Chapter 1234: Chapter 1233: The Iron Tree Does Not Blossom
For Hugh Zuck, Yusuf Zuck had completely given up hope, and at the same time, he secretly decided, what if he just raised his foolish son for a lifetime?
Letting him live a life without worries about food or clothing and in peace and wealth would not be a waste of his journey to this world.
Out of sight, out of mind, he truly closed himself off and sat on the summit of Misty Mountain, his Telekinesis reaching beyond Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, watching the wild winds and lightning outside, watching the light penetrate.
He wanted to find the various patterns of the wild winds, lightning, and light outside. Then, as long as he could freely fly outside, there would be hope of escaping. Otherwise, if he couldn’t even fly, what was there to talk about escaping?
It was incredibly tedious and dull to focus fully on finding the irregular patterns of wild winds and lightning using Telekinesis; it was especially exhausting for the mind and spirit.
However, to be able to leave, he still calmed his heart and silently searched.
In this silent search, time seemed to accelerate. Day after day, year after year, and after countless years, Yusuf Zuck’s body suddenly vanished without a trace. In the next second, he was in the Dark Zone, with thunder splitting the air, lightning streaking by, and light rays shooting towards him, while wild winds brushed past.
Yet his body continuously shifted and maneuvered, with light skimming past his body, thunder sweeping over his scalp, and he even swiftly moved away from his original spot by following the blowing winds.
He was like a small fish, constantly darting about in the darkness, avoiding one danger after another that threatened his life.
This time, he traveled for three full months. During these three months, he wasn’t struck by lightning nor hit by light rays, nor were the fierce winds able to scatter him. Instead, he felt his Divine Sense and Telekinesis become more solid and his physical body grew stronger. At times, he even absorbed some flames and weak lightning to refine his own body.
He also discovered his Nascent Soul growing stronger and bigger day by day, his Cultivation Level rising on its own, now nearing the Nine-Rank Complete Realm.
Three months later, he returned to Blue Sea and Cloud Sky and upon meeting Rafael Case he learned that this period of seclusion had actually lasted over nine hundred years!
Nine hundred years? Yusuf Zuck clicked his tongue in marvel, secretly sighing that in the path of spiritual cultivation, centuries passed like a snap of the fingers.
Though these nine hundred years brought some gains, the effects were minimal. Although he could now move about in the darkness, there was still nowhere to unleash his powers, and he couldn’t tear apart the Dark Space-Time.
Fortunately, there was joyous news in Blue Sea and Cloud Sky—Little Peachy Red was finally pregnant!
That’s right, after over nine hundred years, even the most foolish son, sleeping in the same bed with two beautiful women every day, would eventually experience what should naturally occur.
The foolish son had finally come to his senses, taking two at once, and then Little Peachy Red’s belly had swelled.
Yusuf Zuck called the foolish son to the mountain summit and inquired carefully, asking whether it was he who had deflowered her, whether there had been any signs of blood. It was essential for him to be explicit; if he used any kind of euphemism, his son wouldn’t understand even after nine hundred years!
Fortunately, the foolish son also answered truthfully, and even recalled the event with a sense of fear—he had indeed caused Little Peachy Red to bleed.
That’s great, that’s great!
Yusuf Zuck patted his foolish son’s shoulder. In fact, he regretted a bit that back on Earth, he should have considered bringing some adult films from the Island Country, letting his foolish son watch and learn something from time to time.
Truth be told, him being a father was rather scoundrelly—his son being honest and good-natured was wonderful, and his inherent kindness was also great, but he just had to try and teach his son some mischief!
Of course, there’s really no helping it—because in this vast world, only the bad thrive like fish in water and live longer without being taken advantage of!
Yusuf’s silly son never learned to be tricky. After so many years, he’s still so naively foolish!
Furthermore, Yusuf noticed that within his son’s Dantian, there was a mass of energy accumulated. He couldn’t ascend, so the more energy that built up, the more powerful it became, even containing Chaos Qi, and even a sense of ’the Way’ within it.
This foolish child had actually comprehended the Way; he had the power of the Way in him!
You must know, he’s just a Mortal Small Cultivator at most, yet he had the power of the Way!
Foolish may he be, and simple may he seem, but this child’s destiny was not less than anyone else, which was the only comforting thought for Yusuf.
"Father, mother said I should name my child myself, or you should, and I want to hear your opinion—should I name him, or should you?" Hugh Zuck spoke so slowly and deliberately that it just rubbed Yusuf the wrong way.
"He’s your son, so you should name him, Hugh. You’re grown up now, you have a child, you have a family, you now have descendants, you need to be responsible for your family and build them a great empire!" Yusuf patted his shoulder.
"Then Hugh will name him. Hugh has a few names already thought out, do you think they’re okay, father?" said Hugh, looking at Yusuf.
"Um, let’s hear them," Yusuf nodded, all ears.
"One is Andre Zuck, one is Ethan Zuck, and one is..."
"Are you kidding me?"
With a ’bang’, Yusuf booted Hugh away. The first name sounded good, but the second one was actually ’Ethan Zuck’, he was so afraid the silly son would next say ’Orlando Zuck’, which would just kill him!
The flying Hugh, not at all bothered by pain, brushed himself off and flew back, defiantly saying, "Hugh hasn’t finished, can’t you hear Hugh out? And I don’t have a sister; the aunties say you’re like a sterile tree, you don’t bloom!"
"Ugh—" Yusuf almost spat blood in frustration. What to do, why so naïve, how to handle this son!
"You... I... keep talking!" Yusuf gritted his teeth; the silly kid would burst if he didn’t spit it out, with his one-track mind!
"The third is Douglas Zuck, the fourth is Ethan Zuck, the fifth Ezra Zuck, the sixth Andre Zuck, the sixth Thaddeus Zuck, the seventh Orlando Zuck..."
"Son, can you stop?" Yusuf pleaded, "No need to continue, let’s pick Douglas Zuck, let’s go with Douglas Zuck!"
"Oh, then Hugh will listen to father," Hugh nodded.
"Hmm, go and play," Yusuf waved him off, not daring to stay with his son any longer, fearing he might die of frustration.
Once Hugh was gone, Yusuf summoned Rafael Case and Pier, using Hand of the Supreme Heaven to drag them over.
As soon as these two imbeciles were seized, he started beating them while shouting, "What have you been doing all these years, huh? Didn’t I tell you to teach Hugh to be cunning? Why’s he still so foolish? Why hasn’t he learned to be bad? Huh? Huh?" Yusuf hit them as he questioned, and Rafael and Pier both cried, your foolish son, you can’t even corrupt him, what can we do!
When Yusuf had beaten them enough, he couldn’t stand being in Blue Sea and Cloud Sky a moment longer. He really, desperately wanted to escape the darkness, to see the light, and then banish Hugh Zuck, let him see the world, get deceived a few times, maybe even experience a love crisis or two, let him learn that the world is treacherous, not wonderful!
