about her, alright?" the Soul Ancestor suddenly remarked.

"Why not? I think I should find the right moment to preach to young Ivy Frost alone," the Saint Master chuckled slyly.

"I’m saving her for Pir," the Soul Ancestor replied.

"Oh? And you’re not jealous?" the Saint Master asked in surprise.

The Soul Ancestor shrugged. "I can’t possibly treat my beloved Pir unfairly. Besides, when I conceive, Pir will have certain... needs. I intend to make it up to him."
