Chapter 1480: Alien Race
Chapter 1480: Chapter 1480: Alien Race
Yusuf Zuck had no idea whether the pursuing soldiers behind him could catch up, nor did he know where he currently was. All he knew was that he kept shuttling through space, his hands tearing open one Time-Space Black Hole after another, continuously leaping forward.
After running nonstop for a full three years, when he entered yet another Mainland and tried to tear open this dimension, he was suddenly shocked to discover that this place couldn’t be torn open.
He could come in, but he couldn’t get out.
His heart felt a twinge of surprise, but he quickly composed himself and focused on sensing his surroundings.
This Mainland lacked Spiritual Energy, Divine Aura, or Immortal Aura—none of it was present. Instead, the air had a heavy metallic scent—a faint but undeniable stink of blood.
Yusuf’s Divine Sense slowly spread outward, but it hardly stretched beyond 30 meters before being abruptly blocked. This place actually suppressed Divine Sense completely.
"What is this place? What kind of dimension is this?" After spending three years on the run, he genuinely had no clue where he had ended up. It must be said, the worlds of the myriad realms are vast beyond comprehension—even the Heavenly Emperors might not know all the dimensions.
He collected his thoughts, pondered for a moment, then pointed his finger at a nearby tree. In the span of a breath, the tree transformed into a naked man, staring blankly at Yusuf with a lifeless gaze.
When Yusuf saw the man, he nearly jumped out of his skin in fright.
Because... because the tree-man he had created was blond-haired, blue-eyed, high-nosed—he looked quite a lot like a foreigner.
Not to mention, the tree-man’s body was tinged with faint traces of Blood Energy and an unmistakable smell of blood.
"What’s going on here?" Yusuf was perplexed. Previously, whenever he transformed flowers, plants, or trees into human form, they had always been black-haired and yellow-skinned. But this? This one had mutated.
"Could it be related to the Spiritual Energy or soil in this place?" Yusuf frowned, thought for a while, and then decided not to speak further. Instead, with a flash of motion, he transformed into a streak of Parasitic Light and drilled straight into the tree-man’s central soul point, swiftly seizing his soul and body.
"Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap..." He moved around, flexing his hands and feet. At that moment, he was no longer Yusuf Zuck; he had transformed into the tree-man. Of course, unless the White Emperor appeared, no one would be able to discern his true identity.
He put on clothes and secured the Horse-cutting Saber at his waist.
As for the God Bow of Shooting the Sun or the Heaven and Earth Great Staff, he avoided using them whenever possible. These Divine Weapons were too recognizable—if word got out about them, he had no doubt it would attract countless powerful figures to this place.
But the Horse-cutting Saber was inconspicuous; the chances of it being exposed were extremely low, and its combat capabilities were also tremendously potent.
With that, he ascended into the sky and began to cautiously fly forward.
His instincts told him that this world likely had humans, yet it was profoundly strange, making caution imperative.
Of course, he wasn’t particularly worried—even though he couldn’t leave this place, years of enduring hardships had conditioned him to adapt. Since he was here, he would make the best of it; eventually, he’d find a way out.
However, not long after he started flying high into the air, several streaks of white radiance suddenly shot toward him from the distance—emanating even stronger traces of Blood Energy.
Yusuf immediately assumed the white streaks were coming to trouble him, so he stopped mid-air, gripping the hilt of his saber and preparing for a fight.
As the white radiance drew closer, Yusuf finally caught sight of their forms, and his reaction was downright astonished—he bit his tongue so hard he almost drew blood, his eyes bulged, and his jaw nearly dropped to the ground.
Because... because those several streaks of white radiance were bird-men.
That’s right, bird-men—with white feathered wings, a scent of blood lingering on their bodies, yet also exuding a divine aura that felt holy.
Bird-men... bird-men...
Yusuf swallowed hard. Where the hell was he? Suddenly everything clicked—the mutated blue-eyed blond tree-man made sense now; this was clearly an Alien Race’s world.
Luckily, the bird-men weren’t here to confront him; they merely soared overhead and swiftly disappeared into the distance.
Watching them pass, Yusuf realized their Cultivation Levels were actually higher than his—they were at the Emperor Realm.
The Emperor Realm meant this dimension wasn’t an ordinary one, or even an Immortal Realm. Rather, it rivaled the level of the Heavenly Realm and its parallel dimensions.
"Still in the Heavenly hierarchy, that’s good news." Yusuf exhaled deeply, muttering to himself.
After the bird-men disappeared into the horizon, Yusuf decided to follow them in that direction.
Approximately four hours later, a small town appeared before him. From a distance, the town’s architecture was entirely European in style, with intersecting roads surrounding it from all directions. The roads were busy with Alien Race individuals walking or loitering.
For a split second, Yusuf felt as though he had stepped back into a Western Medieval Era.
Without hesitation, he strode toward the town, entered its perimeter, and listened to the locals chatting in a language he couldn’t understand.
This place was unlike any cultivation world he had ever known or seen.
If this was a High-Level Realm, it appeared to be controlled by a single species—a singular race.
"Could Gabriel from back on Earth have ended up in this dimension?" Yusuf thought back to the bird-man he once encountered years ago while on Earth. That bird-man had been immensely powerful. Though Yusuf had eventually heard of him in the Immortal Realm, he had never seen him again.
If this dimension housed an entire bird-man race, perhaps Gabriel had ascended to this Realm after leaving Earth.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz—" As Yusuf strolled casually through the town, taking in the sights and sounds, a dazzling white light suddenly erupted from the central spherical palace of the town.
When the white light burst forth, every single person in the vicinity—whether a merchant or passer-by—dropped to their knees, praying and exalting fervently.
Yusuf was baffled. "What the hell’s going on now?"
However, on the street filled with kneeling individuals, he stood alone, making himself glaringly conspicuous.
And before he could fully comprehend the situation, an enormous golden hand shot out from the white palace, swiftly reaching toward him.
Startled beyond belief, Yusuf was frozen in place—not because of fear, but because he realized he couldn’t move. This was a powerful entity, far surpassing Emperor Realm.
Quickly assessing the situation, Yusuf decided not to resist. After all, failing to kneel wasn’t necessarily an act of hostility. And so, he allowed the golden hand to grab him.
"Whoosh—" The hand reeled him in and tossed him onto the central plaza within the white palace, trapping him inside a transparent light barrier.
Yusuf remained confused. The light barrier was evidently some kind of restriction—the golden hand had confined him within.
The dazzling light around the palace lasted for about a minute before fading, after which a group of men and women of varying ages stepped out, all dressed in robes—white, black, or red. As they walked, many of them seemed to glare at Yusuf harshly.
Still, they passed by without taking further action against him—leaving Yusuf even more bewildered.
Roughly half an hour later, one of the individuals who had glared at him came back—a woman dressed in a red robe, with blond hair and blue eyes. She approached and flicked her finger, dropping a bead of blood onto the light barrier, instantly dispelling it.
She then barked coldly in a language Yusuf couldn’t understand.
Though he couldn’t make out her words, he figured they were instructions to follow her. Accustomed to disorienting situations, Yusuf also surmised that she likely mistook him for one of her kind—after all, both had blond hair and blue eyes.
