Chapter 1468: Chapter 1468: The Worries of the Giant Spirit God’s Servant
In many mortal planes across All Heavens, there are countless myths and legends. And within these myths and legends, there are always some recurring phrases, such as a certain deity "transcending the Three Realms, no longer bound by the Five Elements."
This "transcending the Three Realms, no longer bound by the Five Elements" seems to suggest a figure unshackled by heaven and earth, a free wanderer uninhibited by rules.
However, myths are ultimately just myths, a literary tool used by authors, often exaggerated and fantastical.
Cultivators know that within the cosmos of All Heavens, there are only the Three Realms: the Human Realm, the Earth Realm, and the Heavenly Realm. These comprise the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.
Since there are only Three Realms in total, no matter how far one transcends, they cannot escape these three worlds. Within the Three Realms, reincarnation is inevitable, cycling endlessly through life and death.
Even the Gods of the Heavenly Realm believe that the Heavenly Realm is the highest plane, and its overseers are agents of the Heavenly Dao.
Yet, what cultivators don’t know is that there truly exists a group of beings who have long transcended the Three Realms and are far beyond the Five Elements.
These beings are the elites among the Ancient Great Gods.
Examples include the Five Great Emperors, the Thirty-Six Celestial Generals, the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiends, and those other legendary figures celebrated from ancient times.
They do not reside in any Element World, Universe Realm, or Nether Shore Realm; for all these realms, including the so-called Element World, Universe Realm, and Nether Shore Realm, are still within the domain of the Heavenly Realm, existing on the same plane as the Heavenly Realm.
The domain they inhabit is called "Longevity Heaven."
Longevity Heaven is not a realm, nor does it coexist with the Heavenly Realm in the same parallel space—it transcends All Heavens and the Myriad Realms entirely.
As for why it’s called Longevity Heaven, it is because one day in Longevity Heaven equals a year in the other planes.
Spending a day in Longevity Heaven is equivalent to a year passing in the Heavenly Realm or other planes. Thus, those in Longevity Heaven are ageless, undying, and enjoy eternal life.
The number of inhabitants in Longevity Heaven is very small—merely a few hundred cave dwellings or palaces. And the reason for the presence of these palaces is that some inhabitants don’t reside there permanently; they might live in the Element World, the Universe Realm, the Nether Shore Realm, etc., because Longevity Heaven connects to any plane at will.
Longevity Heaven is like a transit hub of the cosmos, or the pinnacle of a pyramid. From Longevity Heaven, one can freely enter any other plane.
The Thunderbolt Child is indeed Thunderbolt Beads, and his true identity is the attendant of the Central Great Emperor.
Within Longevity Heaven are the Five Heavenly Emperors.
The Eastern Heavenly Emperor, Robert Baxter. The Southern Heavenly Emperor, Helen Torres. The Western Heavenly Emperor, White. The Northern Heavenly Emperor, Safe. The Central Heavenly Emperor, Javier Higgins.
Thunderbolt Beads is the attendant of the Central Heavenly Emperor, Javier Higgins. Naturally, their title of "Heavenly Emperor" does not signify rulership over empires or dynasties but is instead a classification of rank, a cultivation realm.
It is well known that the cultivation realms of Heavenly Realm practitioners are divided by the rank of "Deity," such as Divine King, Divine Emperor, or Divine Sovereign.
Meanwhile, the cultivation levels of Ancient Great Gods are categorized by "Heaven."
Beneath the Heavenly Emperor, there are five ranks as well:
The Heavenly Saint, also known as the Saint or Ancient Sage.
The Heavenly Lord, also called the Dao Lord or Ancient Dao Lord.
Followed by the Heavenly King, Heavenly Master, and Heavenly Son.
The Heavenly Emperor holds the highest rank, followed by the Heavenly Saint, and the Heavenly Son occupies the lowest.
Only those above the Saint Realm can enter Longevity Heaven; even the Heavenly Lord is unqualified to step foot there.
Of course, if someone is brought there by a Heavenly Emperor or Heavenly Saint, that is a different matter. For example, Thunderbolt Beads, as the attendant of the Central Heavenly Emperor, accompanies his master wherever he goes—this is considered normal.
