Chapter 1233: Chapter 1232: What Should I Do with My Silly Son?
Even if it was a hellish place, even if every time he went out, it seemed lifethreatening, Yusuf Zuck still believed that the greatest danger came from people.
After all, disasters here are dead, while people are alive, so living threats are always much more terrifying than dead ones. Therefore, he had to keep his distance, the farther the better.
Sometimes he could cover a hundred meters at a time, and sometimes he could only manage ten or so, but each journey would leave him severely wounded, seeking refuge in Blue Sea and Cloud Sky.
For half a year, back and forth repetitively, not knowing just how far he had traveled, he finally stopped moving forward and settled down in the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky.
There was no lack of food or clothing in the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, and with his wife and child by the warm bed, he felt happy, even if he might never leave this place.
Of course, he didn’t believe he would never be able to leave, because he would grow stronger, and one day he would become super powerful.
He settled down in Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, occasionally amusing his child, occasionally observing the storm and lightning outside through Blue Sea and Cloud Sky.
Day after day, year after year, before he knew it, the eighteenth year arrived, and he suddenly realized that Hugh Zuck had grown up; Hugh Zuck was eighteen now.
When Hugh was very young, he asked him what the outside world was like. He had described it to Hugh, but his son remained curious, always wanting to venture out and see for himself.
Moreover, the kid was exceptionally talented. At eighteen, he had reached the Mahayana Realm; it was just a pity that there were no tribulation streaks here. If there had been, Hugh Zuck might have undergone Cross the Tribulation Ascension already.
Of course, there was one thing that gave Yusuf Zuck a headache, because Hugh was very... simple.
How should I put it... not stupid, but also not particularly bright. The kid was incredibly honest, always grinning; his aunts even called him "Simple Hugh."
Yusuf Zuck remembered being crafty and mischievous as a kid, with plenty of tricks up his sleeve, but his son seemed to be on the simpler side. He wouldn’t say his son could be led astray with just a couple of candies, but it wasn’t far from it!
About this, Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox often got frustrated. In fact, they would rather have their child be a bit naughtier, a bit more domineering. After all, the bad ones live longer and get ahead in life.
And what about Hugh Zuck? If he were to leave the Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, he’d probably get tricked to death.
Hugh Zuck’s personality was the polar opposite of Yusuf Zuck’s; the kid was nice, but a real Simple Hugh.
In fact, Yusuf Zuck knew in his heart that his son was a real simpleton!!!
But no matter what, it was his own child, so he had to tolerate even the simpleton in him. Moreover, he constantly tried to instill some bad ideas in Hugh, like sneaking into the Elven Tribe Residence to peek at the elven beauties bathing, and then creating opportunities for Hugh to commit even more wicked acts, even slipping him an aphrodisiac while he frolicked with an elven beauty!
However, things often didn’t go as planned, and no matter how much he tried to teach him, a simple person just couldn’t learn to be bad. Simple Hugh almost suffocated himself but didn’t lay a finger on the elven beauty!
On Hugh’s eighteenth birthday, after consulting with the Elven Chief, Yusuf Zuck called upon two elven girls to serve Hugh’s daily needs and even ordered that they share a bed at night!
But ten days later, the girls’ innocence remained intact!
Yusuf Zuck was utterly speechless; how could he have such a foolish son? But even so, the fool was his own flesh and blood!
Besides this, Yusuf Zuck also taught Hugh how to judge situations by reading cues, and to strike first and kill if anything seemed amiss.
The kid simply nodded in agreement, indicating he understood, but Yusuf Zuck knew this little rascal had his own scale in mind, his own ideas!
Trying to change Hugh Zuck’s simplicity was too difficult.
"I just can’t take it anymore, I need to figure out a way to leave the Dark World and then go to a planet where mortals live, send Big Bull into exile, and we’ll follow him secretly. If this kid doesn’t get out and see the world soon, he’s going to turn into a real moron!"
"You’re the moron, my son is definitely not dumb!"
At night, Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox lay in bed, discussing Hugh Zuck. Over the years, Yusuf and Hugh had their share of frustration. His son was like a blockhead, a true dullard. Who would protect him once he was gone or no longer around? He wouldn’t rest in peace if he died!
"Fine, I’m the fool, are you happy now?" Yusuf begged for mercy.
"Actually, Big Bull is not stupid, he just has his own way of doing things, his own ideas, his own principles. And besides, over the years, whether it’s math or literature, isn’t everything Big Bull learns a breeze? Have you ever seen anyone reach Mahayana Perfection at eighteen? If he could ascend, Big Bull would probably surpass a Golden Immortal by now!" Ruth snorted.
"That’s true, sometimes the kid is pretty smart, but he just doesn’t know how to behave, too naive!"
"Well, he’s not as bad as you," Ruth said empathetically.
"What did I do to be bad?" Yusuf glared.
"You were born a troublemaker, what haven’t you done?"
"Me..." Yusuf opened his mouth: "I’ve done every damn thing!" Indeed, his behavior over the years had been that of a villain, even one might say, an old demon.
And what is an old demon? That’s a super villain among villains, the worst of the worst!
"Come on, let’s get a little exercise. I’m going to start meditating tomorrow to find a way out. Then there won’t be time for this!" Yusuf didn’t wait for Ruth’s half-hearted objections and tackled her like a peasant overthrowing his lords!
Another thing was, for eighteen years, the iron tree did not blossom. Yusuf worked hard, toiled away at night, consumed plenty of elven fertility potions, and the Elven Tribe even had a special research lab just to study why he couldn’t have children!
But after eighteen years of research, they ended up with nothing!
The next morning, Yusuf walked out of Ruth’s room to find Hugh Zuck sitting in the courtyard meditating. Seeing Yusuf come out, Hugh immediately got up with a goofy smile, "Father, you’re up!"
"Scram!" What was Yusuf’s temper like? It lit up at the slightest spark. So, seeing Hugh acting all foolish, calling him ’father’ and ’sir’, really got under his skin!
They were family. Why the need for ’sir’ and bowing? He didn’t need this kind of formality. He would rather hear Hugh call him ’you old geezer, still kicking up a fuss at your age’ than hear his greetings.
Hugh just scratched his head: "Maybe you want to kick me a couple of times?"
"I... dammit..." Yusuf was almost in tears. What should he do with such a dimwitted son?
"Father, Big Bull, I had a dream last night, and then... and then..." Hugh turned red as he spoke.
"Out with it, don’t dawdle!" Yusuf waved his hand.
"Then, before I knew it, Big Bull was on top of Little Peach Blossom..."
"What, what, what?" Yusuf jumped up, his eyes wide. Little Peach Blossom was one of the two girls sent over by the Elven Chief. "Go on, keep talking!" He was ecstatic. His son was finally getting to know the pleasures of the flesh, the ecstasy of the human world!
"And then Big Bull swelled her head with blows, and I set her on fire, it was burnt, you should go treat her, Big Bull really didn’t mean to. Big Bull was fighting beasts in the dream, pinning the beast down and beating it, but I had no idea it was Little Peach Blossom I was hitting!"
"I... dammit, I could kill you..." Yusuf was practically spitting blood. Scaring his kid, how could he do this!!!
