Chapter 1249: Chapter 1248: Northwest, Northwest

Based on the deputy camp leader’s time of entering the mine, Yusuf Zuck and his two companions quickly deduced that it was just after dusk, and indeed, it was the best time to escape.

Of course, haste makes waste. The three of them sat on the mound of earth and began drawing a map. Yusuf Zuck pointed out the positions of some sentries within the barracks and identified the safest direction for their escape!

"How do you know more about this than I do?" Leonidas King asked in astonishment, as the map Yusuf drew indeed highlighted the weakest spot in the camp!

"If I had wanted to run, I would have done so long ago," Yusuf shrugged, but his expression soon turned serious again, "However, this area, stretching for billions of miles, is barren and desolate. There’s still a chance we could be pursued, so prepare yourselves for death!"

"How do you know that the area for billions of miles is barren?" Alden Baxter asked, confused.

"I’ve studied the terrain above. About two billion miles southeast, there’s a small town with twenty-two homes, a tea house, a guest house, a blacksmith shop, an apothecary, and a grain store. It’s a place where travelers stop," Yusuf explained as he drew a large circle on the map, pointing out the location of the town. "Besides this town, there’s no sign of human habitation within two billion miles."

"Continuing southeast from the town, after nearly five billion miles, there’s a city, but I don’t know much beyond that." Yusuf spoke truthfully; although his Telekinesis could stretch across countless lightyears, the space in the Heavenly Realm was different. Many places were impenetrable to his Telekinesis, such as underground or if extended too far, where the space itself would warp, limiting his Telekinesis to within ten billion miles. Also, he couldn’t see inside the cities because they are protected by Formation, which blocks all Telekinesis.

The terrain and spatial complexities of the Heavenly Realm were among the reasons he couldn’t travel through space-time!

"You know of a city seven billion miles away? You..." Both Leonidas King and Alden Baxter were utterly dumbfounded, especially Leonidas King. He had been here for over twenty thousand years and knew nothing of the towns or cities, yet Yusuf was able to recite these details as if they were common knowledge. This fellow was truly remarkable!

"That means we have to run seven billion miles? Seven billion miles," Alden Baxter, the Great Emperor, shuddered. In the Immortal Realm, such a distance might not be significant, but here, in the Heavenly Realm, he wasn’t even a Lower-level Divine Person and doubted he could even fly, so how could they possibly escape?

"If it’s such a distance, we can’t run away, and even if we reach a town or city, we can’t enter because we have brands on our faces. Anyone with a brand appearing among people will be seized—it’s a rule of the Heavenly Realm. The brand marks us as slaves, making it clear we’ve escaped, so moving even an inch will be difficult!"

"Damn it, I can’t even scrape this brand off with a shovel; it’s branded deep within my soul!" the Great Emperor Alden Baxter exclaimed anxiously.

"It seems that the deputy camp leader has Magic Treasures that can remove the brand. Let’s talk about it once we’ve escaped," Yusuf remarked after glancing at the deputy camp leader’s ring.

"Right!" Leonidas King and Alden Baxter’s eyes lit up.

"So, how should we escape?" both asked Yusuf simultaneously, knowing that escape seemed impossible!

"Let’s head northwest," Yusuf suggested, tracing a path on the ground, "About three million miles in that direction lies a huge snowy mountain, and my Divine Sense can’t detect what’s beyond it, including the mountain itself—it must be the polar region!"

"Polar region it is, as long as we can escape this cursed place, anywhere will do!" the Great Emperor declared fiercely.

"Indeed, we can only hide in the polar region for now and look for another chance to escape later!"

"But Zhuang Yi, you must have some great secret on you, right? I’ve tried using Divine Sense before, but I couldn’t detect beyond ten miles!"

"You can detect things millions of miles away, even billions, while I can’t even detect past the barracks; how do you do it?" Great Emperor Alden Baxter curiously asked, for in this Heavenly Realm, their Divine Sense was constrained everywhere, and since they weren’t even Lower-level Divine People, they could only see a few miles.

"Oh? Is that so?" Yusuf pondered, realizing that his unique abilities distinguished him from others. Where others couldn’t reach beyond ten miles, he could sense up to ten billion miles, likely due to the Purple Blood Beads; these were not his Cultivation Level’s Divine Sense, but rather Telekinesis!

"Alright, if you’re not afraid of dying, come with me!" Yusuf stood up and both Leonidas King and Alden Baxter picked up a waist knife from the ground, also grabbing two rings of Divine Weapons and swiftly performed blood recognition.

"Holy smokes, there are two thousand Spirit Stones here!" the Great Emperor exclaimed with delight.

"I’ve got nearly three thousand here!" Leonidas King exclaimed with excitement: "And some basic essentials for eating and living."

"And you, Zhuang Yi?" both then asked Yusuf.

"It seems to be over ten million or so, uh-huh, not bad at all," Yusuf said in a tone that could infuriate anyone.

"Damn!" Both swore simultaneously. Over ten million Spirit Stones for just a minor deputy camp leader; how many might the camp leader have?

"Haha, let’s go!" Yusuf laughed heartily, and then the three of them began to move up.

Yusuf led the way, with Leonidas King and Alden Baxter following. Despite many people in the mine, Yusuf had walked the paths countless times, knowing how to avoid others.

After nearly five hours, the trio finally reached the surface, and it was deep into the night—the perfect timing for their escape.

"Whish, whish, whish~" Taking advantage of the darkness and the familiar routes, Yusuf quickly led them out of the camp area, staying close to the ground.

After covering more than two thousand meters, he flew up into the air and continued forward.

However, a comedic scene ensued behind him—seeing Yusuf fly, Leonidas King and Alden Baxter also jumped up but ended up crashing to the ground together!

Then, they looked at each other bewilderedly; they couldn’t even fly!

Not being Lower-level Divine Persons essentially meant they had no cultivation at all in this Heavenly Realm, requiring them to start over as the most basic and lowliest individuals.

Yusuf was also shocked; he clearly remembered that even when he wasn’t a Lower-level Divine Person, he could still fly, albeit unable to perform space-time travel. But now, neither Leonidas King nor Alden Baxter could even fly!

I am different from them!

Taking a deep breath, Yusuf realized it was probably the Purple Blood Beads causing this distinct advantage, granting him innate superior abilities compared to others.

"Go!" Yusuf swiftly extended his hand, grabbing one in each arm and proceeded at a low altitude. Although the speed wasn’t very fast, it was certainly not slow.

Northwest, heading northwest, Yusuf pushed on, striving to distance themselves from the camp before dawn!