The Central Heavenly Emperor, Javier Higgins, resides in Longevity Heaven year-round. There, he has a cave dwelling, apprentices, disciples, and more.
Thunderbolt Beads is a greatly favored attendant of the Central Heavenly Emperor. Otherwise, if Thunderbolt Beads had committed a grave mistake, he would have been executed; instead, he was merely punished with a hundred lashes, and even the one carrying out the lashes was the Giant Spirit God Slave. Clearly, Javier Higgins was imposing a mild reprimand.
And precisely because of the favor shown to Thunderbolt Beads, he is allowed to freely enter any celestial plane. For instance, Thunderbolt Beads spent countless years in the Heavenly Realm, leaving behind numerous legends. But in truth, Thunderbolt Beads was merely there for his own amusement.
The Central Heavenly Emperor often secludes himself in cultivation. As a result, no one dares to interfere with Thunderbolt Beads. Since a day in Longevity Heaven equals a year in the Heavenly Realm, if Thunderbolt Beads stays in the Heavenly Realm for a hundred or ten thousand years, only a hundred or ten thousand days would pass in Longevity Heaven. Furthermore, Javier Higgins’ seclusions often last for tens of thousands of years.
Thus, Thunderbolt Beads is effectively a free man.
As for the Giant Spirit God Slave belonging to Javier Higgins, he is a peculiar existence. This being has existed since the dawn of the cosmos and is often vacant-minded and dull, yet possesses unimaginable strength and countless Divine Skills.
Javier Higgins once attempted to study the Giant Spirit God Slave but failed to understand why this being has so many unthinkable divine abilities.
Due to the Giant Spirit God Slave’s simplicity, Javier Higgins subdued him with a Secret Technique, making him his divine servant.
However, the Giant Spirit God Slave does have moments of clarity, and over time, he developed a hidden friendship with Thunderbolt Beads, with whom he has spent the most time.
Thunderbolt Beads met Yusuf Zuck in the Heavenly Realm and eventually learned everything about him. He then shared this knowledge with the Giant Spirit God Slave, who remarked that Yusuf Zuck is one of his kin.
Among the myriad realms and countless celestial planes, the Giant Spirit Clan had long gone extinct. With the appearance of Yusuf Zuck, the Giant Spirit God Slave, in his rare lucid moments, was determined to assist this kin of his.
Yet, even the Giant Spirit God Slave himself doesn’t know why his Giant Spirit Clan exists, where they come from, or how they were born.
"There shouldn’t be any danger, right? If he kills too many people, will the Heavenly Emperors and Saints obliterate him? Or worse, capture him like me and turn him into a divine servant?" In a small courtyard, the Giant Spirit God Slave voiced his deep concern. Although he helped Yusuf Zuck enter the True Spirit World as one of the eighty-one chosen to receive divine fortune, he couldn’t help but worry. With his own fate as an example, who didn’t know of his strength being on par with a Heavenly Emperor yet ending up a servant?
"It’s too late to regret now," Thunderbolt Beads shook his head and said, "Our initial goal was for him to absorb others’ Blood Energy so that, in eighteen heavens... no, eighteen years, he would be transported into the Heavenly Dao Gate. Weren’t you yourself someone who emerged from the Heavenly Dao Gate?"
"But I was captured by the Great Emperor not long after I emerged and turned into a divine servant. When I saw others’ expressions earlier, it was clear they harbored ill intentions. If he truly ends up like me, captured and enslaved, wouldn’t we have brought harm upon him?"
"Not necessarily. By emerging from the Heavenly Dao Gate, his strength should match yours, correct? Plus, his mind is clear, unlike yours, which was muddled back then. All you knew was to fight and kill without considering escape. If you had fled back then, you wouldn’t be in this position now, right? When the time comes, even if he inherits your level of cultivation, he can escape if he doesn’t win."
"Then we have no choice but to bet on this. This is a great fortune we’re giving him."
"But I’m still worried. What if they intercept him mid-transit and prevent him from entering the Heavenly Dao Gate? Wouldn’t that leave him completely powerless to resist?"
"That’s a possibility!" Thunderbolt Beads inhaled deeply, his tone weighed with contemplation.
